The cake is beautiful. The voiceover helps me learn a great deal. Your voice is lovely. And I really enjoy your sense of humor! So, please keep doing these and thank you so much!
Stephanie, I have followed you for some time from afar :) At first it was your work but I love to stick around for the sarcasm you occasionally insert. Your videos are like being in a conversation and personal. So refreshing, like your citrus canes :)
So beautiful. Funny you don't really like the texturing part of the cake. I find it to be the most satisfying part which also gives so much realism and beauty to the cake. Thank you so much.
Oh my god, I loved this! I'm so glad to see you do a tutorial with talking. This is my favorite video of yours now, lol. You're really funny, and you have a very pretty voice. You should talk in your tutorials more often. And the cake - the cake was simply gorgeous!
Thank you for another great tutorial. I love the colours in this cake. Thank you for keeping it a little slower. I also hate texturing cakes. Haha. It is interesting to see how many people also dislike it.
What an awesome video! I can sympathize about the texturing. For me making roses are very monotonous. I love your voice, it sounds just like I imagined it would.
+Megan Hess I'm not a big fan of making roses either! But I already spontaneously ranted about the cake texture, so I thought that was enough negativity in one video haha :D
+Stephanie K. PetitPlat I didn't find it negative at all😊it was lovely. You were just stating the truth, texturing is a pain in the bum. There are parts of miniature art that are like that, but sometimes it can be nice to do something you're super familiar with so you can watch T.V. Or something.
Aaah moi j'aime bien texture les gâteaux mais c'est sûrement parce que je n'en fais pas souvent haha! très joli et très agréable d'entendre ta voix =)!!
1. totally awesome. 2. where did you get the cutter fir the petals please? 3. my icing didn't do that. it was thick. I need more TLS?? Thank you so much. keep up the Terriffic work. I am a follower!!!
+KARI BLEAM Icing takes time, so be patient stirring and poking. If it's too thick, then yes, more liquid clay. Those cutters are Kemper cutters, I got them online, but don't remember where.
If I bake the cake before adding icing, would I bake it again after to harden icing and rose? Would that not over bake or harm the cake itself? Can't wait to try this out. Thanks for the tutorial
Your work seriously amazes me, especially your little peeled mandarin oranges. If you ever did a tutorial on those, I would be so happy (but you totally don't have to ;) ). :)
+hooiyin it's a kemper cutter (5mm) but I don't recall where I got it. Most polymer clay craft stores have it. I plan to make a video about my favorite tools.
You are just too cute ! I loved watching and listening to you ! Thank you so much !! Question: After you have completed making the cake, do you bake it according to the package instructions? I am new to making miniatures. Thank you :)
When you cut the slices, the layers are perfectly intact. There's no smearing or smudging. I'm using an X-acto knife that's brand new and sharp, but I have smearing :-( How can I prevent that?
4:54 to 6:08 she has another cake in the background that she obviously made before hand so she had a reference to what it looked like or something Like if you see it
I loved the voice over! You have a very pleasant way of talking about what you're doing and a wonderful sense of humor!
+Emma Roslin huhu, glad you liked it :)

You might want to try some baking or cookie decorating tools for your clay. You are very talented. ❤
I guess I'm the oddball because I actually love texturing cakes! It's relaxing to me 😊
+Trina Moreau not at all, everyone is different when it comes to sculpting or creating :)

I don't like to texture either, but the result is always worth it, and this cake is worth it. It is gorgeous!!! XOXO
+Real Life Dollhouse Miniatures totally worth it indeed! still annoying haha :D
C'est maaaagnifique!! Ton gâteau est vraiment hyper réaliste!!
J'aurai une question; dans quel magasin achètes-tu ta vaisselle miniature?

you can bake polymer clay several times
@@stephanie.kilgast I didn't know that this wouldn't harm the clay, thank you for the reply!!
Love it! I don't like texturing cake either, lol.
Hi! I adore this cake. I'm going to make it a project. Question, where do you get those miniature cake stands and saucers for the presentation?
Terrific like always! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥^-^

Wana ask where did u get that smaller mold cutter? :p
+hooiyin it's a kemper cutter (5mm) but I don't recall where I got it. Most polymer clay craft stores have it. I plan to make a video about my favorite tools.
Hello, great tutorial! If you dont mind me asking, whats the diameter of the cookie cutter?
5mm
Maravillosoooooooo :)
+Semardis Sierralta merci :)

+Tiffany Akerman I sell stuff : www.petitplat.fr/shop

What do you mean by Fimo liquids? In your supply list you have acrylic paint, you didn't add paint to the clay mix , right? Thank you 😊
it's the name of the product "fimo liquid", basically a liquid polymer clay.
How do you get such perfect slices???? Mine are slanted sometimes.....
your clay must be too warm, try to put it in the fridge for half an hour
j'adooore ! 😀😍
+donutqueen and katycat merci :)
what kind clay are you using?
polymer clay
you are awesome subscribed
What are these for? Do you sell them?
sculptures, typically for dollhouse collectors, but also for art collectors. And yes, on my website petitplat.fr
lower
When you cut the slices, the layers are perfectly intact. There's no smearing or smudging. I'm using an X-acto knife that's brand new and sharp, but I have smearing :-(
How can I prevent that?
+Cavin Urquhart I prefer using blades. I never use exacto knifes, so can't really say how to use those best.
Do you put the clay in the freezer first?
***** never
Osm😍😍😍😋😋
AH! I WANT TO EAT IT!!! 😭 😂😂😂
וואו את נהדרת זה זה ניפלא וואו
Aww it looks like a little present cake I want to eat it
Blood is also red , it may be a good choice when I have ran out of red colourXDD
+atura D sure! you just need to find a way that it doesn't oxidize, otherwise it'll end up brown.
