You guys nailed it with this one. The perfect balance of adventure, beautiful shots, useful information, real life, your personalities...seriously, thank you!!!
You guys are really becoming my favorite, of the travelers that I follow! It's so true to life and your entire family rocks with personality! You cover the things that I wonder about and the first that I've seen to carry a firearm and admit it. I would have bear spray too but when it comes to protecting my life, I wouldn't want to trust it . Thank you for the entertainment! You guys are great! 😎👌💖
Can't tell you how much my husband and I love your TH-cam Chanel. This week, we bought your dish drainer, and I installed your magnet motion sensor lights in my pantry. Wow what a difference they make. We also installed the step covers. We had my brother in law over yesterday and your show was on. We were telling him how much we love watching your adventures, today he was out shopping for trailers. Passing on your spirit of "do it now, don't wait until you retire". Thanks guys for always keeping us entertained, informed and motivated. We are currently at Pismo Coast Village because of you. The sunset was beautiful tonight and we have you to thank for that. We are reminding ourselves each day, to live our dream today. Thank you KYD
That's great. Thanks for letting us know. Those step covers are essential! It was a real slip hazard before. Pismo Coast Village was so much fun. What a great time of year to be there.
I bought those lights too and every time I move my trailer, they fall and half the time they don't work anyway because there's not enough tension on the battery door to keep contact.
Wow! What a beautiful video! You nailed the perfect music to go along with the drone shot coming down on the boat as it waded through the ice…..it was magical! We had to watch it over and over. And great shot and audio of the boat sloshing the ice around! We so appreciate the time and effort you all put in to produce such beautiful work, not only the visual, but also the details and information you supply. We soak up everything as we work to make our dream happen. Thank you for the continued inspiration! Ray and Cindy from Nevada
I love how you guys include just the random real time conversations about the travels and decision making! This is something we are working on getting better at in our vlogs!
Lol you guys crack me up every single time you could use a video there so many beautiful things. But Marc when you in Tricia are together, It seems like constant smiles and laughs ,and you guys just make everything great.. I mean let's just think about it 35000 views is where I see you guys at right now, and a 146000 people subscribed you guys are one of the most watched videos out there even by other people that we watch... You 2 are making history lol unbelievable.. Keep up the great work we love you guys see on the next one
Amazing footage of Alaska. Wonder how many times we said, “WOW!!!!!!” watching the incredible scenery and wildlife. Had no idea the border has hours?!?!?! Will be waiting till Sunday....💕💕💕
"CTRL+F dielec" yup. I second this suggestion. Should have for everything on a truck like this. I use it on every fuse/relay I can to stop corrosion and garbage.
We were in Valdez - too early for Salmon fishing, but Tinkerbell fishing co. had huge jars of frozen Salmon caviar - we bought cream cheese, great crackers and feasted for several days. We did not camp on this trip, though we usually always do on our travels. If you hit a moose on Alaskan roads (happens a lot) You let authorities know and they alert the nearest local tribe, and the meat is used by the indigenous people. When we drove from Anchorage to Valdez, we drove for 2 miles behind a moose strolling down the middle of the highway! He was completely unconcerned. We had so many amazing experiences, but now I want to go back and do more! Thank you for sharing your possibilities.
Immediately when you had problems with your trailer brakes disconnecting my brain went to the problem we recently solved. Our brakes would only disconnect when it was raining. After lots of investigating we discovered the brake wires that run through the axels was old and the insulation was cracking and braking. We had to pull the wires and rewire the trailer brakes. This summer on our 30 day trip was the first trip in 3 years where we didn't have brake problems or a tire blow out. We were so happy.
So many great shots and ideas for our trip next year. I was so close to hitting the road full time when I was blessed with the care of three beautiful grand daughters. They met with unfortunate circumstances and keeping them together was, of course, my first priority. I truly thought my "daydream" was over at that point until I found so many full time families on the road. What a beautiful way to educate the next generation. So we are in the process of customizing our bus. And planning the "unplanned trip" of a lifetime..LOL. Just love you guys. And not all our borders have hours...lol...most bigger crossings are open round the clock. Hope you filled up on fuel while you were here as our dollar sure makes it worth it for our American friends. Thank you for such beautiful footage and great info and trivia. Cant wait to say I've done it too. Happy travels to you all … because of course "It's A Wander-FULL Life" indeed!
That's great to hear. You'll create memories for a lifetime. Tonight's video starts right at the border. Regarding cost, Canadian fuel is about $5.43 gal and US is $3.20 on average. Groceries are our biggest expense and CA is about 10% more after our exchange. Overall, it's a bit more expensive to us to travel to CA, but it's been worth it every time.
Hi from Australia. I have been really enjoying your videos. Will be going back and starting from the beginning and watching them all. Your and your family's interaction with the camera is great. I love how you also give abit of history, geography and tourist info as well. For us over here in the land of Oz, it feels like we are there with you. Thanks again.
Borders can be very frustrating... When our boys were little asthma was an occasional ugly problem. It had appeared to be under control for almost a year so we planed a stay in Rocky Point. On our next to last day there the oldest was experiencing some problems with his asthma, nothing but an un staffed clinic in town and no EMS. So we packed up in the middle of the night and made a dash for the "Border". Of course it was closed so we had to sweat out 2 hours waiting, after we got there for it to open... If it wasn't for being a Medic and having everything I needed to treat him it could have been really bad. Murphy is a has a sick sens of humor and he is waiting around every corner. Wish we'd have had our RV back then! Great show , fantastic footage. OLT
Glad I had to wait until Friday to watch Sunday's episode so I only have 2 days to wait for the next one! I am so impressed with your videos, I don't know how you do it - you're gifted, Marc (and hardworking) - a great storyteller. All of it, I just can't say it enough, you're really good at this! Amazing that you were able to get that drone footage while on a moving boat!?! Thanks for the entertaining videos and for sharing your family and adventures with us. Love it!
Up up down down A B A B select start! I loved your Nintendo reference LOL!!! My jaw HIT THE GROUND when you rolled up to the closed border! I can’t believe it
Thanks for inspiring us to start our daydream. Bought a truck and used toy hauler camped for two nights for shake down. It will be a couple of years before we can do extended trips but we’ll be doing a week or to at a time and long weekends till then. Love your videos
We've really enjoyed your videos this summer. We live here in Alaska but we've never gone any boating tours or flight seeing tours. This was awesome to watch. Thank you
Back in 1999 we went to Canada and brought a rifle into the country and they asked more questions about the ATV than the gun. No fees back then but they were concerned we were going to sell the ATV while we were in the country.
OoOh. That's good! Just left us hangin'!! I loved the Lulu Belle footage. So neat that you were able to use the drone. I would've been worried to lose it. LOL. Looking forward to the next episode, as always!!
When my family left Alaska to be reassigned in Fort Jackson, SC we took that same route. From Tok to Haines in the winter time. Not recommended. White-outs and communications dead zones. And yeah, the closed border. Caught us off guard too. Haines was such a beautiful town.
Such great pics (both from the drone and on the ground); espec liked the boat going through the ice field. Can't wait to see what happens at the border. So interesting with you sharing some "fun facts" and showing the great scenery. Seeing black bears on the side of road would be exciting, too. Am enjoying being with you on this trip. Y'all Be Safe!
We’re finally full time RVers and you had so much to do with getting us here! Thank you for your inspirational videos that keep us motivated to keep dreaming about the next adventure...even if it means sleeping overnight at the border!
Best videos on youtube. You guys live an amazing life. Make the best of a rough situation. At least you guys have each other and all get along great. Thank you for the entertainment.
Super fun! The drone footage off the Lu-Lu-Belle was gorgeous. Trish, you bailed too early on the dolphin jokes. Here is a couple for the next time you need them. You know where that dolphin keeps her money? Her octopurse. Glad that dolphin didn't hurt you, you would have had to call a clambulance. Why did that dolphin cross the road? To get to the other tide. Another GR8 episode, KYD!
Oh no! You missed one of the most beautiful drives up there! When I left from Haines Junction to Haines I figured a few hours. It was so beautiful, it took me the better part of a day to do it. I’m also sorry that you didn’t know that some smaller border crossings close during the night. It’s the same case going into the lower 48 as well. Also, your footage on the cruise was amazing!!!
Hey Marc, someone may have already shared this tip but if your trailer connection is wet you can spray it with WD-40 and it will displace the water. Love your channel. Be safe!
That was amazing. Love your adventures, feel like I am right there with you. Thank you so much for all you do on your channel. Now to wait till next week to see what happened at the border.
A great solution to the 7 pin connector issue, is dielectric grease. After making sure our 7 pin connector is clean and coated, zero issues. We lost the electronics to our tongue jack last summer in Alaska/Canada due to all the rain and road spray. Those vulnerable contacts now have dielectric grease on them.
Wow! Again! Magnificent ❤️ the Drone footage from the boat was amazing. The music is awesome! LOL, you used the aggressive one for the boarder! (Really liked the song at 14:32) Love all your videos!! I wish they lasted longer! drive safe!
Wow, this video was amazing! Loved the boat ride through the ice. I was in awe the whole time of the ice and the wild life. Couldn't believe how close the boat got to the "cave". Was amazed about the gun and the border, that was pretty easy. Then about died when the border was closed and y'all had to spend the night there. The only words for this is... You nailed it! How do you guys do it? Your videos are awesome! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and adventures with us! Can’t wait for the next show!
Again, very instructive in tips @ tricks on the road. I will always remember this: driving up north at night may not be the right idea! This is always difficult in our travels as we want to make the most out of everything on the road...and nighttime driving always seems to be a good idea....but not! Yes, Canadian borders are sometimes closed...especially up north! Good to know ;-) Safe Travels!
Hey Mark put some electrical grease in your connection for the trailer pans that I keep it connected and keep the water and corrosion from getting to it just in case you haven’t figured that out already
Each week gets better and better. Your footage off the side of the LuLu Belle was awesome. Was someone holding you by the ankles? I look forward to each week. Take care and be safe.
Talk about leaving me hanging at the border lol! Wait to see what happened next. Beautiful country there in Alaska, we're moving there in the spring to Whales pass area, can't wait for our adventure there.
So very cool! By chance did you see Carolyn from Carolyn's RV Life? She just uploaded the same tour video on Sunday too! She took it last Thursday. Safe & happy travels. Tracy Annetta
Ugh, I knew driving that far that late wasn’t a good idea....but at least it was only a closed boarder crossing ! So next time don’t worry about getting videos out at a certain time, your safety is more important.....viewers understand !!! One good thing about binge watching a year after these are posted, I don’t have to wait a week to see what happens :))) hehe
The drone footage of the boat through the ice was really cool!
AI, best pet ever. Always come back.

Your drone footage off the LuLabelle
Was amazing!
It’s great how you show us that it’s not all rainbows and roses. Surprises and the unexpected are reality.
More of that to come!
Amazing footage of Alaska. Wonder how many times we said, “WOW!!!!!!” watching the incredible scenery and wildlife. Had no idea the border has hours?!?!?! Will be waiting till Sunday....💕💕💕

Marc your the driver and the boys are, well I haven't figured what they are yet. 😄
Lol. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Beautiful scenery and video! Great drone footage above the boat. Parking at the border is going to make a great story. Safe travels!

You are amazing in the video editing department! Great stuff. I always left wanting more.
Thanks. We really liked this video too.
Marc, lift up the center console, look under the lid, two places to put pens, even pink if you like.
I laughed so hard at the TBC... Thanks for another great Sunday episode!

Who knew that a border would or could be closed! I thought the border was always open. Great video... keep it up.
aWWWW nuts. Left us hanging. To be Continued. Love you guys.
OMG!!! You Guys are killing us 😆, great cliffhanger 😉🤙🏽
I can see why my relatives in Alaska like it so much there, I can't believe how much you have driven. That's over two oil changes!
Hey Mark put some electrical grease in your connection for the trailer pans that I keep it connected and keep the water and corrosion from getting to it just in case you haven’t figured that out already
I look so much forward to your videos! You guys are so fun!
Really great cinematography while you were on the boat tour.
Really great journey.
"3 against one and she still won" - is that a surprise? doubt it :)

Hey Mark...your editing is awesome. Keep up the great job!
Just finished watching “Carolyn’s RV life” and she did the exact same tour .
So very cool! By chance did you see Carolyn from Carolyn's RV Life? She just uploaded the same tour video on Sunday too! She took it last Thursday. Safe & happy travels. Tracy Annetta

Trish you were right it was well worth the money just gorgeous
Love the drone footage on the boat Marc! You left us at a cold hanger!
