Thank you so much! I wasn't sure on what subs to buy for a new box build and now you gave me a good suggestion! I have 8 12 inch SPL subs that are only $20 and I am running them on a 1,200 watt $300 amp. I entered a bass competition and hit 146 decibels. Thanks again for helping me!
Purchased 2-8" Rockville wake tower speakers for my RZR. Blew one of them about the 3rd ride. I can hear it rattling. I have 2 6.5" wake tower pods loaded with kicker speakers from Walmart on the same 4 channel amp. The kickers are still killing it. Rockville is definitely value priced and a contender. I don't think it's up to kickers quality and reputation yet. I'm pulling the Rockville out of the pod and loading with some boss audio to try them out. If those don't hold up, I'll go back to my original thoughts and load them with the ol rock steady kicker
I've been searching high and low for a decent sub at a decent price and I think I might order these in the next week or so! I'll shoot a video when I get them in!
Just by what I looked up and can tell these Rockville are way better than boss double stacked awesome but idk about along kicker would have to hear or see some serious tests proving this
I bought the two 15" package with the mono Kicker 1000.1 amp. I can't wait to hook them up with my Kicker 400.4 amp and 2 farad cap. This is the first time I'm going to have highs and lows. I'm hooking the four channel amp to some JL Audio door and rear speakers. I'll make a video after install.
How did the 15s performed? Am planning in getting some of these.am i will b putting them on a hifonics brx 2400.1. But i need more reviews on these subs.
All that $30.00 boss you are comparing will actually take its rated for more than a minute. Rockville will not. That kicker will all around destroy that Rockville in every way. Your subs are a failure.

I have the 500w peak 300 rms 12 inch in my car and I'm upgrading to a more powerful model ,not that the 500 doesn't get the job done ,I just want a bit more oooomph in the trunk of my cavalier!😀
Vanessa Anonymous what is the ohm load you are running your subs at and how low of a load can your current amplifier take are using a monoblock are you using a real copper 0 gauge wire for power in a true 0 gauge steel for the ground what kind of speaker wire are using
how large can the Rockville W12K6-D4 subwoofer excursion? i currently have 2 of these and im going to power it with a Pioneer GM-D8601 with a 2 gauge power kit and each sub is going to have rockville 8 gauge wire going to the box and 14 gauge wire going to each coil with a 40 amp fuse on each sub.
I have 2 of the newer K6 12s, in a sealed enclosure. I'm rocking them with a APMI1300 audiopipe mono amp. @ 1ohm. All I can say is WOW,,,!!!!!!! ROCKVILLE FOR THE WIN...!!!

'with a box/amp, etc' I was curious to getting this sub or the 15" model, a few months ago. Couldn't find them on rockvilles site or on ebay. So I had to get a comparible JBL model for 50$ But! I'll be getting a new car come beginning of next year. Actually have subs in stock, I'll think about it again ;-)

Rockville = ok budget amps good pre Fab boxes .That's it.
Try the ccx chaos boss break them in for a week I've had mine fir daily use a year plus.Getting better as time goes by .

You should have someone talk about these subwoofers, and do a sound comparison, or measurements. Materials and 3D views are secondary.

my friends has a set of 12s they sound pretty good.but they cannot out perform kicker cvr
