This def tops anything we've ever done by far. I'm gonna see if I can talk em into renting this place. Go big or go home! I watched the lawn care nut, Pan the Organizer, and Lenos Garage all the time before I knew about OG. My wife and I's dream has always been to get a vacation rental one day. Some extravagant homes can be very redundant while this home has unique spaces but compliments others areas while remaining quite functional. The garage and outside parking layout is definitely a bonus for entertaining your favorite car buddies!

Easily became my favorite project on TH-cam currently, Matt is my kind of guy, super inspirational for someone that appreciates life in a similar way. I was talking to my gf and can easily see how this would be a fantastic destination for a week w/ the kiddos. Intrigued by the possibility to separately rent/borrow the E36 as well since I'm thinking most families would fly car-less. It would be an 11 drive from Chicago, so not horrible, but with kids that's another story.
In the Spring, pollen really bad in the South. Being able to wash a car inside is just brilliant. Incredible transformation. I tell anyone who will listen about this channel.
I've said this before (and I'll probably keep saying it so you don't forget)...I have a couple paint colors in mind that might be an option for you as you start to repaint the mustard yellow and other colors you want to get rid of. Greige type colors are going to look better with your higher kelvin lighting and will balance out well with the different wood tones in the house. Sherwin Williams Mega Greige and Fawn Brindle look equally great with yellow/red/brown wood tones, as well as white trim. Amazing Gray is a similar option (but a little lighter). I have all 3 paint colors in my house, and I think all of them are a great neutral option that can go warm or cool depending on lighting and the other colors in the space. My wife has enjoyed watching this series, but she keeps saying that the house is too big/expensive for just the two of us (or three if we bring our son with) and she keeps showing me smaller rentals around Helen. I keep trying to explain that I'm not going to Helen unless I'm staying at your place. She thinks I'm crazy to want to rent your M3 (or future Porsche, if available) and then have to wash it afterwards. I'm not a mountain driver like you, I just want to take it on a few leisurely drives and then wash it like you do. I want a day to myself to just play around in the garage, and try out the pneumatic polishers I don't own to see how much I can improve the janky Enterprise rental car. I want to make sure the garage is as perfect as I found it, clean all the towels/pads I used and refill the Pressol bottles. I'll keep working on her, start socking some money away and maybe getting some friends on board.

Triple pane glass windows is code in Europe compared to dual pane glass in the US. Triple pane glass is the way to go if you want to let in sunlight and not get killed on you electric bill.

73 degrees?!!! My house is kept at 66 during the summer and 68 during the winter! I also have a much smaller home. Thankfully my family and I are all climate compatible. 😁

Oh paint color idea. Our house is painted Benjamin Moore Agreeable Gray inside. We've had it that way for 5 years now. Haven't gotten sick of it yet.
