I have to tell you when you were painting the displays and getting the space ready you made my heart happy. Having done the same thing years ago when we opened our brick and mortar store I totally understand the excitement of adding on. We did the same with our business but actually moved to a much larger space down the street. It’s so much work but so worth all the effort. When you started rolling the display case with the family…made my heart skip a beat. We did the same. On a Sunday morning we put our display cases, one at a time on a rolling furniture mover and rolled the cases down the middle of Main Street. (Yes we lived in a tiny little town in rural Maine).My husband and our three daughters rolling those cases down the middle of Main Street is s memory we still talk about. Enjoy every moment of hard work. My children are all grown now and the store is now closed but we still have wonderful memories and having them help at the shop taught them many life skills that have served them well. Best of luck to you and your lovely family.

@@Gigi-000 I did see a mirror leaning against the wall in the bathroom, but not a table, there was a cabinet by the new counter under the lights in the main room, he said it would be for a Keurig or some coffee machine!
I agree Sandra L! A small table or cabinet would be great. A small counter top cabinet (or old small chest of drawers) beside the toilet or sink so purses could be set on top, and store toilet paper and paper towels under the cabinet would be perfect.

I wondered if it’s accessible from the outside as I do not recall. I thought the pad was above the sidewalk. I don’t use my wheelchair when I don’t absolutely have to but I’m afraid to go into shops like Alex’s. I also use a wider wheelchair because I have a wider behind. 😂 But that bathroom looks good.

@@roseduste80 I don’t know. We have the ADA in the USA, the Americans with Disability Act. I have to go up 3 steps to go into my apartment tho it’s not a new building. It was built in the 80s and even then should have been accessible. I love my apartment and where it’s located. But it should have more ramps. The only one I’ve seen is at the office. The buildings are elevated in case of flooding as I live across the road from a big lake that is off of a major river. I don’t take the stairs. I take the grass beside because it’s easier. We’re going to put pavers in to make shallow steps down that I can navigate. Several other apartments have done the same on the first floor. Also something to drain water as there is no down spout on the gutter so water just pours down.

This building is starting to look really AWSOME! Love the black and white floor, the art deco lights and the red piano. Know what I'd like to see? More touches of red throughout the room, like signs, etc. Giving it that 50's soda shop look. You've already got the red door. ♥♥♥♥ Wish I didn't live so far away. 😢

alex, seeing you in that old green ford brings such joy to my heart. my daddy had one nearly identical while I was growing up and I remember just being in love with the green glittery dash and how it sparkled in the sunlight. I keep telling my husband some day I'll see one of those in my driveway again.

A baby changing wall mount is a better option to a table. I use it to put my purse on, then fold it up after use. Takes up less room and has 2 uses.
I don't do that because I fear I'm sitting my purse on baby emissions, lol.
