    My father-in-law in Korea likes to do body tapping. He even gave us these patented bamboo sticks to do it and recommended 15 minutes every night. It was the first time I had seen the practice outside of a Dahn Yoga center, and it really impressed me. I thought, this must really be ancient Korean wisdom. It's my go-to exercise for whatever ails me. My body feels so limber and warm afterward. I highly recommend it to everyone.

    You rock Danielle! This is a great exercise everyone which promotes circulation and just makes your body feel good in general - I hope you enjoyed watching the video as much as we did making it.

    Thank you so much. I came across this by accident and have been practicing every day for a week. It has helped with the ME fatigue I’ve had for 30 years. I have one question- is it possible to make the same video without the music? I am very sensitive to pumping beat rhythms and find that this particular one fights with the tapping rhythm you’re doing. Just a thought for those who like peaceful practices rather than frantic fast-paced exercises. But I really love the way you’ve explained everything as you go along, and how each body part is affected and helped. Bless you.

      Yes, I just wrote (in a new post) that the beat of the music clashes with the rythm of her movements. Only now did I see that she ansered your post, saying she could not change it. I was wondering if I was the only person who had seen this (and found it annoying).

      I follow along on mute. As long as we are watching Danielle, there need not be a guided routine.
      Besides, it becomes a habit. After a week, you should be comfortable following her movements and not focus on the words or music.

    • @rbrown6476
      @rbrown6476 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kreativepulp8760 That’s very kind of you to reply, but sadly, some people have a neurological condition which makes the competing sounds of human voice and pumping music extremely distressing. It isn’t something one gets used to, or can become comfortable with. I understand that it’s hard for others to relate to this kind of disability, just as it’s hard to fully appreciate how a deaf person responds to the world - we all have different ways of dealing with our disabilities.

    To the complainers-be aware that every healing practice/discipline is done at different speeds yet they release energy stuck in tense muscles and practitioner ends up both relaxed and energized. Even yoga is done at different speeds by different teachers, usually slow in America but some quite fast and aerobic.
    Chi Gong the same, from super slow to very fast, according to the discipline and intention.
    The complaints about the speed and music show how much these viewers need to do this, or something like it. Be open. Be flexible. Be creative. Shut the music off once you’ve learned it and just do with video. Or learn it and practice on your own without it. Lighten up, laugh and enjoy it.
    ❤ Bless you

    Great video, I loved how energetic it was and the fun time bar.
    I did a tapping exercise with another group one time. They had said not to tap backwards up the body because you want the energy flowing in one direction. What do you think about that?

    • @BodyNBrain
      @BodyNBrain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question Katie! Depending on your purpose, it may be ok to tap in different directions. In Body & Brain classes, we typically tap along the meridian channels in a way that stimulates the release of yang energy and gathering of yin energy for centering and relaxation. It's possible that tapping in a different direction would have different effects. In general, relaxed concentration during any tapping exercise will be helpful.

      Clearing qigong encourages one way to best encourage flow, dislodging bocks for the best. But really it depends on your intention. Once you know your circulation and energy/blood/lymph flows, it's a lot for us to understand without higher training. Energy medicine. Outsiders working our way in with more and more clear understanding. I love your video and channel! There's a studio near me. 😃 Inspiring and feel-goods.
