I would assume it’s either the same mechanic, just that more damage can be dealt to those broken parts when in focus mode, or we haven’t seen it for some reason, because cutting tails off and breaking horns is one of the mist important parts of the gameplay, so I doubt they’d get rid of it.

Labeling this as "Open World" is simply incorrect after the gamescom demonstrations that Capcom has been doing. They themselves have said it is not open world, it's simply slightly bigger locales that you travel to, towns being seamlessly connected does not suddenly make the map as big as San Andreas.
That's good thing, giant connected map is a better way than fully open world with all performance issues and make the locale too big to hunt in or too boring with less density of lives and stuffs
"players" nowadays really thinks open world is synonym of BIG ASS MAP. For MH purposes and standards this is a open world, nobody needs or wants a map big as San Andreas because that would be boring AF.
Well, looks like you're wrong. I'm not sure where you heard the game wasn't open world in the first place. But the new trailer said locales can be seamlessly traversed.

I can see MH world again, my favorite MH this feels like mh world 2
Bro they added aim for heavy while you holding the attack and block i can't believe that how i wanted this so much... already the best MH for me. Can't wait to play on pc!
I hope the HP animation is something you can turn off. Looks cool but might be a little too much.
Kinda distracting, tbh.
Super easy, don’t look at it lol. It’s been in the same space 15 years plus, you will be ok!
50 things on your HUD and the health bar is a distraction???
I always turn most of the HUD off usually I let only the minimap health and my weapon status
Do this and experience the game, it will fill a lot more satisfactory
It looks like something from metal gear
@@Lord.inquirer those 50 things are nice to keep track of for some people, especially for new players. when they're static and not bouncing around you just get used to seeing it, but the health bar animation seems to move constantly which will me annoying until you get used to it.
Love the new voiceover additions. Always found it odd my Hunter gleeing and nodding in certain conversations lol. Palicoes finally talk too! And I really really hope they have mount customisation!
Palico said "Monsters" instead of "Meownsters"... unpleyable!! Jk, I get why they did it, but I can't help but feel like there's something missing there.
I think it would be fun to have mutiple voiced options. ranging from meows to speaking a language.
Looks super, i prefer the MH World style presented - a lot better than Sunrise.
Hello here Question !!
How does the thunder ammo work?
Its like pierce elemental ammo on sunbreak?
Seems lots damage texts there !
In the latest games, elemental ammo now is like a piercing shot that does tick damage as it passes through monsters. Usually it pierces and ticks 3/4 damage. Where as before it was like a normal shot 1 tick. I welcome the change.
I think elemental ammo works like spread or Shrapnel ammo in Rise. hope we can have different shots of elemental.
I prefer my cat meowing. This is like pikachu talking 😂
You can change it in options....
@@k.guzhvin4952 well great!
15:08 beautiful just beautiful it reminds me of rajang and devil Joe
Now palico can use their voice, niceee
The new mountable buddys are great but the Palamute from Rise just got that dog in it.
DAM this this absolutely fire 🔥 it’s a lot like world more than rise
so i know its just a demo fight but does the breaking wounds replace the breaking a monster part? I like how breaking the wound gives you a material but i didnt notice anywhere saying you broke the arm or the head, so does the wound mechanic replace that? Looks great either way cannot wauit for the demo to be released to try it out.
I would assume it’s either the same mechanic, just that more damage can be dealt to those broken parts when in focus mode, or we haven’t seen it for some reason, because cutting tails off and breaking horns is one of the mist important parts of the gameplay, so I doubt they’d get rid of it.
@@godly_potatoe69xd19 i agree. Again its just a demo fight and theyre not gonna show everything but they will mostly the new stuff. Either way very excited about this game.
It doesn't. It's a separate mechanic, though it also does give you parts.
@@godly_potatoe69xd19 Breaking parts/tails is definitely still there. Third day on the official livestream they actually showed a Balahara's tail getting cut (normal cutting, didn't use focus mode/wounding to do so.)
When we getting the demo
We don't.
Focus mode looks like it's going to make the ranged weapons even stronger.
It looks so good. Is this the pc or console version?
I guess its console, pc would come follow
ps5
@@Le_Klaigg nice. I was a little concerned about performance after dragons dogma 2
Does anyone know when the Demo comes out?
@@aelucard_ same here i need answers if the demo is out yet on ps5?
You can SET traps with the environment now!? SWEEEEEEET I'm so stoked for this game! Been getting ready by playing World. Training like I'm about to fight the Saiyans! lmao
Bro training harder than Goku did on the way to Namek 😂😂
The Palico's VA is good don't get me wrong, definitely works for a little feline creature, but it's nice that we get an option to switch back to the 'meows' and 'nyas' that we're very used to. I imagine the change in language is a bit jarring for some seasoned Hunters out there x3
There is an option.
I like that new Raptor ride, but I do miss my Palamute.
To be honest, I kind of don't like how the mount can auto walk you to the monste.
I think it takes some adventurerism out of it...
Same system that’s in World
So dont use it
@@fAKSDFKamsdf yeah ik, but if you can make it yourself easier then it's hard not to use it
From what I saw you can switch it between auto and manual, like the palamutes
I don't like how i can buy beef from the supermarket instead of hunting it.
I think it takes some adventurerism out of it...
Vigor wasp watching him use his mega potion: 👁️👄👁️
Bro is strolling around with a gs unsheathed. Who gave this man the controller?
This game will be open world or just will have the biggest zones y mh IP (yeah i see the title but i need more info than a title)?
Talking palico really surprise me that I don’t mind
Seeing alot of Nerg in that first monsters attacks
Palico's can talk now?! Awesome 💘💖👍
We’ve come along way since healing meant you can’t move, now we’re riding mounts and sharpening our weapons, literally game changer.
i'm glad they brought back the talking palico's from STORIES.
I bet this game will take place on the island of Aya since that’s one of the few places in the monster hunter world that’s yet to be properly explored, and the creatures that they’ve shown appear to so far are be unique to this region
Palico and Hunter are talking? In my Monster Hunter?! ?!?!?!?
yes, palico is not just a cat, it's local tribe in the form of small cat-peoples
@@Dushess And they could always speak, they literally communicate with us in World constantly.
How does multiplayer work for campaign? Did they fix the campaign cutscene issue?
@@akasunaS24 This.
Well, looks like you're wrong. I'm not sure where you heard the game wasn't open world in the first place. But the new trailer said locales can be seamlessly traversed.
Finally hunters talk during story
More fluid cinematic is great
Palico sounds so cute and innocent 😭
hi, we still don't have a date for the demo?
