I worked as a part-timer at the brampton assembly plant, from May-December 2023 we basically did 6 days a week. The target goals was 380 cars per shift (2 shifts per day) which we would constantly beat. That's at least 4560 cars a week.
All my friends at the plant would be laughing seeing the prices on autotrader, especially got us crying from laughing so hard when we saw a black ghost for 425k CAD. They are beautiful cars and I loved my job but they aren't anything special. I would have loved to own one, but all the dummies got dealers thinking they are a gold mine.

Exactly!! They made 10s of thousands of scatpacks and Hellcat! Why in the hell the customers believe that they would be worth more than what they paid years down the line🤦♂️ The stealerships are the real pimps in the world😂

The only car that has a case to go to triple values from Dodge is the Viper those were truly last calls. Ford GT race cars those type of one offs but run in the mill charger and challenger gtfoh

Its unbelievable to try and remember, but i did see scats for 100k and hellcats for 150k just a year ago. Now they are below msrp by 5k or more

Years ago BigTruckSeriesReview said it best, “ These are 30k V6 cars with big engines “. Or words to that effect. 🤔 That’s all a Scat Pack or Hellcat is.

The dealerships near me are still trippin lol. No one is buying their expensive cars. I was in the market last year and just wanted a challenger R/T and I couldn’t find one under $51k. And these dealerships were bluffing and acting like these cars were Valhalla and never never ever be obtainable unless I bent over.
So I found a deal on a new Tacoma off road, new, and I haven’t looked back. I still get emails from the dodge dealerships and I tell them to go pound sand. You didn’t help me then, I ain’t helping you now 😂🖕

The company technically wasn't wrong about last call. They are not making any more V8s unfortunately.
The problem is Stellantis has raised the prices so high the dealers can't sell them.
Not to mention the dealership were marking up all the vehicles because of greed

Those cars a definitely not an instant booty ticket or man card a certain group thinks will come along with the purchase, that glory is fleeting it wears off in 6 months to a year.

Respectfully, the 1965 Ford mustang IT was mass produced, Now? They're hard to come by, then again we're talking over 50 yrs later. There were plenty of GTO's, Javlins, Cuda's Etc, these cars won't be so plentiful in 30-40-50 yrs.
True, but dealers didn’t charge markups. Dodge dealers are charging you for the appreciation up front. A 1965 Mustang GT350 adjusted in todays money was 44K without markup

@jmoo876 True but @ that time, there was no Collecting muscle cars, THEY were the 1st, therefore there was no reason to charge mark ups, they had no idea of the value those cars would bring THEN. Mark ups now are going off of the past, doesn't make it right, wrong is wrong but we're talking a different time, 60's compared to 2024 greedy dealers.
