Hi 👋🏻 Gary. Once again, Hank is wearing a very fashionable Hand•Made by Gary original. You have a beautiful talent in celebrating all types of yarn fibers, giving it a beautiful introduction to your creations. It's inspiring to see you highlight the diversity of the yarn...❣️💕❣️
The scarf you made is beautiful and the hat you are working on is a wonderful pattern. The scarf you are wearing is very pretty too. You always have beautiful items on your needles or hook. The colors you put together for a project are always lovely. 🧶💜🙏🏻
Thank you kindly Kathy. Colour work is sometimes not the intention - it's because I don't have enough of the same colour and I have to be creative. This aspect of yarn play has now become a welcomed process and I get so much fun out of it.
My goodness, even the pieces where you point out "issues" are outstandingly gorgeous. What beautiful garments as always. I am also amazed at how much you get done. Lovely work as usual and brilliant use of colors.
Hi Ruby - you are too kind. I do need to step back from the work and not get too focused where there is a blip... LOL! That being written, I am instantly relieved of all concerns as soon as the item is finished and is worn. It's the strangest of things.
Hi Gary, once again you have crafted such amazing projects. The scarf from your friend is beautiful. Amazing happy mail too!Oh my gracious the first time I ever petted a turkey I was amazed at how super soft they are.🦃 Take care.😊🧶❤️
Always love catching up with you and seeing what comes out of your hands! You have such a way to combine colors and textures and match them to projects that I would never consider! I always feel like I learn something from your perspective! Thank you, Gary, for another wonderful video!
Hi Mary - thank you so kindly for leaving me this message. I'm so encouraged and humbled by this. I hope you are enjoying you November and gearing up for the Holidays.
Once again some beautiful projects. You do such lovely work. Thanks for your very kind words. I am just so happy that you enjoyed the yarn. (Yes it is a magnet).🥰
I have to agree - we did have a wonderful holiday over Thanksgiving. Hope you are also having a fun November and if there's celebrations you'll be attending, that they are also filled with joy.
Yay! Holiday gift making. It's the best. I've started already because there's a lot of people who live far away and I need to make sure I post them early.
Hi Gary! Playing catch up on videos I’ve missed…again. 🤣 I loved all your makes and WiPs as usual. Thanks for sharing your MALs with us! They’re beautiful. 🤗🧶
Good afternoon Gary. I literally can't get over how awesome you are. The work you do is completely amazingly gorgeous. Thank you for sharing the amazing projects you share with us here.
Hi, Gary, new here but blown away by your colour work and talent. That scarf is so perfect, beautiful tones that really reflect the mood board and then well defined stitches. Does Hank choose his own outfits? He looks snazzy as. As a fellow puppy owner, we have eight ranging in age from 16.5 yrs to 8 months (rescues and we have a lot of space), I think I neeeeeeeeeed to meet the puppy. I think your hubby would understand. Lol.
Gary! Love, love, love your #2 Mood Board Hat! When you first showed it I was sure it was Brioche! It is a stunning hat! And your Mosaic Vines shawl is stunning! I can totally see why you need quiet time when working on this!!!
Hello TheSableLou - I agree with you regarding the short row crochet hat looking like Brioche. I'm still learning the technique and struggling from time to time while I read the patterns, but I love it's opening up a new area for me to explore.
OMG, I totally forgot about that Brooklyn boys yarn... I made the "baby sophisticate" sweater out of it for my grandson!! Love the spiral bind-off better on the Clara, happy accident!! The needle stoppers are adorable! "Haystack" is to dye for!! 😉 I love the idea of the "pouches"... Your sister can make a fortune off those!!
Hi Gary !! Always a pleasure to see you. I kno I’ve said this many, many times but it’s the only word for your works. Whether it’s crochet or knitted they are absolutely STUNNING ! Love the color choices and combinations. ❤❤❤. Nice happy mail. The turkey is huge !
Happy Helloween 👻! I love Clara hat! I'm in hats and beanies now so tomorrow I will start with it, thank you! I need a break from sweaters and pullovers. 😅 I would say fair isle patterns require full concentration from me and sewing pieces together. Have a great weekend!
Hi Emese - It's hat season in the Northern Hemisphere. I hope you enjoy the break from sweater making. I sometimes like the smaller projects when trying new things. They're quick and can be frogged back to correct easily enough. I would be the same if I needed to sew pieces together - complete silence and shallow breathing... LOL!
Gary, your mood board scarf is lovely! I really need to figure out who my special other person will be. Sounds like you are having lots of fun, so glad to hear your Thanksgiving went so well.
Hellooo there Denise. I hope you've found your special someone. If not, then it can also reflect a group of people you have in your circle (maybe a group of family members - representing your mom or dad's sides, work colleagues, book club...etc.)
My full silence pattern was Sophie's Universe when I first started to crochet and I thought it would be a good way to learn stitches. My not-so-quiet autistic (i.e. full on all the time) bubbas were four and six. It took me six months. I still have her, she is beautiful but silence is a hard thing in real life. I made another one in a single colour a year ago for a friend. It took three weeks. I may have improved. Or just gone deaf over the years of raising the noisiest boys. Lol. I loved that pattern so much and was so proud when it was done.
Right now!😂 A raglan top that has increases in the yolk and I had finished it once but it lookdd like a poncho with batwing sleeves. Tore it out almost completely and trying a smaller size🤞
Hi Mariene - I have also felt that pain. It will come out better the second time and (not that you asked for the extra work) but you are achieving great patience.
WOW! Emme, on of my first cassettes I had was the John Cougar Mellencamp one. Arhh - you're the same as me with new projects and learns - we need silence to focus.
I can't wait to see your very large nature's walk bed blanket. Will Pixel be sleeping on it?😮. Also looking forward to that next blanket project. Take care
Hello the scarf pattern is in the description box below the video. If you're not sure how to find it the pattern is called Dreamy Waves Scarf and it's a pattern on either Knit Picks website or Ravelry.
Happy accident with the swirl. I'm working on 2 projects that require a lot of attention - brioche shawl/scarf (not the garter stitch sections 😅) and colourwork mittens. Since it is my third attempt at the brioche item, i put it down the instant i get frustrated. Only a few more rows of the second of 2 brioche sections. Yeah! I added a few extra stitches at the end so it's not too noticable and won't affect the next garter section. Right now there are 5 lifelines in place because in my last attempt, a lifeline held a dropped stitch in place and then disaster struck when i smoothed it out after the line was removed! I need to find a good tutorial on how to fix brioche mistakes. Sounds like some great events out your way. Love comedians. Last year we went to Danny Bhoy and in April we are going to see Sarah Millican. Didn't know she was coming to town so we are not even sitting together.
Hello Valerie! I know exactly what you are describing with the type of cautionary measures you took with the brioche piece. How frustrating with the drop stitch. I have once cut the yarn on a dropped stitch and completed the stitch loop (where it should have linked) and tied it back together. Lucky for me it was a wool fibre and blocked out nicely).
@urbanyarn finally finished and weirdly enough... I cast on the matching hat the next day. Glutton for punishment? Reworked the cast on 3 times then finally got into it. Finished it 4 days! Dropped a stitch here and there but it was at an easy section so fixed without too much cursing and hair pulling. Next up is Tollow's highway cowl + hat however I've got a few Christmas gift accessories to knit up.
Yay! Lynanne I did see the video just recently of the mood board and the quick change taking out the people. I love your make and cannot wait to get your photos. This slideshow is going to be mind blowing.
Hi Gary, I love the swirl on the hat, best accident 😊. The scarf is gorgeous, and the colors blend beautifully. Just sent such gorgeous yarn, I really love the color. You sisters sachet bags are cool, functional and pretty scents. Great video. Have a great day and keep enjoying life 😊🧡💛

Thank you so kindly Aidasoto! You've always been so supportive and encouraging!
Hey, Gary! It is a beautiful fall day to crochet here in North Carolina. 😊
Yay! Fall days and colours are so wonderful. Enjoy your crocheting.
You should trim the sample piece for the hat with gold sparkle and maybe little knots of the color to decorate as a tree for an ornament. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Beautiful work.. 💙🤎
The scarf you are wearing looks to be crocheted in the arrow stitch. Very nice!
Hi Harpgirl - I think you might be right. It's a beautiful textured stitch!
Happy Helloween 👻! I love Clara hat! I'm in hats and beanies now so tomorrow I will start with it, thank you! I need a break from sweaters and pullovers. 😅

Love all your makes, I may have to snag that ivy hat pattern so beautiful!
Hi Janice - the Ivy hat pattern taught me so much. I know that you'd love it!
That is stunnin the person will be floored with joy I am sure, you are amazing dear friend.
Thank you Cherul-ly! I have a feeling that the gift will be a hit.
Great match with your mood board. I used Mandala Warlock for my mood board shawl. I like drapey projects and mainly use DK or thinner.
I see that working in with the second mood board I featured - I do like the Warlock colour way!
Love it all.
Thanks Laura!

LOL! I know the experience with little ones making noise. We have two fabulous nieces.
Great video!!!
Thank you!!
The mandala madness blanket is my must concentrate pattern.
Oooh Joanne - I'm going to have to look up that pattern!
@urbanyarn it's by Helen shrimping I believe. " it's all in a nut shell" has a great 18 part tutorial!!!
@@JOanneAnnese - Wow!
Hi Gary 😊

@urbanyarn thank you!!! I really do think it's helping with my patience. I am normally verrryyyy impatient. Age may be helping with that too
I have a friend in a John Mellencamp band. Most new projects require silence for me:)
Take care
Hi Stacy - I occasionally catch Pixel on the bed. I think that when the Natures Walk blanket gets used we will have to close our bedroom door... LOL!
Hi Gary! I think Hobbii is selling out the Dolce Kashmir. What I understod they will stop selling it.
Love the scarf and colors. I would like the pattern or where to get the pattern

Hello
hello
Why crochet hook are you using?
There are many types of crochet hooks that I like using - predominantly they are some type of Susan Bates.
Hi Gary, I love the swirl on the hat, best accident 😊. The scarf is gorgeous, and the colors blend beautifully. Just sent such gorgeous yarn, I really love the color. You sisters sachet bags are cool, functional and pretty scents. Great video. Have a great day and keep enjoying life 😊🧡💛
Hello Lisa! Thank you for watching and leaving a sweet message. I love the happy mail I received and feel very spoiled.
@urbanyarn . Sorry for my poor typing. I hope it made sense 😅
