- Today is my book's "Miniature Cake Creations" 3rd birthday and I wanted to mark the occasion with a #tutorial of one of the projects in it. The most voted one was the #victoriaspongecake !
So today we'll be making a #miniature Victoria Sponge from #polymerclay and though it is not exactly like the one in the book, just to change things up a bit, I really hope you'll enjoy it.

I'm in. I got your book for Christmas just after it was launched. I've made a few of the cakes and two are on display with the British Polymer Clay Guild when they put on displays at shows to encourage others to join the craft. I'd love you to do another book. I thought one that went through the year with cakes for different celebrations such as diwali, Halloween etc. Please think about it because I'd definitely buy it! Hazel xxxx

What is the pointed tool you have been using for the fine crumbs ? Where is is available from ?,does it turn ?, Im having difficulty finding a polymer clay tool fine enough for miniature polymer clay things ,example cake & bread textures,Im in the uk .

Hiya, I think you're referring to the needle? You can use any needle. A safety pin was my go-to needle tool for years and I still use them :)
