WALL-E, short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class, is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. But during 700 years, WALL-E has developed a personality, and he's more than a little lonely. Then he spots EVE (Elissa Knight), a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy.

Lilo and Stitch next video please you’ll love it trust me!
loved the sponsor skit
I saw the thumbnail and Wall-e IS an amazing masterpiece
On the dvd they talk about an ending where they were gonna let WALL·E stay a mindless robot
Hey if you guys loved WALL•E, then I would recommend one of my favorite childhood movie, it's called Short Circuit. I think you guys will love it, it's a classic 🤗❤
The best part of this movie is that, Auto is not really a villain at all. Auto's commands were to control the axiom and protect the humans and do not return to earth, hes just following what he was told to do
Unfortunately for him, his voice is straight out of _All Your Base Are Belong To Us._ (Probably the same software.)
Yeah, they were comparing him to Hal 9000 but Auto’s directive was to ensure the survival of the humans on board. He wasn’t out to win, he wasn’t rogue. He never would have cut off the oxygen supply!
@@BeeWhistler Not evil so much as an AI without the capacity for compassion or reason, just pure logic and directive following.
@@BeeWhistler Hal 9000 was also doing what he was told. It was explained in the second film Hal did the way he did because he was given contradictory instructions from Earth.
@@RetroRobotRadio there is no second film, and no book either :P
To me, WALL-E is one of those animated movies that was way ahead of its time and is quite underrated in terms of recognition. For an animated movie that was released in 2008, its animations and visuals still hold up to this day. Even the message portrayed throughout the movie is simple, clear, and is something everyone of all ages should be aware of to this day. But what I really love the most about this movie that makes it pretty unique is how limited the script for the main characters is, yet audiences are still able to draw a connection to these characters and care deeply about them. This is one of those movies that makes full and proper use of the *"show, don't tell"* aspects throughout it, and I highly respect the movie for achieving that.
Underated?????!!! It won an Oscar for best animated motion picture and several more accolaides, it was at huge success and a lot of people know about it.
I agree with you 100% on everything else but the underrated part. This movie won the best award an animated film can get so I believe atleast the academy gave it's due recognition to this film. Also it was really everywhere at the time even in my country the Philippines, I played the psp game in my childhood days and I had the dvd it just wasn't as big as other great animation films as it should be.
There are actually a LOT of levels of depth that are subtly present in this masterpiece of a movie. For example: there is a subtle pro-LGBTQ message. The 'malfunctioning' robots could easily be representative of unaccepted LGBTQ people. And the message is that they don't need to be fixed just because they don't do what is expected of them by society. And also with WALL-E and EVE. Neither one has an actual gender, yet everyone understands each is male or female even though neither one follows any sort of gender stereotype. They essentially displayed their own chosen gender and pronoun without aggressively shoving it in our faces. The movie is brilliant in every way.
It wasn’t underrated, just that it didn’t get any sequels like Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc, etc, so it was easier for it to get pushed to the background.
@@reighniz4488 I never caught that. Thank you! Today I learned...
Here's the thing: Auto is not a villain in the traditional sense. He's just following his directive, which is don't go back to earth under any circumstance.
Right! That’s what I was thinking. In its “mind”, he’s protecting them from what he thinks will kill them all. It’s just all this robot murder that makes him look bad 😂😂😂
something worth noting though, as long as Auto and the human race is in space, he has full control of everything, so is the directive the reason or the excuse to stay in space? this is sorta hinted at with the captain pictures with him getting closer with every new captain, in his mind A113 has made him the captain of the ship.
but he could've changed his directive just like Eve did
Following orders doesn't excuse you of blame. Auto, like any AI, didn't need to do what he was told. He made the decision to, because he knew he'd be without purpose and power if he went back home.
Just like Wall-E and Eve, he could've changed if his desires didn't get in the way if his decisions.
@@smileyhappyface5864guess you don't know what directive means lol
Fun facts:
-WALL·E’s sound when he charges up is based on the Apple chime when turning an Apple computer on
-Eve was design by the designer of the iPod
-Auto is voice by an Apple voice program (also is the only robot not voiced by a human to prove how cold he really is)
Actually if you watch the end credits. you can see the humans and robots working together to rebuild earth. Then the art style changes from pre historic art to Egyption art and then with color, showing how humans are rediscovering art, technology etc. pretty wholesome sequence to end off the film 😃
Wnounounp
Lgnlynpyno😢❤
That's what I'd like the possible sequel to be about... Just invent another villain on earth and make another Wall-E Eve adventure!!!!!!!
And if you continue watching, you’ll see that the plant grows into the tree from bugs life.
Does that mean that theoretically, the bug's life movie takes place at that moment?
Wall-e surprisingly has a lot of dystopian themes.
Imagine if Wall-E and Eve were anime characters?
@@Kaijufan360 don't make me imagine that
@@Kaijufan360 Like, human or still robots but in anime theme?
Because if they're still robots, then I just think Pixar did it first and did it better
@@mr.boomguy Nah, I'm just joking. Don't worry about that it won't happen.
4:11 There is actually an official theory that one of the directors mentioned which was basically, "when everyone left the planet, they shut all the other robots off except they forgot one", which is why some of the busted Wall-E's are just frozen in various positions, like they were in the middle of working or something
Isn't there a confirmation on what happens to the other wall-es in the games were they were killed by sand storm and our wall-e survived because of the house
How do you miss one?!
@@stephanniemorin imagine trying to click millions of buttons to turn off millions of robots individually? You'd miss a few buttons if you click them so Damm fast.
If it's by controlling, then it makes sense It'd be more of an “Out of Range” situation.
@@palestine3852 bruh, what are you trying to even say?!
In an official prequel comic book produced by BOOM!, the all the wall-es' batteries stopped working except our wall-e's.
If you notice when wall e was convincing eve to go back to earth it’s also because it is the only place to find replaceable parts for him. That’s when eve realized the other reason to go back. Beautiful Pixar movie. Also if you listen to the theme song “Down to the Earth” it will probably inspire you to make a difference yourself for the planet 🌎 we love.
It sort of shoots itself in the foot. The movie insists we should return and nurture Earth...yet Earth clearly recovered just fine without us. Besides that, the planet itself was perfectly fine, in any case, life or no life. Life is a bug in the universe, not a feature.
@@DoremiFasolatido1979 Forgive me, but I'm going to assume that you're an atheist based on this comment. That is no way to look at life!
@@jordancooney6817 and you’re what? Christian? Islamic? Must be nice praying to an imagination.
@@EnaLikes I'm not going to entertain your insults. Shut up.
@@DoremiFasolatido1979 I mean if we ever want to get to the point of leaving Earth we’re going have to keep it breathable also while I respect your atheist views don’t go insulting other people’s religions it’s just a pathetic thing to do
Just here to remind you all that wall-e spent 700 years by himself doing his job making those giant skyscraper sized trash towers all alone with all of his fellow brethren working themselves to death and the only way he was able to survive for so long was by using parts from his deceased brothers to keep going… just gonna let that sink in.
Also fun fact, in the graphic novel “Wall-E recharge” not only does it explain how his brothers worked themselves to death, but it also explains that at first during his life, Wall-E actually didn’t do his job. He liked to wander around and collect stuff while his brothers worked for endless hours on end. Eventually, he became the last one, and since he hadn’t really done much work, he was in fairly good condition. From then on, he chose to keep doing the work his fellow brethren had been doing.
(I still love this movie and always will, but it’s also a pretty dark movie that hits really close to home.)
The insect: clearly being a quiet cockroach, made obvious by how he moves and how he doesn't die

I was 40 years old when this movie came out and even though I really enjoyed Pixar movies up to then I didn’t expect much. I love this movie beyond measure. It actually made me cry. I’m 55 now but I still love this movie.
Aaaah that's just wonderful. Me and my 60 year old Dad both absolutely love it as well. It still feels like only a short while ago that it was a global hit. Tried not to cry watching this reaction here actually. Time to watch the whole thing again I guess.
Same here and I was 28 back then. It was a sad look into our reality if we give in to mass consumerism and carelessness for our environment. Personally, the ending at first was hard to watch (made me tear up) because at the time, my grandma had Alzheimer's. It was a horrible experience to watch the deterioration progress and there's nothing you can do about it. She stopped being verbal and even recognizing who I was. She's been gone since Christmas Eve 2010, but I'm glad she's no longer suffering.
I did a paper on Wall-E once for my film studies class in college years ago. The importance of Captain McCrea's words, "I don't want to survive. I want to live." It signifies that these two things about being alive are NOT the same thing at all.
Fun fact: The voice of Auto is no actor, it’s actually voiced by a computer called MacInTalk.
I had thought Sigourney Weaver supplied the original voice which was modified
@@dracoargentum9783 she voiced the announcement voice
@@dracoargentum9783 Sigourney is the voice of the Axiom's computer. Kind of a bit ironic, considering her connection with the Aliens franchise of movies and the main computer Ripley works with. Ha-ha!
Auto is also a pun reference to Otto Pilot in Zucker Brothers' "Airplane: The Move".
No wonder he sounded so inhuman
Eve seeing her memories of all the things Wally did for her was the sweetest thing ever because from Eve reactions and her saying “Wally” in a sad tone to me it said “aw he really does love me” like she genuinely touched that he cares about her that much
I don't wanna be that guy, but it's "wall-e"
The "cricket" is actually a cockroach named Hal after producer Hal Roach as well as reference to HAL 9000 from Space Odyssey
Fun fact: WALLE and EVE are supposed to represent apple products. That's why WALLE's charging noise is the apple start up sound. WALLE is the original blocky first generation ipod and EVE is the newer ipod touch which was still fairly new when this movie was released
42:05 If you look carefully to those captains' photos, you'll notice that AUTO got closer to the camera at each captain, an appropriate symbolism of how its presence and power grew up with the passage of time.
43:30 They're WALL-A (Waste Allocator and Load Lifter - Axiom class)
Just a big version of the WALL-E (E stands for Earth class)

Underrated????
How Is this underrated, again?
@@danielwhyatt3278 oh no, it's so good that it can only be underrated 😜

i love how wall-e has difficulty trying to say eva's name in the start of the movie cause he spent *YEARS* without saying anything, and now finally there's another being talking to him, and that's how he started learning. THAT'S SO FREAKING CUTE
Not *YEARS... **_CENTURIES_*
Most animation films are dominated by talkative and active ones, but creating your own charming, silent robot is very interesting. Plus all sorts of references to, for example, a Space Odyssey complete the film.
FD god? Is that you?

_Define Dancing_ is by far one of my most favorite instrumental scores in any movie. Just the strings along with a galactic feel to a waltz tempo just warms my heart and brings me to tears. An incredible scene and song. ♡
Little fun fact about the song in the credits:
That was actually supposed to be performed at the Oscars, but when Peter found out it wasn't going to be the full song, he turned it down.
Here’s a few more interesting facts/details about the movie:
1. The sound that Wall-E makes when he recharges his batteries is the same sound that a Mac makes when it boots up.
2. The voice actor who played EVE, Elissa Knight, is not really an actor; she was just an employee working at Pixar. She recorded all of EVE’s dialogue just to give the animation team something to work from while the casting people looked for a more famous actress to take the part. However, the producers ended up liking Knight’s performance in the role so much that they decided to just use her recordings in the final movie.
3. This one surprised me the most: Part of the sounds of EVE’s laser blasts were formed by tapping a slinky spring. How cool and creative is that? 🤩🤩🤩
I remember seeing Wall-E back when it was in theaters in 2008, it was incredible.
Another fact: Autopilot was voiced solely by a Macintosh Apple computer and was even credited in the cast. In fact, Wall-e has the smallest cast of a Pixar movie consisting of only about 7 voice actors.
That's insane.i rate this movie a 9.8/10,it's a very cool and awesome movie.
Not gonna lie, WALL-E is a Pixar film that I don’t revisit very often. Doesn’t mean it’s terrible, don’t get me wrong. I’m mostly in for the relationship between WALL-E and Eve because they are adorable together.😊
Same here
Wall E is a "mood movie" that you watch when you're sad on a rainy day
@@kirara4953 You got that right. It is a comfort film for me.
Same :)
Fun fact, the voice of AUTO is a modified and edited version of the Mac OS system voice "Ralph". You can make his voice with a few clicks, and I'm pretty sure you can set the edited Ralph tone as your system voice
One of my fav tidbits, M-O's name stands for Microbe Obliterator! That's why he can spot Wall-e and the plant like that, he's seeing the organic "mess" that they're both covered in. Which, while not as visually appealing as the plant, shows just how not-a-lost-cause Earth is; Wall-e is covered in microorganisms! He's literally bringing life wherever he goes! (though probably for the best that M-O was cleaning up after him. who knows how 700 years away might have changed the potency of bacteria lol)
Now that you've hit my personal favorite animated movie, would love to see you guys hit my second, 9. Gets overshadowed by Coraline from the same year but I think it deserves just as much recognition. Also interested to see if it was as much a source of childhood trauma for others as it was for me lmao.
WALL-E is definitely one of the best animated films. Thank you, Tim & Ang, for doing this collab on this heartwarming classic.
I love that you keep calling Wall-E's pet a cricket when its actually a cockroach 🤣 Trust Pixar to make a cute Cockroach lol
WALL-E and EVE are the second cutest fictional couple to me.
As far as Disney and/or Pixar go, I'm almost sure that nothing will top them.
Who are the cutest?
@@StrategicGamesEtc
Nishikata and Takagi from Karakai Jouzu No Takagi-San (Or Teasing Master Takagi-San in english).
(Like I wrote it, to me they are)
Honestly, I was waiting for this question. 🙂
I may be biased because I really like the anime though, I admit it, but I don't think it changes my opinion. 🥰
Anyway, 10/10 anime, would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone that likes childish love story and humor combined. 👍💙
(Kinda similar to the WALL-E movie now that I think about it... 🤔)
Found parodies of the series first, I didn't knew about it back then, and I really liked them, I then found Season 2 on Netflix out of nowhere... started watching it there. Found season 1 on Internet after that.
Edit on original comment: Make them third
@@MaximeLafreniere433 Well, I can't say I'm not a sucker for good love story, even if it is simplistic, and some good humor never goes awry. Looks like it recently got a third season.
@@StrategicGamesEtc
We've been having the third season for about 2 months, and as far as I know, 9 episodes are out so far.
And a movie was announced at the same time as the season 3, so there's that too.
@@MaximeLafreniere433 Cool. I'll see if I can't find it on "The Internet". ;)
I just love the subtle details in this movie. One of my favorite ones is that when Wall-E get's struck by lightning he actually goes low battery to full. That just makes me laugh.
36:35 I had completely forgotten about Eva’s “No, no.” When she thinks Wall-E died and seeing it again BROKE ME!!!
Fun fact for why old cartoons have great music. The movie production companies had orchestras on salary for movies but they thought it was a waste to pay them year round even when they didn't have anything to do so they had them play music for the cartoons. I think that set the standard for animated movies and shows.
Also Wall-E calling for Mo and vice versa at 45:33 was absolutely adorable 🥲
Wall-E's bug friend is a cockroach, not a cricket. They managed to make it look cute though!
Music is done by Thomas Newman, who also composed the soundtrack for "Finding Nemo".
WALL-E's voice was created by Ben Burtt, who is the sound designer for George Lucas' Skywalker Sound; obviously the birthplace for Star Wars' sound library.
There's one Pixar easter egg in WALL-E's truck. In the scene when WALL-E comes home for the day at the start of the film, on the shelves, you can see Rex from the Toy Story franchise, right as the door to his trailer opens.
45:25 this little scene is my most favorite scene in the entire film. The storytelling is perfect. It’s a full conversation with No words. he touches his eye and holds up the flame and it all comes full circle. The entire audience knows exactly what he’s trying to say: that everything needed to save Wally and the ship is on earth.
Walle is a masterpiece and is awfully underated it was way ahead of its time and deserves soo much more credit!
W.A.L.L-E stands for “Waste Allocation Load Lifter- Earth Class.” So the W.A.L.L-As are most likely “Waste Allocation Load Lifter- Axiom Class.”
This is my favorite movie of all time due to how well it aged for better or for worst. When I was little the movie stayed through my childhood and my life and learned a lot about it. TLDR, this movie always me me feel every time 😄
It is the greatest movie romance of all time too ❤
A really cool detail I noticed earlier in the film, when EVE breaks WALL-E's eye, the replacement eye is actually noticeably cleaner and newer-looking for them rest of the film
As a HUGE animation fan, I love Pixar and because their filmography has one of the best films ever made, it can be hard to pick a favorite, but if I HAD to pick one, my favorite Pixar movie would be Wall-e. It just hits all the right places for me: the first 20-25 minutes is like a silent film, the romance between Wall-e and Eve is very Chaplinesque (Charlie Chaplin I mean), there's sci-fi, lots of creative robots, cute moments, etc. And of course, raises questions about our potential future of planet Earth and how we need to take care of it. So yeah I can't say enough great things about this movie
Just a note for the movie, he is not low battery, that is simply the indicator telling him that his board is broken and needs to be replaced, which is also the reason he is so weak
5:41 it's actually super simple to solve a rubik's cube. There's only about 6 or 7 combinations of turns that you need to learn to fully complete it from any scramble combination. I watched a single TH-cam video on it a year ago and managed to figure it out in about 20 minutes or so. Went from never being able to solve one, to being able to do it in about 2 minutes. And I'm a hopeless alcoholic, so if I can do it, anyone can lol
Edit: solving a 3x3 is simple. 4x4 and up is where it starts to get tricky, and the algorithms you need to learn start accumulating drastically in comparison.
Same, I had a scrambled one lying in my drawer for years, so I looked up a few videos on how to solve them in the middle of the night. Stayed up the whole night practicing and by morning, I was officially a rubik's cube-solver :D
Fun Fact: The Axiom’s past captains are all modeled after Pixar employees! On the director’s commentary for the film, Andrew Stanton explained that the names of the Axiom’s past captains were taken from writers who worked for Pixar, and their portraits were caricatures of those writers.
If you want another animated masterpiece, mainly due to visual effects, you should check out Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. It’s criminally underrated and the animation is stunning!
Yes i loved legends of the guardians the owls of ghoole i watched it so many times with and without my family its definitely underrated
I don't remember much of it, but if I remember my reaction correctly the visuals were amazing, but the story only barely matched the book series, and that stopped me from enjoying it as much as I'm guessing most people do. I may rewatch it at some point to see if I change my mind though.
@@circuitgamer7759 i didn't know it based off of book until recently
@@zakkiyyabts7 I absolutely love the series (even now after rereading the series at least 50 times by now), but I just felt that the movie missed all of the best parts of the series. The movie felt more like a visuals showcase than a story to me.

The movie is set in the year 2805. The ship departed in 2105 for a 5-year cruise. But after those 5 years they receive the message from Earth that they cannot return. This also explains why the computer dates the message to the year 2110.
This movie hit me out of the blue. I saw previews but didn't expect much. Then I watched it and fell in love. 🐾🍻 So so good.
Most direct A-119 reference in any movie. Auto was based on HAL-9000 from the 2001 movie, the origin of the evil red one-eyed computer.
Wall-E was telling EVE that to save him she needs to fulfill the directive and get him back to Earth where his spare parts are.
Wall-E is such an amazing movie, even the CREDITS was amazing! And how the little plant turned into a tree in the ending? Amazing
One thing is, Wall-E allocated waste so much, he made a change at the part of earth to sustain life. How come I didn't understand all these little and big details when I was a kid.
Words can not describe how much I love this movie. For me, it is one of the few movies I've seen that I consider perfect
This is my absolute favorite Pixar movie and one of my favorite movies EVER!!!

There is actually a deleted scene when they're in the trash room with the big Wall-E's called Wall-A, where instead of EVE saving Wall-E, It's Wall-E saving EVE: and in that scene he fixes her with the lighter
I love Wall-E's little hideout with all of his treasures. He's like the robot version of Ariel. :)

Of course the sound design was going to be excellent in this movie. It was done by Ben Burt, the sound designer behind Star Wars. For behind the scenes, I would HIGHLY suggest the Director's Commentary by Director and Writer, Andrew Stanton. You would be surprised at how many themes there are, and how many came about by accident.
Would these behind the scenes be available on Disney+ or would one have to buy a DVD or Blu-ray? (Asking for a friend that’s totally not me)
@@niyaodom1944 I don't know if it's on Disney+ or not. I have it on DVD.
Every time I watch WALL-E it takes back to when I first watch the film in the cinemas back when it came out in 2008. It's one of Pixar's best movies of all time.
I saw movie in theaters in 2008
This movie don't have that much of words but we can still feel it
Wall-E was my childhood. I think my favorite thing about this movie is that it kinda got me to care more about the environment and I like how they added a cute love story in between. I can agree that Wall-E is cute.
Director Andrew Stanton explained why he used excerpts from Hello, Dolly! (1969) in an interview: "When I got to 'Hello, Dolly!' and I played 'Put on Your Sunday Clothes', and that first phrase 'Out there...' came out, it just fit musically... I finally realized, 'You know what, this song is about two guys that are just so naive, they've never left a small town, and they just wanna go out in the big city for one night and kiss a girl. That's my main character.' And then my co-writer, Jim Reardon, said, 'You know what, he could actually discover an old tape in the trash, and that's how he got inspired by it, and it's a great way to show that he's got a romantic slant.' So we started looking at the movie, and when I found the other song, 'It Only Takes a Moment', and saw the two lovers holding hands, I realized, 'That's a perfect way for my main character to express the phrase 'I love you' without being able to say it.'" The vacuuming robot that follows WALL-E and EVE has a robotic version of the song "Put On Your Sunday Clothes." It's the first two lines of the song's chorus in electronic form. Stanton had portrayed Barnaby Tucker in a 1980 high school production. Jerry Herman allowed his songs to be used in the film without fully realizing how or why. When he saw how they worked in the film, he claimed it was "genius".
To explore the possibilities of pure visual storytelling, Andrew Stanton and the Pixar team watched every single Charles Chaplin and Buster Keaton movie, both short films and features, every day during lunch for about 18 months.
An interesting fact: the sound engineer for E.T. and Star Wars Ben Burtt worked on the sounds in the cartoon.
It's been *at least* 12 years since I've watched WALL-E. I'm only 18 years old and watching this again and actually understanding the meanings behind everything that happens made me cry.
Man how tf has it been that long since 2008😣. Doesn’t feel real
Can you imagine watching WALL-E in 2022 and the movie was already made in 2008 damn..
I bet that the Captain haven't seen a physical book in his entire life and this is the first time he have ever seen and used one. Most likey the human's ancestors stopped using physical books for around 700 years ago and realied on digital books on their screens (probably watching a lot of videos and listen to audio books) making actual books "obsolete".
After what is in my opinion the worst day I’ve ever had, this is the video I return to. You two amazing madlads watching one of the best animated films of all times.
Thank you.
The reason vice Captain auto didn't use more extreme measures is because his prime directive was the survival of the entire crew he cannot actively harm them
But using a taser against his acting captain is acceptable, apparently.
@@gaminggladiator06
It's a taser tho, not a gun or knife.
@@idk-ye7ur so is a spoon, but you’ll still be court marshall’d for trying to attack your superior with it.
@@gaminggladiator06 I imagine it's more like "The Captain is disobeying orders and is acting suicidal/risking his own/others lives, while being belligerent and breaking out of confinement. Non-Lethal attacks and disabling him is acceptable at that point."
@@gaminggladiator06 Forthright promoted AUTO to full control, he is not the superior.
Sweet I'm happy you two enjoyed Wall-E, and it's another one of PIXAR Animated masterpiece. 🐜🌱🌎 It's one of my other favorite PIXAR movie with the 1st being A Bug's Life, since both Wall-E and Bug's Life have a moral lesson about taking care of the earth.
An epic little detail about why operation cleanup didn't fail is that they didn't take into account Wall-e. The little trashbot cleaned Earth enough for that to change. They weren't just wrong about Earth being inhabitable anymore
This Wall-E worked his hardest for 700 years. Mad respect for the boi.
24:27 I think it takes place in the 2800’s? According to the Captain, the “stay in space” message was sent “nearly seven-hundred years ago.”
it's literally been over a decade since my first watch and i still cry to this movie 😭😭
45:38 nearly burst into tears seeing the giant Wall-Rs waving off tiny Wall-E
our WALL-E is the only one left because the others never learned to repair themselves. It's also surprising that he's still running, because by the time of the film, WALL-E has been operating for over 700 years.
I think people usually misinterpret the escape pod sequence. Gopher, the little head of security bot, intentionally sets the pod to launch straight out and self destruct with the plant on board, in an effort to destroy it, which is obviously later shown to be on Auto's order in order to follow the directive not to ever allow a return to Earth. Wall-E presses a bunch of buttons in the pod, but while he triggers a bunch of stuff, he can't change the course or do anything with the self-destruct system, because Gopher locked that from the ship's panel. Wall-E just happens to be able to survive it anyways, or possibly gets the door open in the last moment off-screen, one of the two.
Oh it's a cockroache, it's a joke on how cockroaches are so tough, he gets smashed and survives, as well as they being the last living creature to survive something like a nuke.
I can't believe I watch the whole 56 minutes without even fast forward. Definitely my childhood 😭 I was 13 when they this played in Disney channel
43:34: WALL-A (Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Axiom class).
Wall E went outside of his protocol. He became sentient and that's how he survived. The others just kept their job at task and wore down and some just didnt charge or were destroyed by the dust storms that's why Wall E is scared of dust storms. 39:12 he said he knows that song so they must still have music maybe he listened to the song or watched that movie and he recognized it.
I believe the Captain remembered the song playing when he watched Eve's memories
One of the songs you hear throughout the movie is "Sunday Clothes" from the musical "Hello Dolly." Fun fact: That is one of the songs you will hear being played on Main Street, USA at Magic Kingdom.
Auto is also the only robot character voiced by an actual robot. He is only following its programming. Watch the trope talk on Robots by Overly Sarcastic productions. Red has some really insightful takes on the robots of this movie.
I love the robots in this movie. They all have so much personality to them!
You guys should definitely do the short Burn-E who's that robot working outside the Axiom, it takes place from his side and his entire time throughout the movie is unfortunate.
Wall-E was one of my favorite movies from my childhood because it gives me tears and love also the visuals and shots are impressive. Also Wall-E acts like me because he always needs a friend in his heart. Also AUTO is a villain who I love and hate at the same time.
WALL-E has the characteristics of E.T., R2D2 and JOHNNY 5
Aw man, I love this movie so much and it makes me cry every time. Also, I saw someone mention Short Circuit in the comments. Definitely check that movie out if you're interested, Tim. It's really fun.
Damnnnn did they just rip off the design from short circuit or is it some kind of adaptation
@@TimotheeReacts I don't know. Maybe that design is easier to make a prop out of? Either way, they both look really cool so I can't complain.
@@TimotheeReacts hey I have a suggestion, it's a movie called Rock dog, it's pretty good
I second the recommendation of "Short Circuit", both of them, and "Batteries Not Included", the absolute cutest robot you have ever seen.
@@TimotheeReacts Not really. That type of design had been seen multiple times. (Example: R.O.B. of Nintendo) And it is seen to be a lot easier to copy a few traits than make an entirely new design. Plus, it was all coincidence because the Pixar team did not know about that robot's existence.
It never fails to amaze me how much I can love an animated love story!
I haven't seen wall-e in do long and I forgot how adorable it is.. I was so young when I watched it all the time and now I'm 22 and still love this film.
I dont think i need to fight anyone with this but WALL-E is the best animated movie ever
Two of the film's important songs, "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" and "It Only Takes a Moment", are from the Barbra Streisand 1968 musical "Hello, Dolly!".
The Wall-E figurine next to me and I approve this movie reaction♥️
This is such a cute movie!!
From what I saw in a video game adaptation of the movie, a dust storm was approaching. With that, WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Earth class) and his friends were ordered to seek shelter immediately. WALL-E was the only one to make it inside. His friends weren't so lucky.
This was one of my favourite movies of all time I absolutely love it, the antagonist auto is not really a villain he is just following his code
Gotta love that Wall-E's "voice" was provided by master foley artist Ben Burtt, who also did sound design for Star Wars
WALL-E for Earth
WALL-A for Axiom
