This is a tough one. Washington is a really good program..I also see the warning signs for this coming season. One or 2 games can flip the season..In this new age of college football..no end result would suprise me. This may be one that you later eat some crow on.
I do feel like Washington is a sneaky good program they have been to the playoffs twice

This year is going to be a massive adjustment with Washington going to the big ten, much talent leaving, and Debour leaving. I’m also not completely sold on Washington’s new head coach. I have Washington going 7-5 with losses to Michigan, Iowa, USC, Penn State, and Oregon.

I don’t even know if they’ll beat Washington State. Washington State will be very motivated to win since they got left behind. But yeah 5-7 or 6-6 is probably where they’ll end up.

I would be surprised if they missed a bowl entirely, although I didn’t see TCU missing one last year so who knows. I think Will Rogers is a good QB.

Lou, if you can get Washington win total at 7 games, bet the house on the Under!! The only way you lose the bet is if Washington wins 8 or more games. If you are correct and Washington goes 2-2 against Washington State, Rutgers, Indiana, and UCLA, then Washington would have to go 3-2 against Michigan, @Iowa, USC, @Penn State, and @Oregon to get to 8 wins. No way Washington wins 3 of those 5 games. You got them going 0-5 in those games. And even if you are wrong about Indiana or Rutgers and Washington wins one of those games, Washington would still have to go 2-3 against Michigan, Iowa, USC, Penn State, and Oregon. Bet the UNDER Washington 7 wins; I don't care what the juice is!!
5-7; agree. FanDuel has their win total at 6.5, but juiced heavily to the Over (-145). The Under 6.5 is +118. I think I'm going to jump on that Under 6.5 at plus money! Yeah, I can see 6 wins, but 7 wins, no. The only way Washington gets to 7 wins is if they beat Rutgers, Indiana, AND UCLA. They are not winning all three of those games in my opinion. And they still would have to beat Washington State and Northwestern..

5-7. Lost a lot and will need to adjust to a new conference and a new coach. Year 3 of Jedd Fisch is when I think Washington will start competing for the big 10 title.

As an Arizona fan, I hope they lose every game. As much as I hate to say it, it wouldn’t surprise me if they squeaked into a bowl game - Fisch is pretty good at scheming. Probably the most underrated player Fisch took with him from Arizona, was AZ commit Demmond Williams. He’ll be their backup QB this year, but he’s really good. Very Noah Fafita - esque.
They’re success is going to revolve around how good their O-line is

Wow you go from being number 2 to barrel scrap. That's so weird seemed to me when I watched college football teams when I was young in 70 s 80;s 90s that teams stayed consistently good after a big season even contenders . The only reason you get coaching changes was when the team was dismal and you fired the coach but today's coaches players leave them high and dry all about the mighty dollar I mean do we really think Washington is going be this bad or is Alabama going save it's ass hauling deboer away when saban left ?? Im never taking Rutgers seriously. They got lucky their schedule was easy last season. Until they beat OSU,Michigan, or Penn St then they are still below average.

Rutgers had the 4th most difficult schedule in the Big Ten last year, and they were able to go to a bowl game and beat Miami. They had a top 15 defense and the Big Tens leading rusher. This year, they return everyone on defense, their lead rusher, and picked up solid transfers from the portal. This years team is significantly better than last years. Rutgers vs. Washington game is definitely a toss up game. Keep in mind that they play Rutgers in Jersey, and for the past couple of seasons, they've had sold out games.
