Mhmm it's not like they're gone. OK Yubin hasn't released songs recently, i think she's producing someone else or maybe spending too much time on clothes business. Yeeun plays a looper, she plays drums, she plays everything, she's a one woman band, and she's active as a singer songwriter. Lim is a writer and settled down with family. Sunmi is of course active as a singer songwriter, and she regularly plays bass in her own songs. I do wish to see them more, and seeing them work together would be really cool, they all have a lot of creativity. But more so i wish that they are happy.

I think is because most of the K-Pop public don't like bands and prefer copy-paste groups that imitate what more famous groups have done before. They are looking for catchy songs, srtiking choreographies and fashion, not music of high quality. WG have improved the quality of their music a lot and have become a band (K-Pop bands aren't as popular as dance groups). That and the hiatus is why they have lost popularity.
Legendary group and performance. They went through difficult times breaking into the US market to set the stage for future success of the Kpop groups of today. I always wish them the best.
Omg it was so great to see Sunmi sing Nobody and tell me again. It's obviously been years but I'm literally so happy to be able to see her perform those two songs again. I honestly never thought it would happen again. So to see this was great.

I like the new Wonder Girls era better then the old era. This entire album was incredibly great and it's so rare to ever see idols playing instruments in a band like this. Not rare..but nonexistent. I'm really surprised the older Wonder Girl fans don't support them. Pretty pathetic of all the old fans.

You have to take into consideration that the Wonder Girls have gone under a lot of lineup changes. They've finally found a concept that works well with their latest lineup though, so they've been getting a lot of love

hyerim got married this week !!! the four girls (sunmi, yubin, yeeun aka hatfelt, and sohee) all went/celebrated the wedding with her ! sunye facetimed then since she was in canada and they had a little wonder girls reunion for the first time in years for hyerim’s bridal shower. yeeun performed at her wedding, yubin is the ceo of rrr entertainment and hyerim is her first signed artist, they talked to jyp. so many good things happening and it’s so nice to see the girls supporting one another as always. hoping for even longer friendships and more memories to come
Love the band concept! WG keep going! Playing an instrument + dancing + singing isn't easy at all. Props to that! Sometimes it's not just about the money and how much albums sold but the quality of music, effort and passion put in a project.
I remember when I first got into WG it was when Nobody came out... it's great to see they've come such a long way! I'm so much more in love with them now that they can showcase their real talent!! I wish more Kpop groups did this, but a lot of them suffer the same faith as AOA, who actually played their own music and had a lot of potential but got so little attention for it they had to turn into a sexy dance group.... just like the rest :/
Serious props to them for doing this band concept because it's so much harder and bands are always more under the radar when dancing groups are highlighted. Sunmi has improved a lot too
Really just one of the best live performances by any kpop group. I'm completely blown away. People also forget that apart from playing all the instruments, these girls write their own songs. I'm so amazed by them

I agree with you as probably the best album of 2015. I like a lot of female groups...snsd, apink, girls day, nine muses...etc. But this Reboot ALBUM topped them all. Every song was good and there were a handful of extremely great songs. I remember all the hype BEFORE this album was released thinking it would be one of the top kpop albums of all-time. All the Wonder Girl fans were talking up a storm....BUT what happened? I guess the kpop world was not ready for a group that played instruments? Oh well, those that did listen to the entire album know how great it is. (and I was not really a big Wonder Girl fan either).
Wonder Girls should come back as a band because the K-Pop industry misses them. I know they're a girl group first & foremost but this is their best concept.
We miss them but remember the Reboot project was a little bit of a flop, it didn't really move much. The world wasn't ready, and maybe it's not ready yet, who knows.
2022 and still no one is doing it like the legendary Wonder Girls. They have always been ahead of their time and have always set the bar. Your faves better thank them for disbanding.
Aww I'm remembering the days when they toured with the Jonas Brothers... Seems like such a long time ago. Wonder Girls will always be remembered for being the first kpop group to make it big in the US :)
I'm starting to stan the group. Their songs are really unique. The main reason I really liked them is because of their talents. Memorizing choreographs and lyrics are difficult, much more is memorizing how to play musical instruments. Kudos to Yenny, I used to play keyboard before and just like dancing, it can be hard and it takes practice. She really slayed because she sang, played, and danced all at once and the other members too. Hyelim's my bias, btw.
Glad you're starting to stan Wonder Girls! They're really under-appreciated. Have been a fan since 2009 and hav no regrets! Try watching old variety shows of them! It'll make you love them more...especially their interactions with Super Junior cause the boys can't stop staring at them sometimes haha

I cried the first time I watched this performance because they just looked very sad here. They used to be the biggest stars and now the company gave them instruments.

It's like "It's you who I chose" But now, this version of Nobody makes me feel like a woman are depressed in love, very emotional.
Also the to people who keep saying they look said performing old songs without other members that's a lie. In the interview on sketchbook they admitted that sketchbook is the ONLY music show that allowed them the play their instruments live so they were nervous and really had to focus so that they didn't mess up.

SO SO SO SO PROUD OF WONDER GIRLS. They're seriously the only girl group who really grew up so much in terms of musicality and individuality. They really strayed away from mainstream girl group songs. It feels like I've gotten to know Wonder Girls more intimately after they've created and made their own music and sound. i close my eyes and the music takes me back to the 80's. Yubin is starting to relax more behind the drums. Talent can not be taught. Yoe either got it or you don't. i remember the 1st time I seen her. It was in the video " So Hot ' She was laying by the pool. Now look at her. Her Father must be very proud of her.
to be honest most groups have what Wonder Girls have ,but one thing that is noticeably missing in most groups is PASSION FOR MUSIC which is the back bone to the Wonder Girls ,not money ,not fame, not winning every single show , if what they deliver has quality (regardless to quantity which seems to be the trend these days) then it will be recognized sooner or later ,like 2015 they released I Feel You which made an ALL KILL ,but not a single win (amazing how that worked) , others release 3 or more songs and they win week after week after week and then comes the end of the year where the music critics got to say and release their own list of high quality music (wither k-pop or international) and the ones that kept winning, their songs and albums are not even close to the top 5 and some didn't even get close to the top 30 !!! ,BUT guess where are the Wonder Girls are ,as always No.1 - nothing against anyone but i'm just stating my thoughts ,cause it's hard for me to enjoy k-pop lately ,not just the music shows but also the programs ,most of it is used to got ahead in fame rather that entertainment . i don't know ,am i the only one that feels like that ???

i think most korean voters prefer quantity over quality. they always go after the youngest, the cutest and the most most pop sound. afterall korean netizens are somewhat crazy and unpredictable. we cant do anything abt it but yes its the sad reality in that country

It was too late to know, but from today I would like to continue listening to Wonder Girls until my life is exhausted. Yenny has always been WG's most stable vocalist. It has remained true after all these years, though the rest of them did improve, Sunmi especially. I wish both of them make solo releases again. Sunmi's two singles are still so damn good.
Wow I've never thought that seeing a band on a live performance will bring me hapiness. I missed Wonder Girls so muuuuch... They're the only ones I've followed since I've discovered K-Pop, I wasn't that atracted by the other groups anyway. Always waiting for a possible comeback... I'm just feeling so good, so glad to see them and so excited. The instruments fit them very well, they're so classy with it. I wish more TV Shows allowed them to practice their instrument in live ! Every time I come back to this video and listen to Nobody it makes me want to cry. These girls went through so much. Lineup changes, long promotions outside of Korea, concept changes. since 2012 snsd has kept itself relevant by being consistent with comebacks about once a year in korea. Wonder girls really weren't consistent because first they were abroad in the states, then from 2012- 1015 there was not group activities. 3 years is a lot in the industry, groups can go from irrelevant to top stars (sistar and EXID). and the other way around, top groups can decline in standing. it's not "unfair" because snsd puts in effort too that can't be overlooked. the only thing unfair is that JYP managed the wonder girls poorly, so they lost some relevance.

I don't even know Korean, yet I sing along with all these songs. "Tell Me" was the first K-Pop song I ever listened to, Wonder Girls were a great band, even though they went though a lot of changes. I thought that Tell Me, and Nobody were songs from the '90's because the original Wonder Girls, just how they dressed and stuff gave me 90's girl group vibes!

I wish more Kpop groups did this, but a lot of them suffer the same faith as AOA, who actually played their own music and had a lot of potential but got so little attention for it they had to turn into a sexy dance group.... just like the rest :/

Really just one of the best live performances by any kpop group. I'm completely blown away. People also forget that apart from playing all the instruments, these girls write their own songs. I'm so amazed by them

My Wonder Girls, they really are wonderfully talented!!! It's sad the little recognition they got for that amazing album that was Reboot, imo one of the best albums of 2015 if not the best.

I agree with you as probably the best album of 2015. I like a lot of female groups...snsd, apink, girls day, nine muses...etc. But this Reboot ALBUM topped them all. Every song was good and there were a handful of extremely great songs. I remember all the hype BEFORE this album was released thinking it would be one of the top kpop albums of all-time. All the Wonder Girl fans were talking up a storm....BUT what happened? I guess the kpop world was not ready for a group that played instruments? Oh well, those that did listen to the entire album know how great it is. (and I was not really a big Wonder Girl fan either).
Wonder Girls should come back as a band because the K-Pop industry misses them. I know they're a girl group first & foremost but this is their best concept.
We miss them but remember the Reboot project was a little bit of a flop, it didn't really move much. The world wasn't ready, and maybe it's not ready yet, who knows.

Aww I'm remembering the days when they toured with the Jonas Brothers... Seems like such a long time ago. Wonder Girls will always be remembered for being the first kpop group to make it big in the US :)

I'm starting to stan the group. Their songs are really unique. The main reason I really liked them is because of their talents. Memorizing choreographs and lyrics are difficult, much more is memorizing how to play musical instruments. Kudos to Yenny, I used to play keyboard before and just like dancing, it can be hard and it takes practice. She really slayed because she sang, played, and danced all at once and the other members too. Hyelim's my bias, btw.
Glad you're starting to stan Wonder Girls! They're really under-appreciated. Have been a fan since 2009 and hav no regrets! Try watching old variety shows of them! It'll make you love them more...especially their interactions with Super Junior cause the boys can't stop staring at them sometimes haha

But now, this version of Nobody makes me feel like a woman are depressed in love, very emotional.
if I heard Nobody dance version, it sound like a cheerful song, but with this version it sound so sad and depressed. I like both tho.

In the interview on sketchbook they admitted that sketchbook is the ONLY music show that allowed them the play their instruments live so they were nervous and really had to focus so that they didn't mess up.

SO SO SO SO PROUD OF WONDER GIRLS. They're seriously the only girl group who really grew up so much in terms of musicality and individuality. They really strayed away from mainstream girl group songs. It feels like I've gotten to know Wonder Girls more intimately after they've created and made their own music and sound. Soar even higher, Wonder Girls.
i close my eyes and the music takes me back to the 80's. Yubin is starting to relax more behind the drums. Talent can not be taught. Yoe either got it or you don't. i remember the 1st time I seen her. It was in the video " So Hot ' She was laying by the pool. Now look at her. Her Father must be very proud of her.
to be honest most groups have what Wonder Girls have ,but one thing that is noticeably missing in most groups is PASSION FOR MUSIC which is the back bone to the Wonder Girls ,not money ,not fame, not winning every single show ,
if what they deliver has quality (regardless to quantity which seems to be the trend these days) then it will be recognized sooner or later ,like 2015 they released I Feel You which made an ALL KILL ,but not a single win (amazing how that worked) , others release 3 or more songs and they win week after week after week
and then comes the end of the year where the music critics got to say and release their own list of high quality music (wither k-pop or international) and the ones that kept winning, their songs and albums are not even close to the top 5 and some didn't even get close to the top 30 !!! ,BUT guess where are the Wonder Girls are ,as always No.1

i think most korean voters prefer quantity over quality. they always go after the youngest, the cutest and the most most pop sound. afterall korean netizens are somewhat crazy and unpredictable. we cant do anything abt it but yes its the sad reality in that country

Wow I've never thought that seeing a band on a live performance will bring me hapiness. I missed Wonder Girls so muuuuch... They're the only ones I've followed since I've discovered K-Pop, I wasn't that atracted by the other groups anyway. Always waiting for a possible comeback... I'm just feeling so good, so glad to see them and so excited.
The instruments fit them very well, they're so classy with it. I wish more TV Shows allowed them to practice their instrument in live ! It's pretty rare I think :)

Every time I come back to this video and listen to Nobody it makes me want to cry. These girls went through so much. Lineup changes, long promotions outside of Korea, concept changes. They came a long way and I appreciate them. They introduced me to Kpop and I can't imagine Kpop without them. I miss you ❤

since 2012 snsd has kept itself relevant by being consistent with comebacks about once a year in korea. Wonder girls really weren't consistent because first they were abroad in the states, then from 2012- 1015 there was not group activities. 3 years is a lot in the industry, groups can go from irrelevant to top stars (sistar and EXID). and the other way around, top groups can decline in standing. it's not "unfair" because snsd puts in effort too that can't be overlooked. the only thing unfair is that JYP managed the wonder girls poorly, so they lost some relevance.

I don't even know Korean, yet I sing along with all these songs. "Tell Me" was the first K-Pop song I ever listened to, Wonder Girls were a great band, even though they went though a lot of changes. I thought that Tell Me, and Nobody were songs from the '90's because the original Wonder Girls, just how they dressed and stuff gave me 90's girl group vibes!
Reboot remains a legendary album in Kpop, no album in the last four years was as good as it.
