    1 Tim 2: 4
    Getting saved and getting knowledge are mutually exclusive.
    I thank the Great God for being so merciful
    Thank you , Brother David

    Having no fear of God also keeps people from wisdom and salvation. 🤓 --- my friend just sent me this, and I wholeheartedly agree and will listen to more of your teachings. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!!

    Ecclesiastes 1: 2 "Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity." When you say Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, and people have anything to add, Proverbs 13:10 "Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom." Proverbs 11:2 "with the lowly is wisdom." I pray for Israel and all the unsaved people of the world to soften their hearts and humble themselves so that they can accept the truth that is right in front of them. In Jesus name Amen

    I knew it was the gospel that saves but just couldn't understand why Christians are so scared of rightly dividing the scriptures. Thank you for this information. So many times the denomination I was in would place the blame on its members as to why people are not saved. Thankful for the truth.

    Thank you for that answer, biblical and much needed. That being said, I would have loved to hear you go on to talk about what is lost for the believer who fails to rightly divide Scripture, and how important it is in the life of a believer.

    When I was telling my mom about right-division we went to war her and I, 😂 but she told me that watching pastor Richard Jordan break down the chart got her to see it. Prays God! She still reminds me when I’m teaching someone to show them the chart. So, I recommend the timeline of the chart.

    My Catholic family members seem to have more of what I like to call “head knowledge” of Christ’s death,burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins instead of really having the faith in the heart with that gospel message because they also believe in purgatory, baptism, and all of the other works that are performed that the Catholic Church teaches as a must do or else damnation.
    If you really know that Christ is all you need to be made right with God and go to heaven then you wouldn’t be doing any of those other rituals or believing in those false doctrines that the Catholic performs and teaches.
    In King James Version 2 Corinthians 13:5 says:
    “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
    Reprobates is also mentioned in a few other places in scripture:
    Romans 1:28
    “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;”
    2 Timothy 3:7-8
    “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”
    Titus 1:16
    “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”
    The Bible’s concordance for the word reprobate means castaway, unapproved, that is, rejected. Worthless.
    Even though we keep witnessing to these people they continue to have a reprobate mind. They suppress the truth and reject it. They exchange the truth about God into a lie. For my Catholic family members they pull verses out of context and use it as they see fit. They don’t care to have the truth so God will not force it upon them. It is their choice. If you’re outside of Christ and reject the faith then you are still in sin and Gods enemy.

      See...there is a difference between knowledge and trust.
      People can have knowledge of the finished work of the cross...BUT if they don't trust it they are not saved.

      This was me... I knew in my head, but knew in my heart only a few years ago - I really understood. In that moment all of my sins, especially one in particular, grieved me. Praise God for His mercy - it endures forever!

    Pastor David Reid. I have some questions regarding the Lord's conversation with the Samaritan woman in chapter four of John's gospel. Question One : John 4:24 (KJV) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
    Could you tell the meaning of' worship him(God) in spirit and in truth' ? Question two : Does this 'worship in spirit and in truth' applicable to the Kingdom Church or to believers of the Gospel of Christ or to both ?

      @SuperLeonlee Everyone should always operate according to the Spirit and the truth so that principle is transdispensational. Grace.

    Are we who rightly divide, the ones called hyper-dispensationalist? Heard a youtuber teacher make a vague statement re: a comment he heard. Please tell me what is hyper-dispensationalism??

    • @ColumbusBibleChurch
      @ColumbusBibleChurch  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @linwoodkent1246 Those who are Mid-Acts are often called hyperdispensationalists by those who are less dispensational. It is a label they use to suggest we have gone too far like a child who is hyperactive. But it is merely a label. Just as easily, we could refer to them as infradispensationalists since they teach an inferior form of dispensationalism. It is easy to put a label on someone, but the proper course of action is to demonstrate that their position is incorrect from the scriptures. Hope this helps. Grace.

      @@ColumbusBibleChurch Thanks for your reply, however I cannot demonstrate anything to them as I heared him/them on youtube mention hyperdispensationalism off the cuff in a dismissive way. Your answer was a little over my head anyhow. What would really help would be to answer this on a Q and A. One of these men I really like as a prophesy teacher even though he doesn't rightly divide. I just rightly divide like you taught me while listening to him. I want to hear prophesy so I want to keep watching him. But I need a more explained answer to my ? If you have time I know your busy.
      Have a nice Christmas and New Year. My son and I live in a motel we have no plans.

    But you havent addressed Gal 1:8, about Preachers being accursed for teaching wrong doctrine. Its like you ignored it totally. Cmon man, that isnt you. What you said is the truly saved that teaches works salvation is still saved, which makes sense. Who or What is then accursed?

    • @ColumbusBibleChurch
      @ColumbusBibleChurch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @fredost1504 The point that Paul makes in Gal 1:8-9 is that no one should preach any other gospel "unto you" (the Galatians) than Paul's gospel. The verses teach that anyone preaching a different gospel, such as the gospel of the kingdom, to Paul's audience should be accursed. Grace.

    There is no "rightly divide." Study the greek language. It's cutting a straight path, staying on the straight and narrow, neither wandering to the left or the right (lawlessness or legalism), keeping the commandments of God and applying them as best as we know how, but doing it out of love.
