By the way, you can add colors directly into your palette on the disc setting instead of switching back and forth from the two settings
Yes! Thank you for mentioning! I usually do it that way! I'm not sure why I didn't in this video... I think because there are these already installed palettes that were throwing me off. I'm definitely still getting used to this new iPad because a lot of those little details are different from my old version on the iPad Pro! Thanks for watching!

Dope video. Are you using one of the Matte Screen Protectors? I’m wanting to get into hand lettering, but I can’t decide between the 2018 iPad or the iPad Pro... Do you notice the screen gap? I feel like it’s something that people make a big deal about, but I wouldn’t even notice it after 10 mins. Let me know what you think.
Oskar Bravo hello! Yes I am using the matte screen protector! It definitely changes the feel of lettering on the iPad or the iPad Pro, but for me it’s a good thing. It feels more like paper & is less slippery. I have a comparison showing lettering on the two of them side by side linked in the description box. I haven’t noticed the lag that others have mentioned at all! Thanks for watching!
I was playing around with the 2018 iPad and the 10.5" iPad Pro today in the Apple Store, to see what I like better. The Pro is definitely the better device, but it's so hard to justify the cost of it. The 10.5" iPad Pro is TWICE the price of the 9.7" iPad! Even through it's better, I don't feel like it's "twice" as good... I'm most likely gonna get the 9.7 and see how I get on with it.
Oskar Bravo The pro is worth it. Also, just so you know, putting a screen protector on your iPad Pro can make the pencil not work properly and it can actually void your warranty. This was told to me by my local Apple store when I purchased my pro and pencil.

Hello! I wanted to know whether the Apple Pencil cover (case) is worth is. It’s quite slippery on its own which is why I have a rubber band on it now. I wanted to ask before buying.

Hello! Are you getting any variation in thick & think strokes or is it just 1 solid line no matter how hard you press?

My lettering brushes aren’t thick and thin like yours, how do I get them like that?
Your touch controls the thickness. The lighter you touch the thinner the line. The harder you press down the thicker the line.

why when i use the brush pen there is no the thin and thickness it will be all thick do u have a video of the setting of the brush?

How do you write in such a straight line with your letters the same size? Is there a tip/trick for this or is it solely practice? I’m working on creating a logo and it has been my biggest issue

Andie Yates you have to download it from a website. I just googled rad & happy pen and then downloaded it from the first website that popped up & the thick and thin lines happen when you use different pressures when writing.

My procreate has a black THICK rim around the part where you colour/ draw. It’s a really small space to draw even though my iPad is quite big. Do u know what I could do?

Loved the video! However, even when I'm using the same brush as you, I cannot get the same effect (and I am not referring to the streamlining). More to do with the thickness of the brush I guess. Could you please talk more about your brush settings please? Thanks a lot!
Try to adjust the max thickness and thinness of the brush, that might help
Kavin Popli i tried it but i think its not the same thickness, the strokes are more thinner than hers, im using an apple pencil.

Okay newbie here. This font you’re using, I can seem to get similar strokes, the small wave ends of letters etc. Is it cos of the Apple Pencil? Because I got different stylus pen.

As helpful as this is, these are all things I know from experience with procreate for my art...I can’t seem to get my lettering to look as clean as I can traditionally (with brush pens and paper) on my iPad. I want to start a digital journal. My streamline settings are identical to yours, it’s all a bit frustrating.

What is different when you do not use an iPad Pro (e.g. iPad Mini 3)? The Apple pencil is not working then, so do you know which pencil I should get?
I use a Rainco stylus for my 2017 version Ipad. I'm about to get the newest 2018 ipad so that It comes with the apple pencil. But as of right now, my Rainco stylus works amazinggg and looks just like an apple pencil. It only costs $25. The only downfall, because Procreate is mostly used for apple pencil, is that the Rainco stylus does not put thick down strokes. I add them in myself. :)

FUN tastic good question, they already have the fonts and different brushes and pens for you, you don’t need to purchase them individually.

Is there a way to remove "stray" strokes quickly? Sometimes I find them when I put my hand down on the screen. I know I can erase, but was wondering if there was another way.
Tap with two fingers to erase what you last did and three fingers to bring it back :)

I’m confused..., is the brush font part of the app. Like say im writing normal, but the app turns it into a brush like font?
Is that right?
It's the type of "brush" she selected in the app. It works with pressure. If you press lightly with the pen, it creates a fine line, if you press harder with the pen, the line gets darker. So when you select the "brush" called brush, it mimicks using a brush tip pen or brush tip marker.

Hey there! It’s actually not mine, I just download them from other makers! If you’re trying the rad & happy free one, I think she updated it and sells it now so if the old one isn’t updated that may be why. I don’t usually mess with any settings aside from streamline! Hope that helps!
i downloaded rad and happy brush on my new ipad from ur link. How come i couldnt achieve the same stroke like u did?
Hey there! Are you using an Apple Pencil? Also, do you mean the link from my favorite procreate brush videos? I think that video is a few years old and it's likely that there have been procreate updates and I'm not sure if she updates her free brushes since she currently sells them now? Hope that helps! It might be the canvas size! When you adjust the canvas size, it makes the brush larger or smaller... I wish the brush would scale to the canvas size but it doesn't (at least not unless they've updated it). Maybe try using a smaller canvas and see if that helps? Good luck! Thanks for watching!
