He may come off as an ass but he knew what he had to do in order to get her to fully understand that the world isnt all sunshine and rainbows
My only problem with this particular rendition. Storm is suppose to be regal like and elegant . Here she is more sultry and dresses and acts way more provocative. A minor gripe in an otherwise great show.

Not his fault he can't. Brain damage from a plane crash in his childhood robbed him of his ability to naturally control his optic blasts before his powers even manifested. But with the help of the Professor and his visor, he's trained himself to be able to use his blasts with pinpoint precision, fluctuating their intensity, and even ricocheting them off several surfaces (not one we see often, but it happens). He may need a special tool to control his power, but it's undeniable that Scott put in the work.
You don’t know how much he CAN control his power, because wherever he is will pay if he doesn’t, his eyes aren’t just lasers, his blasts come from another dimension and are solid physical beams.

I have mixed feelings bout the show when I first saw it. There were alot of parts I limed but the ones i disliked were the some of the regurgitated parts of freaky monsters that took me out of it. Its been years since when it first came out so maybe if I watch it again my perspevtive may change

The 'armor' grants, as one might expect, incredible durability but also enhanced strength and the like. She's also been able to produce psionic blasts as well.
As cruel as it may sound, he did what he had to. If Hisako goes out in the field against someone who genuinely wants to hurt or kill her they WON’T hold back. In the comics Logan actually trained her the same way as Cyclops did here because he also knows that better than anyone
You know, I always thought it was stupid for cyclops to push a button on his visor. Why nit have it activated by a gesture, similar to spiders webslinging. That way he isnt beaten by a rope tied around him.
I'm pretty sure they established secondary controls for it that doesn't require physically touching the visor. I wanna say there was a trigger he could activate with just his pinky or thumb or something like that

If Scott was actually trying to kill her he would of killed her. He was intentionally missing and shooting close. She was never in danger. He didn't start shooting he directly until her powers kicked in.
