Beautiful spider. The temnocerens(spooders), neopterons(buggy boys) and carapacions(crabs) are the most neglected and fascinating catagories of monsters. We know for certain there is another spider or bug monster from the switchaxe showcase since the weapon looked like pinsers wrapped in a white and lavinder colored skin like material.
The switch axe could be crab!
@purrodie could be, I find it hard to believe that a crab would have a lot of the white and purple skin on it, but monster hunter loves to surprise us.
@@camowyvern3836 I'm leaning (AKA, Hoping) more for it being a new mantis, based off something like an orchid mantis or a devil's flower mantis. Give Ahtal Ka a cousin that's less OP due to being a construction and puppetry savant.

I love the slow turnaround from "Ew god no I hate it" to liking basically everything about rosebutt.
And agreed on the cat. They have multiple voices apparently to pick for it, so hopefully the other ones aren't as grating but I don't need Paimon-but-cat shouting one-liners all the time, please and thank you.

Rey dau means lightning sword since it wing claw he uses as a sword also lala ballerina is kinda a mixture of velvet ant, spider, and tarantula since it shed its hair like petals for self defense
I'm either turning off the palico voice, or changing it to something I can tolerate and won't be getting me the urge to stab my own palico.

... I mean, technically it's not a spider. It only has 6 limbs, which makes it an insect; more of an ant than a spider. I'm sure that really matters to someone in your shoes. I bet it makes all the difference. Instantly not uncomfortable. Yup yup.
