    Is it just me or does the siege tower seem kinda weak?
    For its slow speed and the fact that it needs to be deployed to fire its main cannon it could deserve a little more damage I think.

    Is it possible to tie the civilian population spawns on a planet to influence? e.g. high influence will prevent hostile civilian spawns, to make taxing them have consequences in-battle.

    The shipmarket could be a massive power boost for the CSA against the player. Usually they were pretty easy to handle due to their Lucrahulk spam

    Did you guys tweak the death animation for the Golans? It looks a little different to me, like broken sections are falling away from each other differently.

      Yes, I have tweaked alot of my death clones from the X.1 release and am continuing doing more for X.2

    I wonder if by any chance to have the political option as the Pentastar Alignment to be able to choose whether you want the Pentastar logo on most of your vehicles and ships or not?

      This would be something of a resource hog to do in a way that doesn't look like shit. We'd essentially have to cut out that part of the model, do a duplicate of the texture, and put the logo on (which means a *lot* of extra textures), then have a script swap out that bit of the model when it's controlled by the PA. Not especially worth it at this point.

    Sorry to ask it here but(if someone can help me)
    Im trying to mod foc (republic at war sub mod) and I wanted to recolour the Eta2 jedi fighter of aayla secura(she has darth eta2 something) but for some reason it doesnt have a texture, i mean it has but its blank and only R2 appers in blender(using the alo ala plugin) and im wondering if theres a solution to this, so i can re color some parts to be blue like aayla
    Also in game the eta2 looks good it does have textures so thats why I dont understand.

    One thing I haven't seen you address: how robust is the autoresolve in your mods? I have Thrawn's Revenge downloaded but I'm hesitant to actually play it because in my experience I simply cannot be arsed with ground battles.
    Edit: Also, can you do a quick tutorial on how you're renaming those ships?

      Autotesolve isn't moddable. We have a system for determining the AI combat power value and categories, which both tells the AI how strong a ship is and whatnot generally does, and which is what autotesolve uses, but beyond that you can't change the logic for how autotesolve works in EaW. We have also done a lot of work to make ground battles enjoyable.
      I may do a tutorial on thatbatbsome.point, but it's just coding a new unit and giving it a specific name, there's nothing particularly special about it.

      And I eagerly await that tutorial, because I have been stockpiling ISD and CR-90 names for something like fifteen-twenty years.

      @@trekker105 Autoresolve on ground battles is for the most part pretty favorable to the attacker - you can send 100 units against at most 10 units on defense, so you usually win with fairly few losses.
      In my experience, especially planets with ground buildings only and no defending units will usually autoresolve with next to no losses to the attacker.

      I have been playing the empire of the hand and the ground auto resolve has been pretty favorable, usually only one or two units lost. Unless there are some really strong units, then losses can be a little more. Those have been for battles where I have been the attacker. If I choose to build up a planet so I can defend it on the ground, I usually play those battles because I don’t want to loose the planet. One thing I really like about TR is that if you zoom in to the planet from the galactic level, then zoom in again you can choose which slot the building go in and which where on the map the defending units spawn. That is really powerful because it lets you preposition your units almost like you can in space battles (even though you just pick which slot they spawn in) it makes ground defensive much more playable for me.

    Should the tower really look just like a GMod moving building? Needs some Repulsarlift effect or something (Not to be that guy, I know this is New Stuff)

      Other repulsor vehicles have some sort of magnetic field effect, so you maybe are right, in my opinion I would add also some mobile turrets for the AP lasers, will make it look less boring, not because is ugly but at the end is a moving block.

    At your last battle you only brought in half of what you could have why did you do that you could have decimated them with fire power but you chose not to was there a reason
