I no longer live in OC, but I love Almond Haus and Omomo. But whenever I visit It feels like a new shop pops up. Thanks for reviewing these places makes me miss my hometown I'm due for a visit!
It's so cool that you're featuring Orange County!!! There are a bajillion boba places here though lol. Some of my favorites are R&B tea, Sunright Studio, and 7 Leaves. I've heard great things about TP Tea as well and would like to try that place someday. Great video!
Yes soo many options in OC! Thank you for featuring some places (some of these are still on my to visit list like Bako and orobae, please do more! Sunright and TP tea are some of my favorites!
We will have to try Bako. I generally prefer Orobae over Omomo because of the strong tea taste, but both are great. There is another boba tea shop nearby that is lesser known but is my personal favorite in OC, called YOYO. Very inventive drinks and they have coffees too.
Boba is a serious business! Thx for taking us along! I had no idea there were so many different types! Your children and your mom are adorable!❤️❤️❤️❤️
OMG we were just in Garden Grove last week yesterday actually while in Disneyland man i wish i would have seen this love love Boba yummy !! Were going back next month so hopefully we can try them out !! Fun video !!
Really nice Video ❤ I never ever had a Boba Tea in my life 😂 I like mixed tea drinks but that was a bit too fancy for me. So interesting to see the different variations & tastes. Also how they prepare it. Well done ❤❤
Last year I tried Feng Cha for my first time, I ordered the most favorite drink too, it was a good drink. don't worry I can described to you, what boba drink were you planning to get, the one I got it was excellent.
I have to be the only one who doesn’t like Boba Tea I’ve tried it and just not my thing, and I’ve tried it again bc I am so picky but didn’t like it still. Idk how it’s so popular too but hey this was fun to watch! 😊have a great week Dzung 💜
You must visit Cupertino, CA too for Boba! :) There are 4 truly, truly tasty boba/milk tea within 4-7min drive from each other. Tea Top, TP Tea, Cozy Tea Loft, and Ceremony are my favorite in all of SF bay area
I guess you haven’t been to Chinatown in Houston. I’m soooo overwhelmed with the anoint of boba spots there are here like 8-12 boba shops per plaza!! It’s wild!!!
IMO they only have one good drink which is the matcha. I feel their other drink aren;t that good but the matcha is soooo bomb. I would drive 1 hour for the matcha.
having boba only once (not that it's bad just hard to find around here) i really can't imagine people waiting in line, esp standing, for the drink. the one i tried was one of those liquid ones, which is fun, but didn't pair with the tea. probably my fault. but i just really don't like chewing with my drink lol
LOVE this video as I always like it when people go to multiple locations and compare so my lazy arse doesn't have to. 🤣 I love the 2nd place (Boka?) because of the ambiance/decor...yes, I'm shallow like that. 😆 But it seemed like you reacted better to Feng Cha for all the drinks.
Omomo is pretty good! I don’t think you got the right drinks that you would’ve liked. The uji matcha is really good & I think you needed lower sweetness on your other drinks.
Costa Mesa - that dirty boba tbh looks wayyyy too milky and not enough brown sugar. imo it isnt good brown sugar milk if you can't see any brown left smeared on the cup after stirring. one of my favourite brown sugar boba milk i've had in my country is "tiger sugar brown sugar boba milk", you can google it to have a look!
Love this video, more palce to try boba. Honestly, the hype shop are usually the most let down. For ex, xing fu tang, isn't really good. Their boba is amazing but the milk tea is more tea and less milk. I don't like milk tea that are not creamy. The boba was amazing but it always get stuck in the straw. You literally have to pull it out with your hand or suck super hard. Their shop is so beautiful but the customer service is lacking. I order online, wait 30 min, and when I went to pick it up; they were just making the drink. There was no other customer beside me. I love OROBAE, perfect mix of tea and milk. I strongly agree, if the shop make a good milk tea; everything else usually great.
almond haus is actually so underrated plus everything is non dairy and they give samples employees are super nice too 🥰
"I want to give them joy" - The manager of the first boba shop; this quote made me smile
I no longer live in OC, but I love Almond Haus and Omomo. But whenever I visit It feels like a new shop pops up. Thanks for reviewing these places makes me miss my hometown I'm due for a visit!
Could you make this a series! Perhaps trying even more boba shops (I wouldn't mind a part 2 hehe) or other desserts c:

wow they all look so appealing. Boba lovers in OC are so lucky

You should try Bobateaque hidden gem in city of Orange. Owner is super nice. And Taty’s specialty coffee and tea in Westminster.
I loved all of your outfits!
Oh man I love boba ! wish we had all those places in Pa. I'd be at one of them every day. haha
Really nice Video ❤ I never ever had a Boba Tea in my life 😂 I like mixed tea drinks but that was a bit too fancy for me. So interesting to see the different variations & tastes. Also how they prepare it. Well done ❤❤
You should do this again in Taiwan. In Taipei, there's like two shops on every block lol
Ooh yes my friend owns Almond Haus- sehee!
God bless you. Jesus loves you.
Love boba 😂

Loves this
i can only dream of having these many boba spots
I grew up in GG and Westminster. I Love these shops!!! ( Went to LQHS. ) 💕💕💕
You should definitely try Tastea, Bopomofo, TP Tea, and Da Vien!!
They are average.
I’m in love with Vietnamese coffee, but it’s hard to find out.

Omg please visit Taipei, it’s the true boba city 🤭
You must visit Cupertino, CA too for Boba! :) There are 4 truly, truly tasty boba/milk tea within 4-7min drive from each other. Tea Top, TP Tea, Cozy Tea Loft, and Ceremony are my favorite in all of SF bay area

🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I was trying to search for this old video but it was hard for me to find it. I think you should add Orange County in the title.
Feng Cha is my favorite!!! People sleeping on it.
Orobae is such a hype. The tea was so water down and super disappointing! The real winner is Omomo for me. Their matcha drink never fail me.
IMO they only have one good drink which is the matcha. I feel their other drink aren;t that good but the matcha is soooo bomb. I would drive 1 hour for the matcha.
Never tried this ,interesting
How about Sunright?
I wish I would’ve gotten boba when I visited Taiwan 🇹🇼
It's so good I just came from taiwan
Jack in the box had me cracking up rofl

Oh is from Taiwan!! I didn't know
metal buddha is probably a direct translation of 铁观音 (tieguanyin) which is a variety of Chinese tea!
What would you recommend for beginner boba tea?
❤
Where this boba is located at?
I think Hokkaido milk tea just means it’s made with milk from Hokkaido, Japan.
next time you back home in the bay area you have to try kiss my boba in san bruno its tongan boba shop

Almond Haus is not the same before. Since an original owner sold his brand & moved to another location. This place is not as good as before.

Booo no more Jack in the box boba, would have been interesting to see how it compares
