Passenger seat airbag sensor replacement on a Chevy Cobalt

finishing the process of upgrading my 2009 Chevy Cobalt interior from cloth to leather by swapping out the passenger seat airbag sensor which is different from model year to model year

Do you think if I swap the bottom passenger seat on my 2015 Cadillac ats with a used one that’s exactly the same. the exact year model. Should work right?
