@careervidz could you please help me in preparing a questionnaire for my research on the topic A study on the psycho social problems faced by Fire and Rescue Workers
Richard- got the job from my local fire department, I start the 24th!!! Full time at last and it feels great!! I credit just about all my success in the psych evaluation to your video. Many thanks, and continue on spreading the good word. If there’s anyway I could help or even share your information I will try! This will be a little unnatural to me lol, but Cheers!
Kudos for the Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you ever tried - Rozardner Lucky Interview Reality (probably on Google)? It is a smashing one off product for firefighter interview tips without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my cooworker at very last got cool success with it.
Q11: I disagree. I will take any help or advice I can get. I constantly want to learn and seek out different ways on how to do things. Q12: I strongly disagree. Firefighting is a diverse profession and there are many very capable women that share the same passion and drive in their career. Q13: Strongly Disagree. Firefighters are held to a high level of professionalism. You also don't want to risk upsetting any of your coworkers. Thank you for posting this and I look forward to hearing back from you!
11.) Disagree - I take constructive criticism well however I won't be able to receive it if it is not delivered well. 12.) Disagree - I don't think that firefighting is just a man's job because whomever is a firefighter has proved themselves worthy of being one. 13.) Disagree - I don't believe having strong language is acceptable because it doesn't create the respect necessary to build a healthy environment to work in.
Q11. Disagree. Constructive criticism helps us to grow and learn which is very important in the fire service. Q12. Strongly disagree. The fire service is a very diverse workplace and if someone is fit to do job they shouldn’t be able to do it because of gender. Q13. Disagree. The workplace should always be kept professional. Brilliant video, Richard! Very helpful and informative.
Great Sir I cant believe you are doing fantastic job Here in india fire fighters are getting the job having low education but in UK and after listening your lectures feels the real differance b/w devoloped and devoloping nations We are still falls in worst devoloping country
Q11 - Disagree, no one is ever perfect and we can always improve. On station you may have some really experienced people who you could learn lots from so being open to take constructive criticism is really important so we can better ourselves. Q12 - Strongly Disagree - Diversity in the fire service is really important. Anyone can do the job whether it be a woman, man, someone from an ethnic background. It's really important to be inclusive and everyone should have a fair chance at doing the job. As a firefighter it's important to be able to work with others as well as being committed to diversity and inclusion. Q13 - Strongly Disagree - You're in the public eye as a firefighter and when using strong language it comes across as being unprofessional and it can also come across as you're not able to control your emotions in stressful situations if caught using strong language and shouting on the incident ground.
12 disagree. After working in trades for work, I've seen how the most "tough" & "strong" women fold under pressure that most others have learned to deal with regularly.
@@CareerVidz Surely for answer 13 it could be neither agree nor disagree? It is situational right? Depending on the situation if lives are at risk then sometimes strong language can be used. Strong language does not necessary mean abusive or offensive language? If someone is taking charge of a job then it can be needed to ensure people are performing tasks efficiently?
11. Disagree - I believe that you can learn anything from anyone and keeping an open mind only helps you improve, which in turn benefits you, the service and the safety of the public. 12. Strongly disagree - women have been just as affective as men and more so in some cases. 13. Strongly disagree - I believe it is not acceptable to use strong language in or out of the work place, especially when you are not only representing yourself. By doing so you prove that you are not considerate of others.
11) Disagree - constructive criticism is a opportunity to improve 12) Strongly Disagree - as a team we will have trained the same and had similar if not more experience gender doesn’t matter 13) Disagree - Firefighters are role models and operate with the public. Professionalism must be upheld as you are representing the whole fire service, your community station and your team
11. disagree - commitment to development 12. strongly disagree - I'm a female firefighter, but also we should striving for diversity and integrity 13. strongly disagree - commitment to excellence and being professional! Thanks!
Great answers, Rebecca :) I'm pleased you enjoyed it and found the content useful. If you are applying at any stage to become a firefighter, check out my book which covers all of the selection process here: www.how2become.com/careers/firefighter/ Have a great week, Richard
1. Disagree, even though I’m a paramedic I still have a lot to learn. 2. Strongly disagreed. Can’t judge a book by its cover. Women and men could both equally be affective in the service. 3. I actually would put neither agree nor disagree. Mainly because I believe people give words power. I neither agree because I understand working for the service makes me an example to others. And I disagree because those words don’t affect my work/ I don’t mind if others use them. Not what’s important in my mind.
So quick question when it comes to yourself it seem like you would either put agree or disagree but when it comes to the job strongly agree or disagree ?
Q11) Disagree - I believe its a good characteristic as to be able to take criticism is to learn and better improve yourself. Q12) Strongly disagree - I worked a season as a wildland firefighter in BC and i've seen some some amazing people regardless of their gender, skin colour or religion carry out inspiring work. Q13) Disagree - I feel that its unprofessional and unacceptable as you're be a role model to the community. Great video, very informing and easy to understand. Thanks!
Q11: Disagree, Being able to adapt and grow is important in any situation. If another is giving you beneficial advice ( constructive criticism) its imperative that you apply it as a learning experience. Q12: Strongly disagree: Firefighting is a Tough job and it takes a tough person to do it. Women are just as capable to excel in a tough situation as any man is. Q13: Disagree , While at the work place, and as a firefighter, you're representing no longer just yourself, but the department you work for. You must exhibit their values, principles, and morals at all times.
11. Strongly disagree - Constructive criticism is vital for personal development. I actively seek out constructive criticism as it is great tool to better ones self. 12. Strongly disagree - An individual's abilities and skills are not limited by their gender. 13. Disagree - Firefighters have a standard to maintain and lots people look up to them as a position of authority. You can communicate without using bad language and it is not needed to communicate effectively. Using foul language is a sign of unprofessionalism and an inability control ones emotions.
Thank you for this great video. I passed my Behavioural question test with a score of 82% (above average). Your video really helped. I thought about my answers and answered honestly. I have the verbal reasoning and numeracy tests next. Do you have a video to help with them? Thanks again. 😊
Q11 I Disagree because I believe Accepting constructive criticism is Good and It would. Help To identify what my mistakes are. and I would learn from them and become better at my job.
11-disagree because accepting criticism is a good thing so that you improve next time 12 strongly disagree -a firefighter is a job for anyone not just men 13-disagree no one should swear in the work place
Q11 disagree - I like to know how I can improve and make things better next time. Learning new/better/correct ways is key to growth and development and taking advice from somebody more skilled and knowledgeable than myself is always going to be beneficial. Q12 disagree - I believe that men and women carry similar yet different attributes. There are sometimes physical / logical / emotional differences however non of these attributes should be considered greater or lesser from either gender. Men and women and both powerful and this should be respected from either side. Q13 neither agree or disagree. Everybody is capable of swearing whether in a lighthearted or offence manner. As long as the language is never used in a derogatory way towards a colleague of member of the public then it would be acceptable in the right environment
Question 11 answer- disagree. Rationale- If someone has taken the time to offer a critique about something that can be done more efficiently or with a better outcome it will only improve my skill set or at least I will have an opportunity to train or share why my way is better.
Q11. Agree - knowing I need something to be changed and accepting that fact in the moment are two very different things. I am not the best at taking constructive criticism but I do work on it. Q12. Disagree- Gender should not be a deciding factor as long as the person can uphold the standard and do what is required of them Q13 disagree- I believe it is unprofessional and should not be used around superiors, guests, the public, etc. But i see little harm in it if you're okay with the possibility of negative reflection upon yourself.
11. Disagree. As a firefighter, you should always accept constructive criticism to better yourself. 12. Disagree. As a firefighter, it does not matter if you are a man or woman. Everybody has there strong points and week points. 13. Neither agree or disagree. I work in a firehouse that uses strong language when appropriate, but if not appropriate, I would not use strong language.
One of the real tests asks you to rate a range of statements in relation to your typical behaviour at work. I ended up agreeing to having my work checked to see if it is correct, i'm pretty sure that is a wrong answer as the PQA's include: "Completes work as instructed without being checked constantly".
11. Disagree ( accepting criticism helps you learn and grow. 12. Strongly disagree (accepting diversity is big in the fire service. 13. Disagree ( maintain professionalism)
11.Strongly Disagree i always try to improve with others criticism as long as its constructive 12.Strongly Disagree a woman has to try just as hard to earn their spot just as everyone else 13.Disagree it isn't appropriate and as a role model i should strive to be professional
11. Disagree - I understand the importance of constructive feedback and the growth opportunities it presents me with 12. Strongly disagree - men and women are equally capable and diversity within a team makes for a stronger one in my opinion 13. Disagree - strong language may negativity impact the strength and clarity of the message - it’s not necessary
Q11. Disagree. If I can’t accept constructive criticism, then I can’t learn and grow in the tasks I am performing. There is always more to learn and ways to improve. I love discussing these and applying what I’ve learned or been able to teach someone else.
13) disagree because although your all adults you are still providing a service to the public and the way you speak will impact on the trusty and support of the public and it is also not professional
Question 11: Strongly Disagree. I disagree because constructive criticism helps the individual realize his/her mistakes. This also helps the team to be more efficient and creates a stronger bond within the team. Question 12: Strongly Disagree. Women play a critical role in any teaminf any industry. the skill sets and intellect of a womanares different from a man and is will have different method to solve any problem. Therefore, it is important to have a woman in the team. Question 13: Neither agree nor disagree. Using strong language can be used in any context. If it is being used for a good cause or to create pressure for getting the job done then it is not a bad thing.
Q11. Disagree, working as a team requires constructive criticism to become stronger Q12. Disagree, woman can be just as strong as men and visa versa. Q13. Strongly Disagree, firefighters are looked up to as a community builders, someone safe. Hard language can detour individuals from feeling comfortable coming up to you for help.
11. Disagree - constructive criticism is an essential element to self improvement. 12. Strongly Disagree - Anybody who can pass the selection tests is perfect for the job. 13. Disagree - while I'm not going to be personally offended by a few F's & C's as a professional, uniformed occupation it would reflect terribly if overheard by members of the public on the service as a whole.
Q.13 disagree as strong language could escalate situations and I believe in the fire service you need to be able to remain calm and if strong language is being used this can cause frustration within the team
Q11 - Strongly disagree - As a recruited firefighter, you have to be able to be criticized and learn so much. That starts by you being humble and learning from the leaders around you, this will involve constructive criticism
11. Disagree - I disagree with this statement because I believe constructive criticism is helpful to identify and improve weaknesses. I think it’s important to always find opportunities to develop. 12. Completely disagree - I believe that Firefighting like many other roles can be carried out by people of different genders and background, as we are all capable of performing the duties to the required standards. 13. Disagree - I disagree with this statement as strong language could offend colleagues in the workplace and have a negative effect on the working relationship. Also, as you’re representing the service, the use of strong language can effect the integrity.
NICE Watch this video too: th-cam.com/video/wexzvClUcUk/w-d-xo.html Please would you subscribe to my channel? Thank you very much for your support! 😊 🙏
Q13 - disagree - whilst with the pressure and time restraints, bad language may be used. But where possible it is important to keep your cool and remain professional.
Q11. Disagree - There are always opportunities to learn and better our understanding. I've worked throughout the world in challenging situations and often called in to manage a task that the previous expat had not handled well - typically from not accepting local advice/best practice with consideration to local conditions. That is not say we wait to be told - but heads up, observe and listen. Q12. Disagree - It is clear from countless Fire Service studies that the community aspect of the Service is paramount. Surely the fire service should reflect the community in which it operates and works. Todays Fire and Rescue Service is equally about prevention and that is actively achieved by education. We cross the line as a team. Why do I not strongly disagree? I do not see this as a political matter. Join, don't join - male and female. Q13. Strongly disagree - Quite simply, it's offensive. We are in a position of authority, we are assisting vulnerable people and let's not forget, we are also vulnerable. We must maintain the higher ground and respect each other in the workplace, be that in a training environment or attending an incident. We also need the support of the public and if we conduct ourselves professionally, we are more likely to receive it.
Q11. I disagree. It is very important to accept criticism in my opinion. By allowing and listening to criticism you could do some things better and more efficient than before. Its alway good to allow and listen to feedback. It gives you some things to think about and allows for improvement. Q12. Strongly disagree. Anyone and everyone who is capable and determined to help and do firefighter deeds and service should be given the opportunity. You must be open to a lot of things. Plenty of women and men who deserve opportunity. Q13. Disagree. You should always keep from using strong/foul language in various situations. There is no need. Best to communicate in a respectful manner
11) Strongly disagree. There is always room for improvement, and we must reflect our willingness to change for the better. 12) Disagree. There should be no discrimination of the sexes. Anyone can do the job as long as they meet the standard like everyone else. The fire service is also huge on diversity, so we must abide by that. 13) Strongly disagree. Be firm and confident in your speech, but never misrepresent your department by using foul language. Where can we find more of these practice questions? I took my test about a month ago and I'm pretty sure I messed it up. I could use the extra practice for future tests
I want guidance for police constable behavioral questionnaire, I attempted twice but I have failed so i need to understand and I also want to go through revision questionnaire
Q11 I disagree as constructive criticism is another persons view on an activity they may have already done, and they may have found a more productive way to execute that activity that I may not of thought of
11. Disagree- I think accepting criticism from others is a big reason for how we learn in the fire department. Different people have different strengths and weaknesses, and we have to be able to learn from one another in order to become more well rounded firefighters ourselves, can't do that if you take anything someone tells you personally, instead of a learning opportunity. 12. Strongly disagree- I believe that if a person works hard, has the correct personality traits, and stays in great physical condition, it doesn't matter what gender you are. Saying it's a man's job is very close minded, and we have to be open to diversity and change in the fire service. 13. Disagree- I believe using strong language does nothing but intensify a situation. We have to respect each other and work together, that mean's communicating with each other in a positive, productive, calm way.
Q13. Disagree. Strong language is not needed in the workplace nor elsewhere. To be able to effectively communicate with others you should be able to convey your message calmly without cursing or being derogatory. When you use these forms of strong language it shifts the rational conversation from a factual one to an emotive one in the parties involved.
11. Strongly disagree as constructive criticism can help me improve 12. Strongly disagree pqa is all about diversity and integrity + it's about who is capable 12. Strongly disagree as we need to be professional
Q11 Disagree, constructive criticism is good for service improvement, should be able to take it Q12 Disagree, Equality all the way Q13 Strongly agree, disrespectful to all who hear it
Q11:- I disagree, I'm open to criticism because it can change my perception of my actions potentially for the better, I could even learn something new or improve on my current knowledge. Q12:- strongly disagree. Having a diverse workforce/team can provide a vast range of skills, experiences, knowledge. And also highlight things that could have been over looked or missed. Q13:- Disagree. I understand that in some instances (military) its common. But its always best avoided due to offence and someone getting the wrong perception. Calling someone a profanity out of "banter" could be perceived as bullying or a disliking.
Hello, thank you for this videos and guide. In Q7. Don’t get me wrong I love rrr (recycling, re-use and reduce) I fix everything that I possibly can at home and work, but how do you fix something that’s not broken? Sorry if I’m being silly.
Don't be sorry... it's good to debate these things. It's not so much about fixing things that are not broken, it's about embracing change and understanding that change can bring positive things. Please would you SUBSCRIBE to my channel? I'd very much appreciate your support. Thank you! Richard 🙏
q13 disagree. This is dependant on where you are working or who you are working with. Public facing definitely not, but if having an opportunity to off load and reflect after a stressful day then yes swearing might be acceptable.
Great video thanks. Questions "If I've been unsuccessful at something, I try to forget about it." I would answer "agree" to that as I like to learn and improve from my mistakes but that question doesn't cover that. I don't get hung up on things that might not go my way I can still move onto another task and concentrate. Just wondering if agree would be along the correct lines for a pass answer? Many thanks. I'm going for my local village retained fire fighter role.
Perfect! That's great you are applying for the retained They do a great job! Good luck and make sure you check out my firefighter interview video: th-cam.com/video/txMuBFKCuWo/w-d-xo.html Please would you SUBSCRIBE to my channel? I'd very much appreciate your support. Thank you! Richard 🙏
Q12. Disagree. The most important attributes of a firefighter are a drive to make a difference in the community, help others, and the mental and physical aptitude to perform the tasks required.
How would you answer this question: In the past year how many days off have you taken from work for no reason. A. Never B. Once C twice D more than three
Q11- Disagree because it makes you better Q12- Disagree because it can also be a women's job too Q13- Strongly disagree because it is very unprofessional to swear
Q11 I disagree. I believe I do accept constructive criticism from others, as it will help me to improve myself as a person and my performance on the job
hi Richard 11. disagree - constructive criticism given can improve your ways of doing a task 12. strongly disagree - if a person meets the standards i.e fitness and mental standards. regardless of male of female it shouldn't matter 13. neither agree/disagree - I would say it depends on the occasion in the on a job its a defintate disagree as your representing the uniform you wear however inside the fire station among college's as long as it don't offend anyone in jest shouldn't be a problem
SURE... I will do that soon:www.how2become.com/careers/police-officer/ Please would you SUBSCRIBE to my channel? I'd very much appreciate your support. Thank you! Richard 🙏
11. Disagree- I would welcome constructive criticism from my colleagues. It would help me develop as a firefighter. Constructive criticism from those who are not firefighters (elderly, children etc) would also be welcome, I have learnt that you can be surprised by peoples observations, ideas opinions etc. 12. Strongly disagree- Anyone can be a firefighter, as long as you can pass the selection process then you are suitable. Women can think about situations differently & add an essential variety to a service & inspire other young women. I chose strongly Disagree because I know how much the fire service want to have a diverse work force 13. Disagree- I don't like swearing & use such words sparingly. I would not reflect well on the work force, especially if a member of the community overheard a conversation between colleagues using foul language, this would not help them feel at ease.
13 disagree . There will be moments where things slip out and that’s because we can’t be perfect but as a firefighter you have to maintain that professional and community friendly appearance . A clear and firm but appropriate way of speaking is best . If I’m on a fire call and I’m cussing up a storm and their are children close by that’s not a good way of leading well and being professional .
11. Disagree- only disagree because though I do welcome criticism i would not strongly agree that it is one of my strong points 12. Strongly disagree while i do see that their are physiological differences between men and women I believe both belong in the fire department 13. Disagree while I do not agree that is acceptable because we are in a professional setting i do realize that we are human and that sometimes an extreme situation can bring about strong language
Ha! You say that. Yet I failed the behavioural questionnaire!! Was in the Royal Marines as well. To those reading this, do not think it’s a guarantee, I’ve made that mistake :)
Q12. Strongly disagree. Firefighters are now very diverse and everyone has differences which should be treat fairly and equally no matter what the differences are
Q11. Strongly disagree. As a firefighter I need to be able take criticism and continue on with my job I must be able to review my actions and learn from my mistakes with out taking it personally or letting the criticism effect my performance in my role Q12 strongly disagree. The community the firebrigade serves is made up of men and woman from a number of different backgrounds. Firefighting is a role that promotes equality and diversity Men and woman should be treated equal and be appreciated for the individual skills men and woman can offer the service and community. The fire service should represent the community it serves by employing a diverse workforce with in the brigade Q13 strongly disagree, as a firefighter I am a role model to the community I serve. Strong language in the work place is totally unacceptable. I am responsible for maintaining the fire brigades reputation, I must show integrity and be respectful, dignified and remain professional at all times. Thank you
11) disagree. The word constructive means that it would be positive towards the change. And this may better my performance as a firefighter. It’s not strongly disagree because it’s not always nice to hear you’ve done something wrong because you may have tried hard on it and slightly upset with yourself or something. 12)strongly disagree. I believe diversity is good. It is not to say women aren’t as strong as men. Also a women may offer some different qualities that could help the situation as they bring a different view point. Disagree. I believe that you are representing the fire service and people can find strong language offensive.
Q11 Disagree. I have personally seen what constructive criticism can do. Not only for me, but others around me. Q12 Strongly disagree. I know women that have made great careers in the fire service, and don't feel like they are any different than the men I have worked with. Q13 Disagree. I don't think that it is appropriate in the eyes of the general public. I also understand that situations can get very stressful and words slide out. I think that as long as you can turn on your filter when needed, you're alright.
Q11: disagree. I have stronger points but it's not a weakness Q12: strongly disagree. Statistically probably yes but as open to women as it is men. Q13: Disagree. It's not appropriate although it will most likely be common.
Hi Richard Ive recently received a email informing me of being successful on the next stage of recruitment. I have my face to face behavioural assessment at the end of may and would your help if you are able to? This is something I’m taking very seriously and will do my best to pass Q11.. disagree I believe constructive criticism from others can help to see someone else’s view on a subject/task at hand and different opinions for the solution and growth of a person/ task Q12… strongly disagree The fire service is open to equality and change. Any person wanting to be a fire fighter is welcome To apply Q13… disagree, I believe practicing speaking in a well mannered way, is very important, educating yourself to speak in a respectful manner. Helps other to understand more clearly
Q11: disagree, I enjoy constructive advice Q12: strongly disagree, as long as a person is fit to do the job anyone can to do it Q13:disagree, Proffesional manor is key to the firefighting career.
Q.12 strongly disagree after working in the military and seeing females do the same job just as well to the high standard everyone is equal and should have the same equal opportunities
q11 strongly disagree. I am open to constructive criticism as I could improve the way I work l, whether it be more efficiently or safely. Also I could learn from the suggestions and develop within my role.
I disagree Being a person like myself who likes to get better and improve, constructive criticism isn’t something I shy away from. I embrace all challenges. I disagree Firefighting is a job for both men and women. Anyone who is brave enough to be a firefighter deserves an opportunity to make a positive impact in this world. I disagree Although we’re all grown there should be a limit for profanity because I’m sure everyone is smart enough to articulate themselves without cursing every other sentence.
Q11, disagree, as a new recruit working with experienced people everyday is a school day Q12, strongly disagree, it shouldn’t matter what sex you are Q13, disagree, swearing and using strong Language is not professional and you never know who’s watching or what words/phrases affend different people
11- disagree, I believe you can never learn enough about something. May be their way is safer more effient plus nobody is perfect 12- strongly disagree, personally I believe everyone has the right to prove if they are capable or not, if they can pass the tests then they shouldn't be penalised because of their gender. 13- strongly disagree, strong language as no place anywhere in society let alone in the work place
q12 strongly disagree. not sure this needs much of an explanation. If you have the ability to do the role through, training, learning, passion and more then it doesn't matter what sex you are.

12. Strongly disagree - women have been just as affective as men and more so in some cases.
13. Strongly disagree - I believe it is not acceptable to use strong language in or out of the work place, especially when you are not only representing yourself. By doing so you prove that you are not considerate of others.

12. Strongly disagree
13. Strongly disagree
Great job! Well done! Sure, this will help you: www.how2become.com/firefighter-tests-questions-answers/
Q11 I Disagree because I believe Accepting constructive criticism is Good and It would. Help To identify what my mistakes are. and I would learn from them and become better at my job.
11-disagree because accepting criticism is a good thing so that you improve next time
12 strongly disagree -a firefighter is a job for anyone not just men
13-disagree no one should swear in the work place

Q12. Disagree- Gender should not be a deciding factor as long as the person can uphold the standard and do what is required of them
Q13 disagree- I believe it is unprofessional and should not be used around superiors, guests, the public, etc.

13. Disagree - strong language may negativity impact the strength and clarity of the message - it’s not necessary
Well done... thanks for your answers.
Q11. Disagree, working as a team requires constructive criticism to become stronger
Q 12- Strongly disagree- I think firefighting should be diversified. From other cultures and genders, firefighting can be better.

Thanks and well done!

Strongly Dissagree

11. Disagree - feedback is a great way to learn - I welcome it.
Perfect :)
Thanks Joe - great answers to the firefighter test! Good luck :)

Q11 I disagree as constructive criticism is another persons view on an activity they may have already done, and they may have found a more productive way to execute that activity that I may not of thought of
Thank you sir
You're most welcome!
Q13 - Disagree. It is important to be professional when at work, regardless of the location you are in.
I agree! Great response.
Wouldn’t it be strongly disagree
Do you have a video for a police psychological exam?
Do you have a similar behavioural questionnaire video for policing?
Q11. Strongly Disagree.
Q. 12. Agree.
Q. 13. Strongly Disagree.
Q11 disagree because we are always learning and you have to be able to accept criticism to be better at what you are doing.
11. Strongly disagree as constructive criticism can help me improve
12. Strongly disagree pqa is all about diversity and integrity + it's about who is capable
12. Strongly disagree as we need to be professional

Q12 Disagree, Equality all the way
Q13 Strongly agree, disrespectful to all who hear it
Well done... I like your answers :)
Q13. Disagree it’s important to stay professional especially in the fire service as firefighters are role models they people look up to
Well done! Great answer

Q11 Disagree 12 strongly Disagree 13 strongly Disagree
Where exactly do we find these pqas
q13 disagree. This is dependant on where you are working or who you are working with. Public facing definitely not, but if having an opportunity to off load and reflect after a stressful day then yes swearing might be acceptable.
Well done

Thank you for response. Do you have a situational awareness video also? Cheers

A. Never

Q13- Strongly disagree because it is very unprofessional to swear
Yep, all correct here, good work!

Q 11 Constructive criticism i would disagree reason being as it is a way things that could be done better or another way
I chose strongly Disagree because I know how much the fire service want to have a diverse work force
13. Disagree- I don't like swearing & use such words sparingly. I would not reflect well on the work force, especially if a member of the community overheard a conversation between colleagues using foul language, this would not help them feel at ease.

Hi, I would strongly agree with all of your answers here. Well done!

11. Disagree- only disagree because though I do welcome criticism i would not strongly agree that it is one of my strong points
12. Strongly disagree while i do see that their are physiological differences between men and women I believe both belong in the fire department
13. Disagree while I do not agree that is acceptable because we are in a professional setting i do realize that we are human and that sometimes an extreme situation can bring about strong language
How up to date is this
Pretty much
Q11 - Strongly disagree - it is so important to be able to accept criticism because it shows your willingness to change.
Perfect! Make sure you apply... it sounds like you'll make a great Firefighter!
Ha! You say that. Yet I failed the behavioural questionnaire!! Was in the Royal Marines as well. To those reading this, do not think it’s a guarantee, I’ve made that mistake :)
Q12. Strongly disagree. Firefighters are now very diverse and everyone has differences which should be treat fairly and equally no matter what the differences are
Excellent choice!
Q.11 disagree I feel constructive criticism is positive and it can help you develop in both a professional and personal capacity
Q11. Strongly disagree. As a firefighter I need to be able take criticism and continue on with my job I must be able to review my actions and learn from my mistakes with out taking it personally or letting the criticism effect my performance in my role
Q12 strongly disagree. The community the firebrigade serves is made up of men and woman from a number of different backgrounds. Firefighting is a role that promotes equality and diversity Men and woman should be treated equal and be appreciated for the individual skills men and woman can offer the service and community. The fire service should represent the community it serves by employing a diverse workforce with in the brigade
Q13 strongly disagree, as a firefighter I am a role model to the community I serve. Strong language in the work place is totally unacceptable. I am responsible for maintaining the fire brigades reputation, I must show integrity and be respectful, dignified and remain professional at all times.
Thank you
11: Disagree
12: Strongly Disagree
13: Strongly Disagree
11) disagree. The word constructive means that it would be positive towards the change. And this may better my performance as a firefighter. It’s not strongly disagree because it’s not always nice to hear you’ve done something wrong because you may have tried hard on it and slightly upset with yourself or something.
12)strongly disagree. I believe diversity is good. It is not to say women aren’t as strong as men. Also a women may offer some different qualities that could help the situation as they bring a different view point.
Disagree. I believe that you are representing the fire service and people can find strong language offensive.
I already subscribed your channel.
THANKS
Q11 Disagree. I have personally seen what constructive criticism can do. Not only for me, but others around me.
Q12 Strongly disagree. I know women that have made great careers in the fire service, and don't feel like they are any different than the men I have worked with.
Q13 Disagree. I don't think that it is appropriate in the eyes of the general public. I also understand that situations can get very stressful and words slide out. I think that as long as you can turn on your filter when needed, you're alright.
Q11: disagree.
I have stronger points but it's not a weakness
Q12: strongly disagree. Statistically probably yes but as open to women as it is men.
Q13: Disagree.
It's not appropriate although it will most likely be common.

Well done!
I disagree
Being a person like myself who likes to get better and improve, constructive criticism isn’t something I shy away from. I embrace all challenges.
I disagree
Firefighting is a job for both men and women. Anyone who is brave enough to be a firefighter deserves an opportunity to make a positive impact in this world.
I disagree
Although we’re all grown there should be a limit for profanity because I’m sure everyone is smart enough to articulate themselves without cursing every other sentence.
