Applying SC1 high gloss coating to 2022 Polaris Ranger Northstar Ultimate before and after

- Another new experiment for me! In today's episode I will be taking some advice from a friend who also has a Polaris Ranger Northstar Ultimate UTV. He suggested that before I even get the Ranger dirty to apply a coating of SC1 high gloss coating, aka 'New bike in a can,' to the entire Polaris Ranger Northstar ultimate, including the entire under body, skid plate, suspension and then of course the plastic body. Join us today as we share the process of this application, mix in some trail riding videos of the Northstar Ultimate, mix in some humor, compare a tire and rim both with the SC1 and without, and then a final after look after some muddy trail riding! The new bike is nice Kapper. I've used SC1 throughout the years on several machines. Back in my mud riding days it made clean up much easier.

You got a great shine and protection for sure.
we have used sprays like wd40 in the past, when you could find off brands at 99 cents a can we would coat wheel wells and underneath and the mud wouldn`t stick as bad, it worked.
Looks as though you need to upgrade your lights to LED, I did and what a difference it made! Nice ride Joe!

The finish looks nice! Time will tell how easily the mud will rinse off.
I’ve used sc1 for years. If your good about reapplying it at every wash it will keep your machine looking new. Yes you can use it on cars and trucks. The plastic on my 2014 pickup still looks great no sun fade. Including the headlights and taillights. No chalky lights. It seems to do a good job against UV damage. Don’t know if it’s labeled for that but it works. It’s not a cheap product but like in the video I only wash my atv’s, utv’s and tractor two-three times a year so not a problem on the price. Cheap insurance in my humble opinion.
Does it attract dust like armor all or wd 40? Looks great by the way!!

Kap, it's probably a silicon spray. I get the Macs silicon at NAPA, and works great for applications like this, and I think it's $5-6 can, Blaster brand is also good.
Joe, what happened with Shon's Mustang?
so is this product specific to just atv's or can it be used on cars and trucks?
I think people misuse this stuff underneath just like you said spray and leave on the atv itself spray and wipe

For a good test, lets take it thru the Duck Pond a couple times and across the whoop tee doo's.
I would have a very hard time taking that out in the mud for the first time! 😒
