In February 2021 I was interviewed by Anthony Chene, a French film maker. He asked his questions via Zoom from France. My responses were filmed in my apartment in Perth, Australia. Although I had been to Sri Ramasramam in Tiruvannamalai several times, I had not devoted even a little time to understand the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi and about 2years back or so I happened to watch a video uploaded by David godman and thereafter I started looking into the teachings of Bhagavan seriously and have been trying to follow the teachings of Bhagavan. For this I am really grateful to David godman for the inspiration. Now I wish to state that as far I know, that no teacher has given such simple and direct, practical teaching like Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. I feel one should be extremely lucky to read the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful content. It appears that this video was recorded in 2020. David mentions that he first visited Arunachala in 1976 and it was 44 years before(0.36- 0.52)

You can be mindful and bring back the focus onto the subject . While practicing other methods which involve an object .
(Who is that who is meditating on an object and so on and so forth )
In this manner …all methods per se ..in fact ALL our mental projections can also be a stepping stone to get to the subject or i ..
while answering a question on the purpose of this world Sri Ramana says : it’s purpose is to bring u back to the I or subject .
Getting back to i- must be swift and it yields result if u hold on to i after tasting the sugar …just an example …
What I ‘ve understood from Sri Ramana is that it’s not wrong to wander in the projections as long as you know the way to come back home like the prodigal son 🙂
All methods which involve an object are like spring boards in a swimming pool . They do not hinder your practice of self enquiry but will help you to get to the i .
Eventually u will jump off the spring board and dive into the waters of your Self😊
….like a dog which scents back its Master’s way .. Like a ball which bounces back from the wall or like a stone which is thrown into the sky eventually falls on the ground .
Something like Bungee jumping…. U r safe as long as u r ‘ mindfully ‘ connected with the source .
Just make sure we jump off the spring board and not sit there and start our mental projections 😄 if we lose ourselves ( oh what an appropriate word” our -self” 🫠)in our projections then we need to reset our GPS of sadhana again to starting point lest we wander away in the forest of projections and get lost ….
Sahaja samadhi-the unified field of awareness or Born Again when the ego is destroyed along with its subconscious mind-unconscious mind revealing the superconscious mind 24/7.Jai Ramana.
Did Ramana use the word "Self" literally or there´s an Indian version of it?

Not a hindu but I think maharshi is the most profoundly enlightened man since SG the Buddha.
There are many, but lost in the test of time.
Buddha remains because his followers created a religion out of it
There are many more divine to come and will come, divinity within us, we are one
In some book, (?) Ramana states that the ego of the Sageman (him) arises AGAIN & AGAIN, he sees thru it & it does NOT HARM HIM!!
It's been a great relief for me to discover that even Ramana had to occasionally deal with the EGO! ...so he was NOT PERFECT!!!! 😮

Odd, in christian mysticism/esotericism they are very clear that we have eternal sonship and relationship with our Source Creator/Father. They insist that the dissolution that eastern teachers speak about isn't the last word. Even Paul Brunton spoke much more clear, deep and nuanced in his latter years, writing his Notebooks. Posthumously released for the public, free on the internet.
Most modern Speakers/Teachers are asking for DONATIONS & selling books, etc.

An individual woke up in a state of amnesia did not recognise and accepted this person as himself without an Ego and Memory to go on as himself, but the individual can still ask this question "Who am I" ? Who am I, indeed ! The Individual had been asleep since the day he was born until now allowing his Ego to deceive him with the Earth's fame & glory until this time of disconnection due to the state of amnesia... This is why a Buddha or a Bhagavan cannot describe and talk about it : Tat Tvam Asi तत् त्वम् असि (No One Can Bring One Here, No Book nor Sermon Can Bring One Here, One gets her by One's own effort or Without Effort at all)... And where is Here, well : Matter-Space-Time-Continuum : BEYOND IT: "Eternal Now" & "Always Here".... Word Game in an English Language (Esperanto sense, that is).... Now & Here = that is Nowhere = Now you are right in the middle of God, whatever that is ! or wherever that is ! And a talking Buddha or a talking Bhagavan is definitely a fake one !!! ॐ

God is against discr😮imination …therefore one should see all living beings as divine……karunai….love without discrimination….there is no other way…yoga … meditation could calm the mind…not final solution…meditation is like making hard rice puff…for Cooked soft rice…water has to join with water ( society)to get softness in the outcome…science deals with only discrimination….therefore cannot detect God….changeless
