I was studying this passage regarding the rich man and Lazarus, thought about the interaction between these souls in the heart of the earth, and the capabilities they possessed regardless of being absent from their bodies. I personally concluded that all 5 natural senses remained, and probably these 5 senses are the capability of man's soul, which merely uses the physical body as a mechanism to sense/interact with the physical world while still in the body. Leaving the body doesn't remove the 5 senses.
Pastor David Reid. On this two questions, you're referring to the members of the body of Christ, right ? But what about the dead who were saved in the Gospel of the Kingdom program ? Are those saved under the Kingdom program will also receive their celestial bodies to be with the Lord or to be with the Lord in the new Earth ?
Daniel 12:1-2 KJV _And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 _*_And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,_*_ some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt._
What can the souls in heaven awaiting a body do? Are they just spirits floating around without abilities to do what they will be able to do when they get their new bodies? Thanks & Blessings to you.
This is a bit confusing to me. So those who are dead and a naked soul with the Lord, why would they have to put on their corruptible body again that returned to dust so it could be changed to an incorruptible celestial body? I would think that’s what happens with those who are alive when the Lord returns, but not sure why it would be so with those who are dead. Wouldn’t the naked souls just get their new incorruptible body at the rapture?
@@SueinNJ520 It seems to us that those souls that have departed do not put back on corruptible bodies but simply receive incorruptible bodies. Hope this helps.
This is just my opinion…I believe the LORD leaves everyone as is on Earth until He comes came to get everyone that is HIS…because if HE left anyone in Heaven while HE came to Earth to do the BIG CLEAN-UP they would throw a wild party or something and Heaven would be a mess👀. Then HE would have to clean Heaven up😬. The LORD knows what HE is doing🕊❣️
Great refresher! Thank you David.
These videos are life💪🏾💥

@SuperLeonlee Those under the kingdom program will receive resurrected bodies at the beginning of the millennium (Rev 20:4-5). Grace.

@SueinNJ520 Souls without bodies are likened to being naked (2Cor 5:1-4) so there is something about it that is less than ideal. Hope this helps.
