I work in a hair salon and we have a air wrap! If you blast dry your hair so it is nearly dry, using the barrel where the arrow is facing away from your face, hold the air wrap so it it standing up (not upside down like you would when tonging) and hold the hair in the middle section, let the air wrap it around itself without you wrapping it around! It’s a lot easier and creates a nicer curl! The air won’t pick up the hair if it’s too wet! So it the barrel isn’t picking up the hair itself then your hair is too wet! Hope that made sense haha xxxx

I wish u showed u takin the tool out of the curl after u rolled it up to dry each piece for the second look. Like u showed u wrapping ur hair with the tool to form the curl but didn’t show how u removed the tool from each curl and that’s the part I have trouble with sometimes and would like to see how easy the hair comes off the tool once finished forming a curl
I love the second look, I got the set for Christmas and I can't wait to try that attachment now! I tried the curler for the first time today on my waist length hair, and it didn't go too well, so it's nice to know it gets easier with practice.
The last barrel is not the way to use it..just change the barrel so that you can hold it different much more easyer way and it like sucks your hair up on its own...it does looks good tho..
The way she did it is to create the beach waves kind of a look. I hold my curler upside down when I curl my hair anyway so this actually is really cool that you can use it the normal way.

I don’t find the curls last that long on my hair! I love it the day of but 2nd day there’s never any curl left. If I use a curling wand it usually lasts 3 days. But I prefer the day 1 look of this styler!

For you people who bought this airwrap, is the airwrap still working properly? .. I bought it and I’m on my 3rd because all 3 were having problems with powering on and one of them just died after the first use ‘ I refuse to believe I’m the only unlucky one here ! Or am I ?
She’s using the curler improperly. You don’t need to manually wrap the hair on the appliance. For $500 the Airwrap curls your hair for you! You are supposed to start at the ENDS and the appliance wraps and moves up the hair to the roots to curl. Watch Dyson advertisements.
Well done, I have similar hair type and I never style it because it dries flat and smooth. This would be a game changer for me because I could dry and curl at the same time. I'm very happy with my current Conair Ionic blow dryer and the Conair Infinity XL curling wand but I would still love this tool because it may save me a lot of time. Lovely results, you got the soft natural doll-like wave I love most
Can anyone help with how the second look was achieved? When I use the round brush like that I can't get the hair back out without unwinding again? Her video doesn't show her taking the brush out
Just a question ??...the Dyson hair wrap looks big and bulky and awkward to use. Did you find that when you first used it compared with other stylers on the market is it ? what temperature did you use to create the different hair styles or is it one temperature setting ??..not sure if you mentioned that loved all the different hair styles you tried out... looking for something that last it's quite pricey though and I worry that I might not use it all the time we all have those days where we can't be bothered doing hair days with children and family stuff . .but thanks for sharing your experiences with the styler your hair colour looks lovely by the way and it's your choice weather you spend that much. You’re using it wrong (The last tool you used.) you need to just hold an end piece of hair to the barrel and the air will wrap your hair around the barrel without you having to do it your self
Hey, I recently purchased the Dyson air wrap and I'm quite pleased with most of the results. However, I can't figure out how to get the curls to hold. When curled with a curling iron, they stay in for days without hairspray or any other product, so my dry, colour damaged hair can't be the issue. I have followed all the tutorials identically; dampen your hair, hold for 20 secs on hot, hold for 20 secs on cold to lock it into place. Can anyone recommend me any tips?
Hey x My hair dresser told me that i should use a product such as an oil specific for blow drying on damp hair so before i even blow dry my hair, she also said hair spray is auite damaging and after i have blow dryed or curled my hair i should use an oil or a natural spray that doesnt have any harmful chemicals such as the bumble and bumble invisible hairdryer oil, or the morrocan oil one x Also she also told me for extra hold and volume, once you curl or blow dry the hair, twist it with 2 fingers and pin your hair at the top, like how you would use a roller, Keep it like that for atleast 30 mimutes, however the lomger the better xx Hope this xhelps

Hiya you’re not supposed to wrap it if you leave abit of hair before bottom it will wrap it then pull it up and it will do it for you instead of you physically wrapping it xx
DIY CRYSTAL the air wrap is much better for your hair, it doesn’t suck the life out of it but as per using any hot hair tool it is advisable to use a heat protector spray

I hate with my wand having to hold it upside down and thought the disown was meant to prevent that as it has the two different attachments for one going backwards and one going forwards, can you help to clarify before I invest because if I'm having to awkwardly hold it upside down it's not for me xx
The reason it’s not staying is because it’s a little to wet , your method is amazing but if you didn’t wet it so much it wouldn’t be so much work for you x

Personally I wouldnt spend anywhere near that amount. But the results look amazing. I definitely prefer the curled looks best

She’s doing an updated look as curled ends can look dated. You leave out the ends for an updated look
