@@FlytPath thanks for the comparison link, I will go watch this. GoPro 12. Has a mode where you shoot in full and can easily edit the footage to be vertical or wide in its software. Thanks for the review. I got the GoPro Hero 12 creator package a few days ago. I'm currently debating whether I should return it to get the Ace Pro instead. However, I'm concerned that the Ace pro is having a focusing problem based on some YT reviewers.
Great comparison, all three low pretty good. But the Ace Pro and Action 4 do look better in low light, but I mostly film during the day. I heard the Ace Pro doesn't have 10 bit color or a LOG profile, and I like to edit and match footage, so that is a bit of a con for me. Thanks for sharing.

Ace pro > Action 4 > Hero 12. Ace pro was my first pick, but Action 4 Adventure pack with all the add ons was cheaper then Ace Pro itself, so the decision was easy. Love Action 4, small and reliable. Hero 12 was not even under consideration.

It is obvious that Go Pro is falling behind, which is odd since they are all made in China. I have not upgraded since the Hero 9 but am thinking about the Ace Pro to go with my Insta360. I would jump on any of them which came out with variable f stop even if over 500.
Awesome videos like always! I was set on the Dji Action 4 for Mountain Biking, Vacations and Real Estate Videos, but I'm not so sure now. I know I don't want a GoPro but the insta360 seems promising
Great video, congrats on your channel, super useful. Awesome camera but the only thing that let me down is the large cropping on the image when horizon leveling is turned on. Question, is it fov much cropped when horizon leveling is on vs horizon lock on gp12? Thx in advance.

My question is the gopro12 has a mode where you shoot in full. Then you can easily edit it down to vertical in its software. Someone mentioned that they did not think Action 4 does this. Someone said that ace pro lets you edit that type of thing easily afterwords. So does anyone know what exactly ace pro and action 4ś ability is for this compared to gopro 12 full mode.
