Nah, they actually pretty tanky. I’m running a decated sti down-pipe, stock catback, vf39 20 psi, Grimmspeed top mount, allegedly making 280-300 whp and 330 torque.
@@Oatjohnson I have 18x8’s right now and my Cobb access port says about 25-28. With stock rims and tires it says about 29-30. It might be lying to me but I like to think it’s not
I definitely want to see you throw an STi turbo in there to see what the limits are, I have the same setup with a conservative tune, perfect daily for my wife.
mine has similar parts.. more cobb . all sti suspension!! soo much fun... i have owned many different older subbies.. but i love my sexy tuned fast fozzy the best. gonna have to pry it from my cold dead fingers

Too bad you aren't closer to me. I am down near Packwood, WA and am currently building my own 03 WRX for AutoX. Watched a lot of your videos for tips on how to install stuff like the IAG AOS, and even copied some things like the custom coolant crossover pipe you did. Just need someone to tune it once I am done as I have no idea what I am doing with that.
Enjoying this.. would love to see what power if any that intake makes on its own! that would be better to do after the turbo and the intercooler maybe.. should have more of an effect at those power levels.

Doesn't the Forester XT have a TF035 Turbo stock? I have a 06 STi Forester currently making 300whp with the stock VF41 on 19psi, GR STi TMIC, Invidia TBE and ID1000 Injectors. When you put the bumper on you should also do STi tail lights ;)

I wish I’d taken my 2007 2.5L XT to them for a refurb instead of replacing it with a 2017 XT which is a nice car but without the excitement or the character.
