Awesome video and awesome tone! Ive been dying to get my hand on a couple Tonex’s. Those captures are great! I too have a protein, and it covers so much ground. Thanks for sharing the board!
Nice board! I still try to figure out what people are talking about when they say with fractal they would tweak endlessly. Have no idea. My amp on FM3 is set the same for at least 3 years. As for the effects it is the same: set once and forget about it. I get it that everyones approach is subjective, just don't get the reasons behind the move.
For me, with fractal, i would always hit a CPU limit and then have to compensate or compermise somewhere else on my effects chain. I like to have everything i use on one preset right in front me. Still FM3 and FM9 are grest units! No doubt!
The only reason I am looking to move away from FM9 is that I don’t like how the modeled amps take reverb and delay before the amp once gain you introduce gain. Doesn’t sizzle the right way to my ears.
You are absolutely right! Same problem for me and then i felt the drives were not that great. The levels on them for gain stacking was all over the place for me.
Today is my first rehearsal for our worship team. Im so nervous. I dont have a packed pedal board like this. Just an amp and a guitar. Im using a katanaMKII 100w amp. And a telecaster guitar and a fender acoustic. Any advice for what pedal i should buy first to help reach that worship tone? Edit: i got saved about 3 weeks ago, coming from a rock n roll band that played everything from heavy metal to soft rock.
Firstly i would say, you got this! Secondly, that’s a great background to come from as I was the same way. Practically with your gear, i would just use the Katana’ s clean setting but adjust the gain accordingly to an edge of break up sound. Not fully overdriven, to start you off. For the fx a little room reverb or spring goes a long away and if you can do some sort of slap back tape delay setting on it, you should be good to go to get you by! For pedals i would probably start with some multi all in one pedal to go into the amp you have. A line 6 HX effects is a great all in one solution to start you off. Hope that all helps!!
Im not fully sure myself honestly. To me, it just says the gear and sounds being used are aimed towards worship environments vs something else like country or metal.
“Worship” in this context just means the contemporary Christian worship music genre. When people say “worship guitar” or “worship pedalboard” it means they play for their church and they are talking about the gear they use for the genre/style of music used in modern worship music (bethel, Hillsong, phill Wickham, Cain, elevation, etc.)
Minute 6:55 song is typical by mutemath one of my favorite bands 🔥

Do it! ToneXs are so great for the digital amp solution.
Love the tones you are getting from that board! It looks pretty inspiring to play
Appreciate the shout out brother!! This is a great board!! 🙌🏼
Awesome board! I like the midi pages you have setup for the TimeLine. I need to make some pages like that on my Bridge 4.
Woww.Nice playing. And i like all the little details.Thx for sharing.Should do a vid on how to set up the midi😉
Awesome board dude!

I still don't understand the Tonex x2....don't they have midi, so you can change your amp model instead have having 2?
For Stereo amps at all times. Plus you cant take a stereo wet effect into just one toneX pedal
Can you share the big sky settings for the blue 1-3
Great board! Is there a specific reason for putting the volume pedal after the drive section instead of at the beginning of the chain? Just curious!
To control the volume. Distortion can be controlled with the guitar's volume.
do you have any phase issues using 2 tonex? i've seen that you need a special DI box with phase inversion in order to make them sound right
Not with these captures, they are in phase thankfully. Just depends on the captures you use.
Great board! ✨ Have you gotten any phase issues using different amps, or have you landed on 2 ”vox” style amps because of this reason?
@@benjaminkoskinen5835 No phase issues, with Tone Shepards captures, he makes sure they are all in phase.
This is a great board. Does the Bridge 6 also do MIDI clock?
It sure can!

@@hairman49er I am going to try stereo tonex in FX loop of fm9 before completely going back to an individual pedal with midi setup.
Doesn’t that midi unit have two clocks internally ??

Hi just trying to understand, what amp do you actually use then if you have amp modelers? Like st church do you have actual amps as well?
No amps anywhere. The ToneXs act as the amp and cab for me and then everything goes XLR to Front of House.
What chorus type do you use in the Mobius? Multi, digital or the other one I’m forgetting the name of right now lol
Chorus is Multi and Vibrato is Vibrato 😊
Worshipful pick up change as well … great set up rediculous connections to where you play
I really like my pedalboard, but I would not go as far as saying I worship it 🤣
💩💩
What does "Worship" have to do with anything? I never understood this adjective when used in the context of musical equipment.

its just the edges tone used for jesus
I think it's a genre for protestant churches. Reverb with a lot of decay
Either that, or they worship the pedalboard 😂
What is it about awful contemporary Christian music that you need 6k worth of delay and reverb pedals?
How Can I make my pedalboard sound even more holy than this?
