- It took me a while to work out the best way to get into and out of my Legal Eagle with the least amount of fuss.

You do a great job with your videos. Keep me coming. I’m about to start building. These videos will be inspirational for me over the next six months to a year.
Awesome! Thank you!
Perfect timing, for me to watch this video! I managed to purchase a build in progress last weekend (it is a piece of art...very well built, with lots of documentation and photos). Anyways, I crawled into the fuselage last night, and thought...what a pain in the ass! Will try your technique tomorrow.
Where can we purchase plans for the Legal Eagle? Leonard's website appears to be inoperative.
I wanted to build one of these for a couple of years and now I finally have my own house but the garage is converted into a one bedroom unit and considering I have to share what's left of the backyard area with the tenant's car I just don't really have room to start building one unless I build some sort of triangular shape shed that takes up my entire backyard area. kind of breaks my heart I mean I know I could start on the tail section or maybe some wing ribs until I get a bigger house but man I just love everything about this little plane from the easiest assembly to the Volkswagen engine to everything
All I can suggest is to buy one already built as they are generally cheaper complete on the second hand market than the sum of their components.
Same method as I use on my Sherwood Kub, might not look as cool as just slipping in but at just over 6ft 4" it allows me to get in without issue.
Works a treat!
@@DCSquared I agree.
Do you do any cross country flights in the Legal Eagle?
@@flyingkub I plan to do a few trips which is why I went with the 2 x fuel tanks. With a total of 50 litres and a burn rate under 7 litres an hour, I'll need a strong bladder!
@@DCSquared Near 7 hrs you will need to take food as well. So auto pilot is next to fit? :-) Just in case you fall asleep!!! I was thinking of building one with the three cylinder radial but they have halted production and not saying when it will start again. That said I do like my Sherwood Kub as I am indoors (needed here is the UK with all the sun we have).
Engine?

Is this the original LE or a LEXL?
Hi Ryan. It is actually a hybred of both.
