Will there be a model specific steering servo for the mtc2r?

No, because the actual servo mount and steering setup does not allow that! But no problem at all as everything is super low CG

Can you use the new parts on the original mtc2 are they compatible

yes you can use all parts on MTC2.
But to use some, you need a couple of parts. For example front drive shafts: You need the drive shafts, Spool Outdrives, Outer Ball Bearings, and wheel hexes.
Buying drive shafts only would not work!
