At first all the mares would even pick on him since he had no idea how to be around other horses. Then we got the idea to put him out with Bud, a Percheron gelding whose owner never came to see him. Bud gently and lovingly helped Hunter to learn the ropes and soon between our care, he became a popular member of the herd. Horses are amazing!

If you knew about horse breeding terminology you might rethink that sentence 🤣🤣🤣 I worked with shires much of my life including out in the USA on a shire stud over there. A “Phantom” is… well the description is a little nsfw 🤣

I have been following Gentle Giants Rescue for over 6 years and give to their program. This is a legitimate rescue that needs our support.. no amount is too small. I do own 2 horses and understand the work, cost and time involved in loving and caring for a horse. These gentle giants ..many are sent for slaughter when their usefulness is over.. the fortunate ones are rescues !!
