    In one of the books recording Sri Ramana's life, Maharshi held the cow Laxmi's head on his lap while her body died. Maharshi said that He guided her soul after death and that the soul of the cow Laxmi achieved full realization under Sri Ramana's guidance.

    I am an american,62 years old. Since i was 20 studied Ramana. This video did so much for me. Truly we experience the divinity and pay the respects to men & women when we see this ordinary man in ordinary Life learning us the divinity of God (pbh) dwelling in His creation AND us . Peace. Love.

    A universal Saint! humble, wise and non judgmental. We are all beings and creations of the Cosmos. The love and caring of this man should be exemplified worldwide.He bonds all through his love regardless of religion, caste or wealth. All creatures of this planet have a belonging and deserve due respect and recognition.
    This is enlightenment unlike the supremacy sermons of many of the organized religions of the world.
    Praise the Saint and may his aura enter into my life.

    • @BlueHopi144
      @BlueHopi144 10 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      it will enter even with no praise at all . Ramana used to tell the visitors who were giving pranams to his feet that :" This body doesn't need any pranams ; rather praise your own Higher Self " . That showed his amazing Presence and awareness .

    In the early days when Ramana was sitting, not moving or talking, no one fed him or gave him anything to drink, he just sat. Later when some noticed his holiness they tried to feed him and he wouldn't cooperate so they had to force his mouth open and pour liquid. One does not attain pure awareness after all ones desires are met. Part of it is realizing that all desires when satisfied bring suffering.

    what he did to the cow??? well, he puts his hand on it's head and enlighten it. Upon enlightened tears starts flowing from LAKSHMI the cow's eyes. Tears of joy, the joy of being liberated from the cycle of birth. It was in this video when i first saw it some years back but suddenly that portion had been removed and only god knows for what reason.

      +Jason Vijay Animals have no intellect, and so freedom/knowledge is impossible for them...Sorry...Unless Ramana meant that , because all beings are really pure awareness then every being is enlightened - [in the light/are the light] 'by default'.

      Let's not get into the Holy Cow and Holy Ghost debate. The creations of God cannot be judged priperly by humans, as we too are part of the creation. So be devoted and humble and the Grace will arrive, in whatever path you choose. That is the God's promise and it is genuine. So be a True Bhakt, whatever your path.

    the word love is not something to do with emotions and warm feelings that we somehow create by really liking another person. When two people express such feelings towards each other, the asserted joy and passion becomes limited only to themselves. Because they cannot love a stranger or a tree as they love one another. Submission to love means there exists no you and me. Love appears when you reduce yourself to zero.

This gave the much-needed detachment or what we call sakshi or witness attitude toward the swirl of events before one.This made me poised. Ramana gave me a grounding and I have sort of moved on to a different, very satisfying meditation with the Brahma Kumaris. Ramana is that first all-importanat beacon,Om shanti

    Yes, let the rich deride, the proud disdain,
    These simple blessings of the lowly train;
    To me more dear, congenial to my heart,
    One native charm than all the gloss of art;.
    Spontaneous joys where nature has its play,
    the soul adopts and owns their first born sway;

    Good to have questions on Sri Ramana Maharishi. What you see in him is a reflection of your inner state. He was a renunciate, and focused completely in 'abiding in the SELF'. Mortal actions did not impact him. However, at no point he encouraged people to give up their lives and become renunciates. For him,renunciation of the EGO was important. You will realize that his path is one of the most straight-forward and simplistic path that can be followed by a house holder or a 'man of actions' alike.

    He left her ego in its source!! What cannot be done by us for ourselves He can do it for others!! Because He is within us. So eventually what Bhagavan did to His Mom, He is doing to all but not with his physical body

    So wonderful. The ultimate goal of life is embodied in Ramana. Are there any recordings of His voice?

    This is most Christians don't get.. when you are in the presence of a fully enlightened being, the way you feel, if you are aware, is blatantly obvious that is present in other people.
    Adding wisdom as it applies to all things, his tales of healing.. all lead to people thinking he was God.. which he nor Jesus ever said, but that doesn't stop their followers.
    And sure they ARE God, but so too then is everyone, they have just realized it to a greater or whole, a holy degree.. but we will all get there.

    i've truly resided for all time, which is no time, i see how by giving to others i literally am giving to myself, i see myself as a magical tree metaphor and how others literally are organs of the body and also the earth and everything even objects are parts of the mind its like total empathy in this infinite fractal but it has no lines or curves or form so its not like the ones you
