Their basic law restricting knives is called "Offensive Weapons Act". That measure just would not fly in the USA. The common law principle is the state will protect you from aggressors and therefore you need to be rendered defenseless. Even if someone has invaded your home and you beat them severely with a billy club, you are a violator.
I carry a full sized Kabar in my bag, I'd imagine they'd consider that "Offensive" or whatever since it's a combat knife lmao. It's just fucking absurd, a knife is a knife. If you get stabbed by a 3 inch knife you are still going to get hurt and potentially die, the few less inches doesn't make it non lethal. Maybe it makes it slightly less deadly for stabbing, but it'll still slash the same damn way any other knife would. Also the term zombie knife is fucking stupid lol, to be fair tho I feel like most tools/weapons branded as "zombie killers" or something similar are actually more of a danger to the user than anyone it could potentially be used against. From my experience every product I have ever bought that used zombie themed branding was dog shit and broke super easily, except the gun case I got that's zombie themed that's actually held up pretty well.
Yea there’s a dude out there who collects knives from criminals and he was showing off the knives he got and they were all shitty gas station knives and lame machetes lol.
@@woll2633 Lmao yea, criminals aren't picky they take what they can get. They don't really care about the utility of a knife or gun, they just want something that looks intimidating.
Yea that’s true but I don’t think it necessarily extends to theft. I think knives are subject to theft in the UK (like guns here) but I don’t think criminals are willing to risk getting stabbed for a knife. Knives have their place but in the US for self defense they’re so common children carry them.
@@woll2633 Yea I don't think they're stealing them, you can buy knives for dirt cheap online if you can't in person, wouldn't be surprised if criminals were using drop shipped knives from china lol. It's not like most criminals care all that much about leaving a paper trail, especially these days with how lax the justice systems in most western nations has become.
"This is a POS" lol!
The knives they can carry are the knives we barely enjoy owning lol.
@@woll2633 it’s crazy hilarious. Lol. God we are lucky in this great country. Hopefully we can keep it this way.
Sounds like a giant prison yard.
That’s what I’m saying. That was one of my thoughts watching Tyler’s video.
@@woll2633 That guy is cool.

Insanity lol
And I heard you can't legally defend yourself against crime, like getting mugged or raped
Makes the UK undesirable to visit.
