Finally another live version of BLACK PEARL. Honestly the best song on the album , imo. The song is soooo beautiful along with the soothing sound of the sax 🎷. Also, SUNMI is as beautiful as ever and her voice compliments the song so well. Her stage presence is impeccable 💕💕
Hell yes - EASILY the best song on the album. And that isn't in any way putting down the rest of the album, it is just that perfect of a song and has a much more mature presence to amongst the 7 tracks. On her live US tour, it is funny how the crowd is most quiet for this but it easily was one of the two best songs of the night. She seems to enjoy the performance aspect of this song a lot since I am guessing it is less choreographed and more natural.10/10 performance. 10/10 song.

Her dream is to be an Iconic Artist which to me she has already achieved and created her own style which everyone can associate Sunmi as herself. Black Pearl shows her diversity on her singing style. It's not just about pop songs which made her famous but this is soulful song is about her flexibility in singing style. It may not sound commercially for the masses but this song has more depth than the rest of the previous songs (not saying it's not nice as i totally love it as I listen to all her songs at least 5 times a day). The Queen has made her mark and she will never ever be forgotten. She has the same status as Lee Hyori and BoA who both has their own unique style of singing plus she can really dance! Her time at JYP really help her a lot. The passing of her father made her much stronger (although all of us know she has a soft heart). I hope she and her management can manage her time better as it really has taken a toll on her health. I do hope she has a speedy recovery and have a really good rest as after promoting Siren.
