This rare gem shows what it's actually going to be like if I do this myself. It's not just the service manual in video form with some extra helpful tips. I can do this!
the plastic see through coolant reservoir is on the right side inside the removable plastic body panel cover directly below the seat.....thats how I check and fill it.
I’ve found it since this video came out to make sure everything was correct. Thanks though. This isn’t really a how too channel. More of a watch me figure it out haha.
Hi, hey so all cool vids man been watching for years , bought my 98' V4 in 2014 . I'm wondering how you got the clutch brake arm to go down into casing we let it come out too .? thanks ..I thought you were Do It With Dan lol..You have the same tank , did u get idea from him ? We just changed anti freeze on my bike , pLugs , cARBS, idle needles , and I need to deliver this to my 88 yr old friend Lee , lol dudes 5'4 at best . lol I can't get this clutch arm back in right for the life of me lol. Thanks for the info :) . YOuR BIKes LOOKING Great too :)
I really appreciate it, and yeah took some inspiration from him on the tank. I plan on painting it something different this year, still want to keep it black and white though. As for the clutch arm, I recommend motosport.com I use them for detailed diagrams of every part of these bikes. They’re incredibly useful, best of luck!
Oh cool sounds great man , Mines yellow/ round magna decal w/ black fender ghost flames .....So I got the top arm w/ the spring to go in right after I pulled the pin in the rear of casing , buit my son put it back on and I can get any clutch to work ,, any advice was working fine beforewe replaced the fluids ,, I seen vid where the pin sleeve in the back hasto slip over the arm stud sticking out of the motor ,, he must not have it in there right ..
Thanks for the vid it gave me the confidence to get the same done on my 94. Love the white walls too what size/brand are they? Need any mods to fit? Thanks and stay safe out there brother 🤙
Thanks man the channel is a lot of figuring thing out on my own, and there Shinko 777 white walls. The only issue is the front tires are a little tall and the front fender will rub ever so slightly. But other than that, they’re good for casual riding but not long distance I’d get Michelin otherwise.
You’re not telling me you’d trust 20 year old coolant that sat still for that long. I’d rather know that what’s in there is new. Also when we riding again?
@@grimsventure4439 No, I'm saying I would have flushed it before putting the new coolant in because of how paranoid I am. Say when and I'm ready to go.

Thanks love the video. Will use the info for my 95 Magna
Thanks, hope you have better luck than me . Haha

Haha thanks so much for posting this man! I laughed pretty hard when the coolant shot out at you. Was not expecting that either!
Thanks, these are fun to make. Working on another right now, but work and doing all the editing from my phone takes me a bit.
Hello, maybe it is not necessary to change all the liquid ?
thanks for showing all the particular difficulties involved.. LOL
Wouldn’t know what “not” to do till I do it myself, haha.

That punch to the camera was damn near a jump scare
Post more maintenance videos! They are great.
I have another coming hopefully Saturday night. Once I get the bike road worthy again I’ll be post more.
Hey that’s a great video, you got the job done, I learned how to do the job, and I got a good laugh!! Perfect
So the coolant reservoir on the side doesn’t need to be touched? Just pour the liquid in the radiator
Check the radiator after letting the bike run a minute. Top the radiator off. Then let it run again and fill the reservoir as needed 👍.

@@grimsventure4439 awesome thanks for the insight I really appreciate it man
Why do a flush when you can just put in the new coolant? 🤣

@@andrewwhite9236 na I’m sure it’s fine.
Also I kind of have an update for December video coming soon. Want to improve my progress with the channel.
“Good three oofs and it’s on there tight. Let’s call that spec.” Is this bike still alive? Or has it blown up lol
Not running but not blown up lol
Rekn it's the same for the 250 magna
I was a actually trying to find a 250 magna as a street fighter project. They’re almost impossible to find here in the states.
Is that the Magna 750 man?
It’s absolutely is.
@@grimsventure4439 Beautiful bro
Much appreciated. A fuel line broke on it yesterday, so I have another video to make I guess haha. Painting the tank is next as well.
@@grimsventure4439 I'm buying one Saturday so I hope to get it looking nice too.
One of my favorite bikes. FYI no fuel gauge. And millage is around 100-120 mpg.
