for a civilian to own a retired ambulance thats NOT being used for parades Siren all emergency lights (strobes/red lights , light bar (roof and surface mounts) must be removed , you can turn red square box lights into flood lights or wire in LED offroad lights ... im a retired emt paramedic
Hi bud. Had to reach out again. I found a switch box with one switch in the engine compartment I wanted to ask you about. I was looking for the block heater plug and found the switch. Any idea if that is the actual switch to heat the block? Don't know how to send you a pic on TH-cam? But if it is, then I have to plug the truck on the side and perhaps turn on this switch on cold days?
Hey I've got one of these that we use for donated food but I want to use it for a camper too. I have a question supposedly you can plug an extension cord to the outside electric socket on the ambulance and it will electrify the interior. Is there a switch or something that I need turn? Is yours like that?
Hi bud. Thanks for sharing this video. I bought a 1990 Ford F350 4x4 retired military Ambulance. I wanted to ask you what are the two external electrical plugs used for? You showed us having one that you can connect when parked at a camping site. Mine has two next to other They look the same. Can I charge the rig while it's sitting? Charge the batteries when it's parked? Heater block? Do I charge the truck while the main power master switch is off? Any information will help. Thanks
Shore power and yes the amulances have inverter that charges batteries when plugged in and usually when running the alternator too .a good cheap on vestment is a pigtail from 30amp rv plug to standard 110 for rv parking if you show up at one..bout 10 bucks
Clean rig, you lucky bastard.

I've seen an ambulance that's only use for tailgating that kept it's lights & siren, fun for the fans.
Called it the FANBULANCE.
