Chris, I'm a boomer and we refrain from that four-letter acronym the "kids" use to describe videos such as this. So let me borrow a baseball metaphor and say this: you've knocked it out of the park! You've read my previous comments about your cinematography skills being your greatest natural gift (though you're not bad at tenkara either!). This video gives that gift the front and center stage it deserves. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is award-winning material, regardless of the inherent bias I have with its focus on the lovely pursuit of tenkara. I hope you are immensely proud of this product, as you should be. I think it's the best thing you've ever done. Simply amazing stuff. I'm betting this video manages to rocket your subscribership into the stratosphere.
Thanks so much ... I was reading this comment to my wife and my son and I could barely read it out loud without tearing up a little. This one was a beast to put together, 25-30 hours on the edit I'd say, and I am extremely proud of it. It was really rewarding to watch through all of my experiences from the last 3 years and try to select my favorite stuff to show you guys. Thank you so much for the seriously, seriously kind words. Appreciate you being here.
this deserves so much more views. thank you for going on this journey with you and sharing the deep love and respect you have for wildlife and the environment.
So glad you're liking it! I put a lot of effort into getting the sounds to flow smoothly and get all the levels in line so it wasn't too jarring at any time, so your comment makes me very happy!
By far, this is the best piece of work that you’ve shown here on TH-cam, simply amazing how you can capture the “whole experience”. The animals alone, elk, moose, marmots, and all the birds are captured so well. Amazing close ups on the fish with their colors is just awesome!
Wow Chris, excellent work behind the lens and editing. Had to stop at 30min for work, but can't wait to finish and share with friends. Thank you for creating such a masterpiece.👌 Tight lines my friend! Steve
I have been watching this in “installments” (and re-watching some segments), and feel remiss it has taken me so long to comment. This is truly an exceptional editing effort and serves as an excellent sampler of your gifts as a photographer/videographer. All I can say is this is truly wonderful and you’ve made this old viewer deeply grateful.
Thanks so much Michael. It's a big one to digest for sure. It was daunting, but really enjoyable for me to watch back through all my time on the water as well. So happy you're enjoying it so much!
Coulda been 60 videos! Hah! Wanted to try my hand at this relatively popular TH-cam niche of super long videos that are meant to be relaxing and figured all my existing content would work nicely. I def did enjoy hearing hearing all the natural sounds as well! Thanks as always.
Well done dude! That must have been on heck of an edit! 🙌 Its awesome! Really cool seeing you do a ASMR video! I just got a vice, so ill be playing this as i try to tie! 😂
@@FlickyFlies yep, just getting into tying! Nothing yet, but want to do a simple kebari and a small wooly bugger or small bead head nymph of some kind.

Thanks so much my friend.
Awesome. I love how you capture the whole of the experience rather than just the fishing. In all of your vids, not just this one.
Thanks so much Brian! That's what it's all about for me. Glad it resonates with you too.
This is one of the coolest videos ever! I want the soundtrack on its own so I can listen to it while I fall asleep. But for real though :)

So glad it's working so well for you Steve! Capturing these sights is truly what keeps me out there. Can't wait till the upcoming season!

Thanks so much Steve!! Very cool, glad you're able to re-visit it in chunks. It's a lot to digest haha!

You provide a super unique part to the video content in tenkara community! Thank you for your contributions
Thanks so much for watching!
Long, could be several videos. But the video content was great! I especially love the soundtrack! Great job!

Whoever does your videography is a genius. These films are works of art.
Of course, it's all driven by you, Chris.
Hah! Thanks man! Glad you like it ... certainly love filming all of this stuff in these places :)
Exactly what I’ve been looking for thank you!
Happy to show off these places! Thanks so much for watching.
Fun look back. I'm taking 20 minute bites to extend the enjoyment. Cheers, Chris.
Love it! Thanks so much my man!
