Omg Suzy thanks so much for this video! I just got an iPad Air and a second gen pencil that I’ve been experimenting with hand-lettering in the Procreate app. PLEASE do a video about creating a font with handwriting!! That would be so awesome to learn. Thanks so much again for putting the time in to make such an informative video! P.S. I’ve been working on your 1000 words worksheets and they’re amazing
Hey there! The Apple Pencil is pressure sensitive, so that's why I'm able to do thick & thin strokes with it. If your stylus doesn't have pressure sensitivity, then you probably will get 1 thickness of stroke no matter what. You could maybe use the monoline brush in procreate even without pressure sensitivity? I really like that brush! Thanks for watching!
This is a hard question because the one I've been using has been super glitchy on the newer iPad so I'm not sure if it's the iPad or that the brush just doesn't love the updated version of procreate! I am on the hunt for the best brush pen type of brush though & I'll be sure to share when I do! Thanks for watching!
I have a question. When I do lettering on procreate when I print it it’s blurry. Can you do a video regarding this? Not sure why it’s blurry on my sublimation paper. Since I notice this video was 8 months ago, I notice now they don’t have stream line.
Are you using a screen protector to make it less slick and more paperlike? If so which please? I am really struggling with how slippery the pen is on the screen.
Hello! Yes, I think a matte screen protector is a game changer! I like both the Icarez and paperlike screen protectors and am always using one of those two. Hope that helps & thanks for watching!
Hey Suzy, warm greetings from Northern Ireland! I love this really helpful video. Thanks so much. I got a new iPad for Christmas and am new to Procreate but this has been a very helpful start. I usually handletter using a fine paintbrush and ink and then scan my work and edit it within photoshop but it’s so time consuming and I’m hopeful that Procreate will speed up this process for me. I’d love to know more about creating your own font within Procreate, like you’d mentioned in the ‘adding text’ part of this video. Do you have a tutorial on this? Best wishes, Karen @raramakes
the monoline brush is under the "calligraphy" section. monoline 1 is a brush she created herself. the hard brush that she used to change the color of the word is under the "airbrush" section. i'm pretty sure they come along with procreate, whether or not you pay for the app (it depends on which type of ipad you use)
@@gabrielleonken7159 radandhappy.com/products/rad-happy-procreate-brush-set I'm not sure if this is the exact set, it's one of those sets that you have to buy
Hey there! Yes, that's the brush I've been using! I've been using it for years though (I did buy the updated version a while back) but since I got the newer iPad, it's just really glitchy. I'm not sure if the brush doesn't love the updated procreate or if it's just my iPad... I don't notice issues with the brushes already in procreate. So anyway, that's why I didn't share the link but if you do buy it, just know that I do have some issues with it!

What is the brush you used for bloom?
After I do the gift animated, how can I add it to anohter image? 😊
Hello! What do you mean to another image? Like on social media? Or am I getting that wrong?
Hi, i have a problem. I use another stylus pen, and i can't control the thickness and thinness even if i use the rad and happy brush.
