Dear KYD Drone Operator: Perhaps your best work yet. Dear KYD Producer: Phenomenal work. Dear KYD Talent Coordinator: Do not take this wrong, and I am certain you will agree, but everything changes when Trish is in the scene. The smiles she brings to the family and the energy she brings to the adventure cannot be topped. Dear KYD Wardrobe Coordinator: There is a reason you do not see many leather fedoras in Alaska. Leather will shrink when wet, i.e.; A size 8.5 will gradually become a size 6.5. Dear KYD Editor: When do you sleep? From this KYD Fan: Again, Thanks.
Lol. Too funny. You're right, that's probably why I haven't worn the AK hat very much. It would get rained on too much. You're also right about Trish making everyone happy.
Thanks for giving my wife and I the final push to buy our first travel trailer yesterday. Been sitting on the fence for almost 10 years about pulling the trigger. Everything you guys do is either funny, amazingly beautiful, informative, educational and more. Very inspiring, relaxing and I have been binge watching your channel for the last month...I don’t ever do that. I am also a photographer and music lover. You do great in it all. And who wouldn’t want to travel with Trish...she is so enjoyable...laid back...best sense of humor...and a fabulous mom. Marc, your presentation is perfect. Off to travel. Thanks again. Melissa Texas Travelers
Triple Wow!!! I'm sitting here with my mouth hanging open. This is the best scenery yet. You're not just seeing it - you're living it. OMG, those steps over the glacier looked soooo dangerous. Many years ago my dad went on his lifetime dream of going to Alaska in his RV - way back in the day when RVs were just getting started and I stupidly turned down his invitation to go with him. I've regretted it ever since. While I can't get back the trip I didn't take, at least I'm getting an up close view through you guys. It's awesome!
OH MY GOSH what BEAUTY that was!!!Thank you guys for going there!! OMG SUCH BEAUTY!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! Hugs to all of you & welcome back Trish!!! HUGS!!!!!
Alaska is breathtaking. My wife and I spent 2 weeks in June of 2018 there. Fairbanks to Valdez, then to Anchorage, and back up through the Denali state park to Fairbanks. Best vacation ever and we can't wait to go back. I love your KYD channel, your connection with the camera makes us viewers feel like we are a part of the journey.
Sunday night routine is getting the kids prepped for school tomorrow, getting them to bed, then watching the new KYD video! Thank you for letting us in to your lives.
Magical! And meeting Penny was just icing on the cake. Her enthusiasm is genuine, clear and contagious! Happy travels to Penny and her hubby, wherever they are!
I look at the gift of wonder you have given your babies....hats off too you both. The children are having more adventure than many have in a lifetime. Oh my gosh what an education as well. Blessings to you all.
OH.. The End … The Tour on the canoe .. and Walking on the Glacier ! and the music set the scene so well and allowed you to see Beauty most of mankind never get a chance to see... Beyond words ! The Video was totally Amazing !!!!
I enjoyed this video, it was cool to see some of the places we stayed again through your travels. Interestingly I’m watching you enjoying the sunshine and it is snowing at the moment. Arizona is starting to creep up the bucket list chart. We found good wifi at Bayside but we were right under the booster. We had beautiful weather while in Valdez and I think that makes for a more enjoyable time regardless of rain gear. We travelled with our two small dogs so we found that full service or electrical sites were required if we wanted to leave the dogs to see things where they were not allowed. We would have liked to do more dry camping but one of the things you deal with when travelling with your pets and we didn’t want to travel without them. There were so many portions of the trips between communities that were spectacular views and seeing them again through your travels is really cool. Looking forward to the next video.
Has been a LOT of years since I was in Alaska. What an amazing place. Great that Tricia is back. Her smile and expressions steal the show. Glad you guys are getting to enjoy this leg of your journey.
We left Seward yesterday and drove to Talkeetna and stayed overnight. This morning we hit Denali on our way to Fairbanks. I’ve been trying almost every state and several countries. Alaska is absolutely the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. It takes your breath away.
That has to be the best video of your's yet! The drone footage, the fog/misty rain added such an alluring effect too! But, that voyage via canoe, and the glacier, unbelievable!! So glad you made that trip in the canoe, and was able to share such spectacular views with us who wish we could be there! TY for your tireless work to make/edit these video's!!
After raising three children with the last just starting high school this year. My husband and I have talked about buying an RV and traveling across the country just us two. Well watching you guys have definitely made my mind up! We WILL being buying an RV and traveling!! Thank you!!!! So beautiful!!
So busted on the "cooking department" question Mark! I always look forward to your weekly segment to see what is happening with you guys. Thanks for sharing your family in the videos, their personalities never fail to entertain, though I have no doubt you each will miss Tory while she is away in school. When my son 1st went to collage I would find myself going to his room to tell him something that came to mind then realizing he was off to school, and summers were very short when he came home. Then he got married in his senior year and went on to law school immediately after that, never to live full time at home again. What you guys are doing is fantastic and you and your kids will never forget it. Safe travels, peace, and friendship KYD.
You know, we who live in Alaska sometimes take these views for granted. It's when seen from someone else's eyes that we truly appreciate what we have. Glad you are enjoying your stay and taking advantage of some of what we have to offer.
I think it is amazing that all of these full time RV families can visit the same areas in Alaska and get shots and videos that are uniquely their own. You guys did a great job. Some of the best shots I've seen. So different from the others. Nice perspectives. By the way, you men look very handsome in your new haircuts.😘❤Walk on the edge freaked me out.😬😁
I agree. People ask all the time how much does RV Life cost and we believe strongly it can cost whatever you want it to cost. Dry camping is everywhere and there is always something to do that doesn't cost money. We're partial to productivity and the adventure that sometimes requires a guide or a ticket. After Valdez, we go back to more free stuff which we like too.
best video of the entire Alaskan adventure. what amazing, glorious footage. the memories you made must still replay themselves in your dreams. thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for taking us along. So far my Alaska trips have been limited to 10 days to 2 weeks. I can't wait until I can go for an entire summer. Your adventures are so inspiring.
Your amazing journey just keeps getting better and better. Wonderful videography and music selection. It is so much fun to catch up with each Sunday night. Glad Trish is back safely. Our fridge problem was a sticky fan.
Sorry, I know you commented this two years ago, but I’m a local of Valdez and friends with Zach. He does some amazing stuff and takes people on some epic tours. If you look up Alaska Photography he’s also an amazing photographer
I was memorized the whole time watching the glaciers! When Trish walked over the glacier and below was a crevice, OMG! I can't wait to see Alaska the RV way! Your guys are always inspiring. Thanks again for the magnificent footage!
Your family is so great! It has been such a joy seeing your kids grow over the past couple of years and this year‘s Alaska trip is amazing. We just took a part time home in Idaho from Florida and have been spending lots of time in our travel trailer. We did tent camping up until five years ago and that’s how our kids enjoyed camping but I think it would’ve been a hoot to have three boys with us in the RV doing fun stuff like you are. Congrats on choosing this lifestyle! What an education for your boys. Good luck to Tory as she enjoys her first year in college!
The. Best YT channel of its kind on the Internet! You are so fun to watch. Your filming and editing is professional. Scenery you catch is spectacular especially in Alaska. Just know that all the effort you invest is much appreciated.
Welcome home, Trish! Love your photography and videography. The light, patterns, and unique perspectives are all fantastic. I'm glad you show the preparation needed to enjoy a climate like Alaska. I certainly need to make visiting the great white north a priority. Definitely a different twist to your affinity with the Southwest.
All of your videos are awesome ! My fiancé is always giving me crap for watching TH-cam ( this channel ) but what is amazing is that this is better quality than anything on main stream media today. Thank you
Amazing video, I was a little nervous about the glacier stuff though, but boy what a view! Glad you all survived without your mom's cooking. lol I think you guys did great. But I know you are glad to have Trish back and cooking her delicious meals for you all. Looking forward to next weeks video. Hugs, Brenda
Beautiful. I liked the time-laps of the rig setup. You should do that more often on arrival and departure. It adds to the overall story on travel days.
Once again we are so pleased with the video and this part of the country. We are planning to go in June, July, Aug 2019 so these videos are so helpful for our plans. The level trick with the phone was "golden" as I normally bring a level on our previous trips, so thanks Marc for this little trick. Safe travels
Well now what?? Took me most of the summer to watch all your videos, now I’m all caught up. Guess I should get off my butt from watching to getting the RV out and doing! You guys have an awesome channel, keep up the awesome work!!
This was the first video I was able to watch “live”. I’ve spent the last few weeks just binge watching your channel from the beginning. It’s a little bitter sweet being caught up and having to wait for new videos.
Keep Your Daydream Thanks. Happy to be here. I’ve actually been living full time in a 32’ TT for the last year in an RV park. I just don’t have a truck to pull it yet. That’s my new goal though. Aiming for a 3 week trip in April.
Alaska was on my bucket list and I finally went in 2018 and again in 2019. We didn't take a cruise. We landed in Anchorage and explored the fishing towns like Seward and Homer Spit. Such a beautiful state.
I think i just watched a national geographic living magazine....Its like the best recliner in the house ...you don.t want to get out of.... so comfortable to the soul....you guys are an do amazing thank-you
Fantastic video footage (stills good too). Making connections while visiting any part of the planet sure seems to make the adventure complete...like listening to grand piece of music that is full and complete. Excellent choice of background music.
Awesome , fun , real let me say real again , love this format of video editing you’re doing. I’m glad Trish said keep recording otherwise I would have dialed Alaskan rescue because we love your videos.
Omg. This episode is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for doing this. Also how do you choose your music. Amazing. I’m adding Alaska to my bucket list.
Well Marc, you did it again..you both are so fantastic ... When trish is gone and it's just the guys it's great..but when trish is there ,its like you happier again lol... Anyway I just wanted to say thank you for the videos the drum for the edge and everything you have shown us. That is some of the most beautiful footage I have ever seen , I could not have imagined saying something so beautiful like that.. One day we are going there and follow in your footsteps.. Thank you so much, and you guys make this such a wonderful moment for the time that we spend on 25 minutes of video common last a lifetime with us thank you
I really love that you and other like Less Junk More journey show us the beautiful true America and Canada through your journeys and not what you see in tv, movies or news or politics - especially for those of us who don’t really have the financial means to do an extensive “road trip” like you through North America. Your videos really wanna make me go back to the States and Canada and visit. My dad was stationed in Dallas TX through he’s job as an engineer in a global Swedish company back when I was a kid back in the 80s and 90s
Another great job, Marc. Loved the cinematography and editing. It is such fun to "tag along" with you. I made it as far north as Grande Prairie, Alberta on my recent trip but then turned east instead of continuing north. Glad you are doing all this work and sharing with us so I kind of got to go to Alaska.
... WOW... Thanks for a great video... that day alone is worth the trip. I hope your young people will know how fortunate that experience was & maybe one day will be able to share & relate it to their grandkids.. ; )
Yay moms home !! recognizes everything right away just like our house. Was thinking about you guys as I came to visit one of my plants in fort St. John as I drove past the mile zero sign..
Thanks for all the behind the scenes hard work to create great content. My wife and I are going full time next spring and can't wait. I'll still be working but we will begin our journey like you did a few years ago. Safe travels. - Sal & Teresa (So Cal)
The glacier looked amazing. I wish you would have really told us how it went cooking that week. Also, Caleb, laundry is the best chore because it's the only one you can do sitting on your butt watching tv. Give me laundry duty anyday! :)

"...more health problems..."
When she said that, I thought there was going to be tears...That Made me absolutely emotional
Trish is sooo funny - her constant optimism totally makes my day. And he was a cutie lol.

Congrats! You're going to love it. It won't always be easy, but it's worth it. Thanks for the comment.
I look forward to Sunday’s and your videos! Kaleb is a scream. He’s so happy mom is back. Real life.
This was one of those videos where 25 minutes was not enough. Love your channel!
I was thinking the same thing!
Could have been 2 vids. Add time to both. Story line up to the glacier, and another 25+ just on the glacier portion.
Triple Wow!!! I'm sitting here with my mouth hanging open. This is the best scenery yet. You're not just seeing it - you're living it. OMG, those steps over the glacier looked soooo dangerous.
