      icey melt it’s ok. i didnt take ur comment as a hate comment. all im saying is that strangers getting asked too personal question wouldnt wanna answer them and will consider the one asking nosy whether the one asking mean it in a ”good way”. just dont ask personal question like if someone’s married, how many kids he/she has etc. lol

    I actually like it when my filipino friends tell me their honest opinion about what they think of my current look. Back in the US, they will just say "it looks good" almost everytime even if my new appearance is bad so I wouldn't lose confidence.
    My filipino friends may poke fun of me when I change something that doesn't suit their taste but at least I get an honest unfiltered feedback. And even if they may laugh at my current look, deep down they are deeply concerned and is just looking out for my greater good.

    Being introvert is difficult here in Philippines, people will ask you things you'd rather don't talk about like personal life and you will be considered bad mannered if you directly say you don't want to talk about it. And the selfie culture is quite annoying, there is no purpose there, i still don't get it.

      What? Nope, the toilet paper is a must in the West. Also in Hispanic countries rice is eaten a lot, as much as in Asia, but knives and forks are widely used, spoons are heavily used and its the most normal to eat only with a spoon without forks and knives, but using forks and spoons? That's odd as fuck my dude. Also I like spaghetti and sausages, they're great.

    As an Indonesian, we share the same traits with our filipinos neighbour. Particularly regarding the "punctuality" issue (an Indonesian friend says "i'm otw" when you call him/her to an appointment, it is very likely that he/she is still in the bed). And about being nosey, i think it is a common trait in South East Asia. In Singapore they call this trait as being "kaypoh" (please correct me if i'm wrong), and in Indonesia they call it as being "kepo".

    #3 is something I despise. It's lateness. When I plan things and I specify the time, I might be inconsistent. Sometimes I might be there ahead of time, while at other times, I might end up late because of an indirect reason.

    There are so many good food in the philippines, i don't understand why they always push the exotic ones like balut, dinuguan, isaw and also jollibee to the foreigners. Not all filipinos can eat balut, dinuguan and isaw while jollibee is just a normal fastfood chain. Not all can speak fluent in english but majority can speak and understand english. Not all filipinos are open, friendly or sociable. Yes we do have friends and we treat them like a family, but some still prefers privacy and space specially those living in the city. We use not ony water, but we used soap when cleaning our butts.

    • @joan5996
      @joan5996 ปีที่แล้ว

      So on point. And I use wet wipes, lots of it if outside or when water is non-existent. Toilet papers are only for wiping the wet butts after cleaning with water.
