what a nasty cable to replace in the Panasonic Lumix GH4. In the end i managed to get the touch display working again but its a pain. You can do it! you can also get the hinge including cable or a completely new display assembly to save time.

Get a cup for the screws and lay out a towel for a better work space and to get that damn screw driver to quit rollin around

i have question my gh4 the lcd don't show the image . but is only in the view finder i try reset the settings but still not working sometimes works sometimes not do you think is the lcd ribbon also the touch is not working either please help me

Thanks for your video. Same issue with GH4, only touch screen didn’t work. After I replace new screen cable, according to your video, screen is not working any more (no picture at all). I have tried with another two new cables, just simply connected all together (open housing, without wrapping cable around screen holder...) but still not working, even viewfinder is not showing anything. I can see only green indicator for camera on/off. Do you have any idea what went wrong? I will be grateful for your help.

it's a geared screwdriver that screws in a set direction no matter which direction you turn. i got it from a local hardware store. cant find an online source at the moment but there should be similar ones.
