- It's been 3 years since traveling overseas and now that the borders are open we went on our first trip out of Australia. We had a different kind of adventure in Fiji. A much slower and relaxed pace than what we usually get up to. This kind of travel is such a great way to destress and the fact that Fiji is only a couple hours away from Australia makes for a very accessible getaway. Fiji offers not only luxurious hotels but other unique experiences such as floating bars where you can enjoy eating, drinking, swimming, and sunbathing.
