So glad you enjoyed it! The tiered action columns was a little touch I added in during development 🤠💙

Thanks for the great design! I'm so impressed by how much you packed into each action column.

I've only played this once, myself, with daughter and her friend, but I found one other thing - that reminded me a bit of Viticulture. One of your workers is a leader, who has a special ability (asymetrical between players). They don't have the ability to go to a spot already blocked, like Viticulture, but they did have that extra little perk that only they could do. I also like the different "mini-games" that are going on (area control on the map, progression of your buried people, set collection of animals (that could also be consumed for food), etc).

I definitely should have mentioned that, Greg, as I really liked the leader meeple in Endless Winter as well.

I love this action system, but even more so the many minigames. This makes the game feel like a big playground where I can do lots of different things everytime I play. So many strategies to explore. My favourite game at the moment, shooting instantly to the same level as Tzolkin for me.

I played it for the first time this weekend too and I really enjoy it! I thought that having only 12 actions would make the game to end really quick and it doesn't. I want to play it again soon to try different strategies

There has been a variant added to the rule book that reduces actions to 10!

I love Endless Winter, but I feel like the community moved on from it quicker than it deserves. My favorite mechanisms are: 1) the action selection with bonus (like you identified), 2) the turn selection bonus (like Viticulture), and 3) having disparate mini-games that tie into the theme.

Great game! I was surprised, when I played it, cause it remined me Scythe. In a way, that on current turn player needs to set up their next turn. Did You noticed that too?

That's an interesting observation. I wouldn't necessarily connect it to Scythe specifically--a lot of games do that--but I agree that Scythe is one such game!

@@jameystegmaier where I do find it "scythy" is in the way you are covering/uncovering spots on your player board to improve bonuses
