Turbos have blowback issues.
It’s their third year into this generation and these things are still a steaming hot pile of shit. Engines failing, engine blocks with debris in them, fit and finish problems, interior rattles, etc. Maybe Toyota corporate will step in and fix this. They need to figure out these quality control issues and add the 5.7 back into the lineup as an option.

@@tlitesworld there is a recall on the debris in the engine blocks. It affects every 3.4 engine they’ve put in these in the 3 model years. If the engines haven’t failed yet these things are a ticking time bomb. We’ve seen these engines fail at 500 miles, and some are still going with no issues. But they will fail because of this. It will be interesting to see what Toyota does about this. They should be replacing all of the engines or extending the power train warranty out to 150,000 miles at least.

poor quality all around and the engines are garbage to say the least. Good luck to those that buy one of these new model Toyotas to include the Tacoma, land Cruiser and the 2025 4Runner

First of all, the Toyota Tundra trucks are overpriced and not reliable with the Twin turbo V6 engines that are having major serious issues!
When I decide to get a Tundra truck, I will go with a 2018 to 2021 model because those had the V8 engines in them. The new Nissan trucks have caught my eye, and I saw a new Ford F150 truck in front of Costco under 50 thousand. Toyota's quality control has gone down the toilet, and the new Tacoma trucks are built in Mexico, and they no longer have the V6 engine! Shame on you Toyota! : (
