In your opinion, is the AWE exhaust as loud as or louder than the Borla Atak on the 6.2 truck?

Love the video and the sound is awesome! Really debating on getting this exhaust for my 2021 Trail Boss 5.3L. I want something a little louder than the Borla touring that I had on my 2016 Silverada 5.3L. The only thing I am afraid of is pissing my neighbors off.

Great video thank you! I’m looking to upgrade now along with a CAI cooling intake, after both are done would you recommend performing a tuning?

Be careful with intake make sure you look at your fuel trims after you install. Running too lean is not good for your engine. Some create a vortex and mess up the MAF sensor numbers and pcm constantly has to adjust

Sounds incredible, what about performance gains, HP, Torque? I’ve yet to hear of any performance gains, can’t find any on awe-tuning website.

most cat back systems will not give you alot of gains. If you want that, you need to make mods to the engine itself, or add headers.

Yeah that kind of annoys me too. Corsa makes claims of 17hp and 15 torque gains.

Nice obviously you took out the resonators in the back that’s why it’s louder and did you mention what kind of mufflers you used Sorry if I missed that part ✌️🇨🇦👍👍

It’s a cat back of course it gets rid of the resonators it’s a whole new exhaust system!! And I want this so badly!!
