they deserve so much more recognition. they are truly a great band
trust me they where MASSIVE in the early to mid 2000's. They headlined Warped tour many times, and where instrumental in the Taste of Chaos international festival (a tour that basically got Paramore signed). In 2003-2006 the Used and My Chemical Romance where basically the biggest bands in the world (as far as an Australian kid with eyes, ears and family in Europe could tell)

I cant believe ive been listening to the used since i was 12. Im 33 now and still my favorite band. My family bettet play this song at my funeral or im coming back to haunt them.
Oddly enough, 7 years ago, my 6th grade English teacher introduced me to this song while our class was putting together the final fight scene for a "Perseus and Medusa" school play, and it stuck; I've been listening to this sort of shit since.

So many people must not understand his story. His and his band and crew's art is magnificent in its own way. The videos are so well made. I feel for Burt and his band. I can feel their music. When I was little and borrowed my older brother's MP3 they shared, this song (among others) was on there.
Flash forward 15 years later, they're in their late 20s and I'm 25. One of my brothers is doing good at the same job for like 9 years, and the other is in severe active add!ction. As far as i know, fentanyl is his main choice but hes done several things. And has been for years. I'm talking, transient, homeless, stealing, lying, tweaking, bending and passing out standing up.... This song makes me think of the kid inside of him screaming and pounding the walls to come out. I don't know if he will ever get better, who knows where he's at or what he's doing. I had to let him go, I couldn't keep dishing out money knowing he was lying. I want my brother back. This song both makes me feel close to him, yet shreds my heart to pieces.
