  • The Food and Drug Administration is warning that Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, can cause misleading test results. This can lead to unnecessary procedures, but the dangers don't stop there.

    Can't say about others but speaking for myself, I have a successful hair regrowth journey. Therefore, in the past, I would suffer from thin hair, hairfall, and brittle hair problem. During that period, I discovered this liitlextra reactivate hair serum for growth, containing all the essentials for hair growth. I applied it regularly, followed by a healthy diet and 30 minutes cardio exercise everyday, which I literally saw phenomenal results in 90 days. Along with all of these, I added badam, drinking mousambhi juice or pomegranate juice everyday.

      I have been applying reactivate hair growth serum for a few weeks, and I'm truly impressed with the results. My hair is feeling stronger, appears better, and the quantity of hair fallout has noticeably lessened. The serum is straightforward to use, non-greasy, and has no fragrance.

    Following pregnancy, I observed my hair fall but I stayed calm. I took action to to control it. I opted for a health-centered strategy.
    I prioritized my nutrition, eating vitamin-packed foods, specially rich in Vitamin E and Protein.
    I exercised daily and practiced meditation for stress control.
    I avoided styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated styling tools to prevent hair damage.
    I also started using LittleExtrra Coconion hair oil and shampoo combined with a neem wood comb.
    The outcome was hairfall control and the recovery of my confidence.

    There is absolutely NO excuse for allowing a supplement to skew lab results. The doctor should have asked for details regarding diet and supplements before sending the patient to the lab. I view this as malpractice.

    Love stories like this, they provide literally no information or value. "biotin supplements bad ... Biotin found in most foods naturally" they don't tell you how much is too much. Also "mis-diagnosis" is not a danger of biotin supplementation, it's a faulty thyroid test.

    • @moonbeamstry5321
      @moonbeamstry5321 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You're dead wrong. I was misdiagnosed with anxiety when I WAS having a heart attack and nearly died. Why? Because I was supplementing with biotin.
      Just two minutes of internet sleuthing would've provided you with all the answers to your questions. Taking over 600 mcg of biotin daily will cause an abnormally low troponin reading. (They sell 800-1000 mcg biotin at the dollar store.) Troponin is released into the blood stream for about 12 hours after heart damage. Troponin is what they test for at the hospital to diagnose heart attack. If your troponin is low then it wasn't a heart attack- you'll be diagnosed with heart burn or anxiety instead and it could cost you your life. SO if you take biotin and go to the hospital with heart symptoms its important to let them know.
      Moreover it SHOULD be standard operating procedure to ask EVERY heart patient who comes in about biotin supplementation but they haven't sent out the memo yet. Till they do, its on us to be properly informed if we want to live.

    • @MiddlePath33
      @MiddlePath33 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@moonbeamstry5321
      That’s the point. THEY SHOULD HAVE ASKED. It’s their job to ask what you are taking that could possibly skew lan results.

    • @moonbeamstry5321
      @moonbeamstry5321 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MiddlePath33 while I agree that it should be policy that they ask- the individual nurses and doctors aren't omnipresent or omnipotent and can't possibly know everything- they're just human like everyone else. This is why anyone coming in with heart symptoms should be given a comprehensive list of ALL supplements and drugs that are known to interfere with troponin lab results. It’s easy to forget everything you're taking when in a stressful situation and not feeling well- but if I'd been given a list to read and remind me so I could put a check mark next to the ones I take that would've made a difference. I hold the hospital policy makers more responsible than the Drs and nurses
      What bothers me even more than them not doing this is the extreme sexism of how they dianose what they deem to be a heart attack false alarm. 9 times out of 10 a man will be told he has heartburn while 9 times out of 10 a woman will be diagnosed with anxiety.
