Good job on the thumb Runcam. Have you ever considered allowing users to have finer grained control over settings in your cameras, like increasing bit rates for resolutions that are using less than 60mbit for example? Thanks!
In recent firmwares there are also "XV" versions of 4K@30fps and 4K@25fps modes that capture the full 4:3 sensor and squash it down to 3840x2160. This gives the stabilization in Gyroflow more room to work with and you don't lose so much FOV due to the lens correction.

@@mode2fpv Okay try locking in the shutter and leaving the ISO in auto if you must leave something in auto. The shutter is what causes Jello. Well that and vibrations. But the reason you want the ND in the first place is to lock the shutter. Give that a try and see if it is any better. If now soft mount may be neccassary. What firware is on your quad?
There could be a couple of different reasons for this of course starting with a tune and soft mount would be the place to start. Friend, I have a Thumb Pro trick for you. You may already know about this, but this camera can work as a web camera and it can be connected to the phone via an OTG cable, then you can watch the result of image settings directly on the phone. Yes, you will need a phone program that can connect to an external camera. I would have gladly shared this earlier, but the algorithms showed me your video just today. Возможно не идеально, но всё довольно просто.
Runcam ruined this camera with the W version, which does increase fov a bit, but image quality went down the toilet. The new lens is smaller and less defined, and there is a jarring software oversharpening that simply ruins the picture. Sadly there's no way to avoid this, all 3 sharpening modes (low, mid and high) produce the exact same oversharpened abomination. Bad move, runcam.
Seems like you need something better to complain about... This channel is about drones so that is who I targeted my video on my channel to. Sorry if that offended you.

@@AdventureFPV you are referring to the new definition of "drone". the original definition was a fixed wing aircraft owned by the US navy, and used for target practice. but I digress. .. oh, believe me, there is plenty to complain about in the world. in this case, it was my only complaint about your excellent video. :)

@@AdventureFPV wow thank you your reply. I will use it where it's best at until i upgrade
@@novisfpv Happy flying my friend
@@AdventureFPV since we are here can i ask you something totally different from runcam... I have iflight succex force 800mw vtx and fatshark scout googles , will there be any improvement if i change the stock omnidirectional antenna to something like foxeer pagoda pro or iflight albatross
I personally would leave the ISO on auto. You've locked the settings in a way the camera can not adjust for changing light conditions.
That's exactly what I want. I can understand why you may want to leave it in auto, but I am looking for consistent exposure.
Yeah I think I liked the OG one myself.
On your quad.. I’m so sick of hearing this.
NOT EVERYONE HAS A KWAD
Seems like you need something better to complain about... This channel is about drones so that is who I targeted my video on my channel to. Sorry if that offended you.
@@AdventureFPV Most people would just watch the video and apply these tips to their setup, but this guy is SICK of it... SMH, Thanks for the tips.
LOL, its all good, must be having a bad day. Thanks for watching.
@@AdventureFPV Sorry if it sounded negative. It was a good video, with tons of useful info. I watched the whole thing, and will use some of it, reference it in the future, as I just bought one of these cams. also liked the video. which I actually like. good job. just saying... It's assumed that everyone is flying a 5" mini quad if you are into FPV. And I was flying FPV before the term existed, built my own tri copter with wood, and tons of fixed wing development. not everybody flies quads... Oh, and I am learning to fly a quad, so far successfully. but I find them so limiting. in sustained speed, range, endurance. space for equipment, payloads, sensors, etc. etc. anyway.. hope you have a great day too.
@@AdventureFPV you are referring to the new definition of "drone". the original definition was a fixed wing aircraft owned by the US navy, and used for target practice. but I digress. .. oh, believe me, there is plenty to complain about in the world. in this case, it was my only complaint about your excellent video. :)
