    I would actually cry if my ipad got stolen he’s so calm at least and take precaution just in case his personal information got leaked out. the fact that he already order new ipad just make me realised how broke I am lol 😭

    It was really fortunate that no personal information got into that driver's hands at least. Gotta look at the bright side and be happy that most of that can be replaced and not have that much of. a hassle. Thank god he had his wallet on him and please never leave anything behind in a cab. Not even to do a quick mailbox drop. Even cab drivers can be sneaky and like he said make sure to always have your wallet on you at least. Recovering legal documents is a problem no matter where you are.

    I find it surreal to even think about leaving my things inside a taxi while I go somewhere else. Japan is really different man. But anyway, I’m glad he didn’t have his phone or personal stuff stolen as well

    I'm truly grateful for the translation! I never would have known what happened if not for this
    He said the ring was super cheap but that was probably only in his standard, there's no way it's cheAp. I also bought a 'cheap' ring and it's been with me for several years now, I would probably be sentimental if U lost it
    As always I enjoy when Kanae interacts with the viewers, I love his ideas

    I saw the clip in Japanese and didn't understand what Kanae-san's twitter post was. I guess he just forgot his bag in the taxi but didn't get it back. thanks for the translation

    I love how the bare minimum of taxis in Japan is that you can leave your bag with all your belongings in the vehicle, go out to buy something in the convenience store for 5 mins, and then come back with the taxi and bag still there
    But then I look at my country and laugh (?) that our bare minimum is that, if you leave your bag in the taxi and it actually got returned to you, it would reach local and/or national news wwwww

    I remember one time when I had to go have smaller bills for the fare, I left my whole PC inside the cab for combini like 5 mins? The driver's kinda nice but when I told my mom about it she's kinda furious that I should be thankful the driver is a honest person. Just one everyone can't be like that. We should still be careful

    Didn't expect for that to happen, especially with taxi drivers in Japan, since they look so prestigious. But at the end of the day they're still human
    Ero kindle, oh no. Not the Kanae's lewds xD
    Yeah it sucks to lose your ID. But Kanae is so positive, he already looking forward for buying new bag. I wish I can be positive like him!
    I still hope they will catch the cab driver and retrieve Kanae's items

      Seems like he had to make a stop in the middle of the way to his destination, so maybe he left his bag to ensure the cab driver that he wouldn't just dash and never return. But the one who dashed was the freaking cab.😤

      Japanese people have a habit of leaving their own personal belongings behind in order to gain the trust of others.
      In this case, Kanae left his bag behind when she left the cab for a few minutes, meaning that she would not run away without paying.
      Because no one leaves their personal belongings behind and runs away, right?

    And here i thought JP overall is an honest country with all the hidden cameras/ social experiment I've watched before. I guess this is just an isolate case? Or pure bad luck with the taxi driver he took 😥 Well im glad at the end of the day he's safe and so his personal info

    • @hoecheng3633

      Ohhhh no no no no no please don't keep that mindset about Japan. Well, technically it is one of the most honest well mannered country but for some part of the cities around the country, you really have to be extra cautious of strangers and unseen villain. You could just having a normal daily walk in the certain street when you suddenly get stab. I think this actually applies to all the other country too tbh but foreigners often lowering their guard too much in Japan.

  • @MizuNyan108
    @MizuNyan108 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    It's probably normal for them to leave things behind since their country is considered as a safe one, but for countries like whr I live there is no way am I going to leave my bag or any valuable belongs out in public when I'm alone & even between friends I will definitely hold my bag everywhr I go. No matter how safe a country is I just can't do tht due to a habit as well as brainwashed by these thieves stealing people's bag in our country. So, no matter what don't leave your belongings alone. Take them with u even if it's troublesome or heavy. :')

    Sorry for out of topic, but I'm still learn Japanese, so this kinda translation video really really help me.. :')
    I just wanna ask, he said 'naeta' which litterally means 'cried' right?
    But in the translation it say 'it's suck' or ' it let me down'
    So naeta's meaning can be tonned down depends on the context?
    Thankyou so much if someone answer this... :'))

    • @anacchi2468
      @anacchi2468 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's a different kanji. Crying is 泣いた (naita) but what Kanae said was 萎えた (naeta) which means like "I felt down because of this", just like in the video. It's a bit hard to explain but I hope this helps!
