You truly understand the struggles and know the right things to say MO. I like your No-BS content. You keep it real. Many others are just repeating the same stuff they've heard but don't really know what they are talking about. That part about python? That's where I've been slipping. I've been wasting time trying to learn general python.
Yes, we subscribed to your channel a long time ago and have gained immense value from almost every video you’ve created. It’s truly rewarding to see the impact of your content. However, we have one question: When will we get the opportunity to experience your full courses and bootcamps, where we can truly see the sun and the light?
Since i started watching, not quite a long time but still I aquire substantial knowledge from each and every video of yours. Thanks for that.. Keep sharing stuffs❤👍🏽
That's why i subscribed to your channel, I truly appreciate the content and clean explanations which are very helpful for every beginner and professional to get jumped into Data analytics ...🎉 Love from India
Hey Mo! Great video-right on point! It's so true that you can dive into software, but without a solid grasp of the basics, you're bound to struggle. I recently took a foundational course in statistics, and it’s been a game-changer. My work productivity has skyrocketed, and I finally have a clear understanding of what to look for when tackling business problems.
Lovely video. I just wanted to emphasize on something, that learning the basics of programming is essential in my opinion. I wouldn't understand scikit-learn without understanding basic object oriented programming. If you want to use python seriously, then things like OOP, loops, lists and dics comprehensions, are really important. Things like regular expressions come really handy in textual analyses and important to some extent as well.
I recently joined you and I'm struggling to learn the basics. I've tried hard to find good resources for learning statistics and math, but most tutorials are based on data science. I kindly request you to create a good video covering these basics.
Wow, this just makes me feel so much better I am done With pandas, Numpy, matplotlib, started my Excel course Is it appropriate to use VS code editor for Data analysis or Jupiter ???
The video is amazing. If you could plz recommend any good resources for the basics that u mentioned for the quantitative, qualitative, categorical & etc… to learn. I’ve been struggling a lot in my career as a data analyst for not knowing these skills.
Hi Mo, I wanted to ask if you would make a video on blindspots that baby DAs may have? Anything you can point out that newbies usually mess up with and briefly how to avoid them? 🙏
THIS GUY DESERVE MORE VIEWS!!!!!! I cant describe to you enough how I almost regard you as one of those people who does explanatory videos just for the sake of views and no more from them. Yet I decided to stay with you cause I was "lazy" unsubscribing. I am proud of my decision cause you, among very few, make perfect sense! And you made one video after the other. I will go thru your course and subscribe when im more financially ready hehehe. My currency is not as strong as yours. But I already have started certifications to experience what you recommend. Yes, Excel is powerful
Can you clarify whether case studies and guesstimates are important to prepare for interviews? If yes, then can you make a separate video for that targeting specially someone who has never done botj
Hi Mo , first of all, thank you for your great advice, I was wondering if you have any mentorship program ? I would like to have a mentor as a guide for improving my skills that you teach them in your channel.
Hey, I am rejected by recruiter many times not because of skills but language I am not well in German or Dutch so they do this . Not feeling well, depressed
I am a so called a "Data Analyst" in a transport company. My boss background is not a analytical person and i do not have data base access right so, what i can do is... using the existing report (in Excel) to deal with the questions from my boss which without guideline or advice i am struggle if you were me, what is your honest advice, thank you
Hey Mo, thanks for your insightful video. I have a question for Power Bi visualisation, if you’re using a company Mac, and PowerBI desktop are not supportive on Mac. Company laptop doesn’t allow to install the window into it. Do we use excel file, upload and operate on web PowerBi? Or is just better to use a window laptop
Perfect!! One tool that is crucial in this edge is Generative AI.. ChatGPT and the like... Now issue with certifications is that 1.They usually teach MORE/LESS than is generally required in terms of practical relevance 2.MOST usually expire ... I would recommend you get a CHEAP Qualification esp Post Graduate level [forget about expensive ones from MIT and the like because they mostly teach the same stuff anyway].. But any Bachelors is a good foundation.. If you like certifications GO AHEAD PLEASE.. But MOST IMPORTANT include your technical skills on the appendix of your CV....The MORE the better..Dont be SHY!!
Sir what about those newly released AI data analytics tools. Can you make a video where you build an AI agent which can Analyse data better than data analysts out there. I know no tool can be that perfect but still does half of the job so that it becomes hassle free for the Analyst.
There is no issue to learn sql or whatsoever. Problem is to actually get a job in UK. Economic is crashing and only ai filtered HR jobs, fake data collection jobs. And no one need workers without years of experience. Minimum what they ask here is 5 years + for junior jobs
Mo, a question regarding Microsoft Excel. Is knowledge of VBA necessary for an entry-level position? I'm proficient in functions, formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, I know a little bit of DAX and M, and how to prepare simple macros, but I can't really edit them in VBA.
Thanks Mo. I did Google sheets, and my mind was spinning. I am on a bootcamp, and I have done Microsoft excel and Power BI, I love it. I also did Tableau, and I liked it too. I am busy with projects and redoing Python which was a bit complex but going over it again has helped.

You are so intelligent. Handsome too. Great video.❤
The best thing about Mo is he explains context and not just technical skills.

You did what 99% of the people didn't do. You did the really "boring" bit. Well done!
Hey, can you share the statistics course you took? I've been trying to look for one
LET'S GO MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really helpful/ informative, this is definitely a career / craft strategy to a financial data analysist. let's step back a little bit to basics.

Great video Mo!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you. I think I am ok with math, statistics, and tools. My weakness now is data storytelling. I should focus here
Good luck!
Thanks for your advice Mo, it was really helpful and will apply it, also, on every new stuff i would like to learn in the future!

Great advice as always! Another programming language that would be useful to learn (if you your company is using Google sheets) is JavaScript
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you mo
Any time
great stuff
Wow, this just makes me feel so much better
I am done

Learn the SQL concepts, especially window functions. But don't get bogged down in trying to write the syntax by hand. AI does this easily.
The video is amazing.

Hi Mo,

Please check out my How to become an analyst and How to build a data career playlists. Those will give you infinite insights.
What video do you recommend I watch so that I can learn well the basics?
I have an assignment coming soon so I need to be prepared.

Hello Mo! Can you recommend anywhere that I can learn more about Data Mapping for Migrations using SQL?
how do they teach in coursera, do we have to take a power bi subscription along with the course?
sir do a tuto on making a professional portfolio for data analytics from scratch
